Fraudulent claims on website, produced in China

I thought this was a German company as it is no where indicated on their website that the shoes are shipped from China. The company claims that the shoes are vegan and thus sustainable and climate-friendly, however, they needed over a month to arrive in Germany as they were shipped from China over France to Germany. This is more than disappointing and the claims on their page are more than misleading. I would not recommend buying these shoes.

Stay away - This is a fraudulent company hawking nasty cheap Chinese stuff

A warning to anyone considering ordering from Aurora Hikari - DO NOT. I ordered two pairs of shoes by mistake as the website did not state that the shoes ship from China. I realised it after 2 days and sent a cancellation request. They refused to cancel saying the order was shipped - a lie - the order only shipped a month later. The condition of the package and shoes was as other reviews have stated, cheap, nasty, stinky, too small. I returned them and paid over 20 EUR tracked postage all the way to Hong Kong Island. As I suspected it would be, the parcel was refused and it was shipped back to me. But I was not going to let them get away with it and I lodged a claim with PayPal and got my money back. Since I had paid 70 EUR for the shoes, it was worth it even though I lost the 20 EUR postage. Persevere, lodge claims with PayPal or with your Bank.

Shoes ship from Hong Kong, customers pay for returns!

I bought some of these slippers for my daughter, thinking they were being shipped from Germany (the site is all in German, giving the impression of a German company). The shoes shipped on 6 February and finally arrived on 20 February. The shoes were badly packaged in a bag that we had to rip open to get open, making it unusable for a return. The shoes stank strongly of chemicals and plastic when we unpackaged them.

Both sizes didn't fit her and I contacted customer service for a return. They told me that they only offer free exchanges but for a return the customer has to pay for the shipping -- which to Hong Kong was over 20 Euros. I was very disappointed in the whole experience from the sale (being tricked into thinking this was a German company; waiting 2 weeks for the shoes to arrive; the bad quality and then having to pay high shipping costs for a return). Would not recommend and will definitely never be coming back here again! You can find better quality on other stores in Europe at a better price such as Next.de.
