Supposedly Australian marble. IT’S NOT!

We contacted Ausmarble in Sydney for a consultation and quote for some marble kitchen benchtops. A few days later we were contacted by the CHINESE owner of the business. He provided a quote for supposedly-Australian sourced marble. The price seemed reasonable, so I checked it out with a mate who is a builder and pretty cluey. He told me Ausmarble products are just cheap Chinese imports, but priced up for the Australian market. We made enquiries and other people told us the same thing. We were also told the reviews on the Ausmarble website are just fakes. When we later told the owner we had decided to buy our benchtops through Euromarble instead he rang several more times to offer “new deals” and “discounts”. We finally asked him to stop calling us and he then swore at me for “wasting his time” asking for a quote. Not a pleasant or professional service experience at all from the owner.. We recommend that you avoid dealing with Ausmar
