I ordered and paid for 2 items via Paypal I could not find any confirmation that the order was received and I got a page saying thank you for your purchase
There was no indication as to what was in your order list so I went into my account and my purchase history said I have no previous purchases
This is not a user fiendly or clear to follow sales page.

Awesome Australian gardening shop

Great webpage, very quick delivery and a great product, i purchased a tarp which is great quality, not cheap crap, for a very reasonable price. Please support this great family run Australian company. I also putchased the power planter kit a couple of years ago, still going strong. They are just the bees knees in my garden, even using the long one to dig post holes!

Exceptional service and product

As always, my parcel arrived lickety split, securely packed in recycled packaging, and marked as fragile. The Garden Sign inside is exceptionally well made with beautiful slate, and came with a scribe, white carbon paper, and a paint pen. I can’t wait to get cracking on it!

Owner Bruce Chapman preferred to…

Owner Bruce Chapman preferred to personally gaslight me repeatedly via email, assuring me the product worked, when it DID NOT, rather than simply giving his customer the benefit of the doubt, or refunding.

Brian eventually refunded (after I advised a credit would be just fine), but right until the bitter end, Brian was still emailing me, insisting he was right, and I was wrong (so I’m therefore a liar - thanks Brian!). Talk about the perfect way to alienate a new customer forever, and all for the sake of less than $40!!! Brian did not refund postage on his faulty product, that $12.58 gesture was too much for him in order to secure a long-term customer. What a nasty piece of work I found Brian Chapman to be!!! I see this business is now failing; I’m not surprised! An ongoing customer is worth more than $12.58, but Brian clearly doesn’t understand this; Bunnings does, and that’s one reason they’re still in business!

Quality products, fast delivery, trustworthy company

Their products are good quality and reliable. They also have a very personal, efficient packing and delivery service. A very trustworthy business.
I have used them for a number of years and always go back to them for extra items. I have bought pest covers, weedkillers, meters, and tools and found them all to be excellent.

The Aussie Gardener multiple goodies….

I recently purchased some geofelt grow bags, the pest free mini covers, and gardening apron. The items I bought are of good quality, the apron has pockets for tools and your phone and is of high quality canvas (I got a green one). The grow bags must be magical as I'm growing lots of healthy veg - pest free! Love the tutorials on how to grow things and the company - Brian & Kayleen reply to all inquiries promptly. Highly recommend this Aussie company

What a great shopping experience

What a great shopping experience. Aussie gardener had the item I wanted at a good price. It was easy to order. Great communication. Speedily packed by Mah with lovely little personal message. I will be looking here for any of my future gardening requirements.

Ripping Yarns

Aussie Gardener advertised geofelt grow bags as being capable of being lifted when full. In my garden, moving these to mow and strim around and behind them, then put them back, seemed a good idea. I bought a pack of five.

When I tried lifting one, filled to only ⅔ capacity, the material tore where the carrying handle was attached.

I took photos and submitted them to Aussie Gardener, together with suggestions for the manufacturer as to how to reinforce the bags. They sent me a replacement bag.

Imagine my dismay, less than a week later, for an e-mail from Aussie Gardener, announcing all these bags were being cleared out, with 40% off.

They will not be getting my custom again.

Power Planter 324H

A typically well-made USA product.

It tends to come loose quite quickly in a keyless 1/2” chuck, so frequently check for tightness.

If you do not have an electric drill with a side handle then you might get a nasty injury.

I use a Makita BHP459 18v cordless drill. No side handle; one cannot be fitted. On the screw (clutched) setting it will stop even on the highest torque setting and in soil that is neither rock nor clay. The only way this auger will work (rotate) at all is if I use the drill (non-clutched) setting. Therein lies the danger. If the auger gets caught on plant roots it cause the drill to violently whip and hurt your wrist. Even in non-compacted compost the drill will whip. Holding the drill with two hands can still result in an injury.

This is a dangerous tool to use.

Consider your wrist strength before buying and using.

The only issue that I have with Aussiegardener (the business) is that they will delete any slightly negative review of the power planter on their own website. They are critical of people posting product reviews on independent websites.
