I wanted to try out their “free” trial, they asked for my info, so i put in my revolut card info, which i find safer to use for online purchases instead of my regular card. I fortunately didn’t have a lot of money on there, so when they tried to charge me 70$, revolut froze my card and the payment didn’t go through. I have never heard of the practice of paying money for a free trial and then getting a refund. Sounds like a scam to me…

Site says “you will not be charged until after your free trial” and then they immediately tried to charge my card $69. I emailed them about how wrong this is, and was told “you will be refunded after being charged but it will depend on your bank how long the refund takes”. A charge then REFUND is not the same as NOT charging you until after a free trial. This company is shady AF.

I like the app but there is NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT/ There was no advanced warning or no way to get a refund when my app auto renewed. I have since canceled for next year but irritated when it is impossible to talk to someone in customer support.

I installed the app on the 30 days trial period. O was a little worried as it asked for payment details. But needed to sleep and wanted the meditation and stories. The voices are not great but tried for a few days. 1st of all there was a trial charge. I put a notification on my calendar to remind me that the payment would be deducted on the 21st January 2024. On the 5th I get a notification from my bank of a Aura charge and its the premium
£129.99 I never agreed yo this. I looked on my android play store and there is no subscriptions at all. I can not find how to cancel this and eventually emailed Aura help. I was told someone would get back to me.. i email Google support and they can not find anything on my Google account for Aura either and I needed to send them the proof of debit.. I have asked for a refund and hope I get it. But am shocked at the Business ethics and on the Google search... (Free Aura app) sentence always pops up.. nothing free and very disappointed. I HOPE I GET MY REFUND AS IN South African CURRENCY the subscription is nearly the same amount as our minimum monthly wage... 😫

This is the app I really needed to meditate in the long term. It has very varied tools and files for almost every conceivable wish whether it be meditation, sleep training, hypnosis and even mjucis to relax by. I find myself logging in every day!

They automatically renewed a subscription on the anniversary date when I had CANCELLED it at least SIX MONTHS previously. They do not have a phone number where you can talk to someone - only email which someone assured me they would refund but DID NOT!!! Now I have to chase them down again and leave messages to which I get no response.

I was charged mistakenly for a family plan. Upon reaching out I was immediately issued a refund for the extra charges. Very impressed. I love this app and it has definitely improved my mental well-being. Highly recommend.

There are better apps out there with more focused programs but my main complaint is they have been autobilling me without any renewal notification so turns out I have been paying for it for several years even though I have not been using it. BE CAREFUL to properly cancel if you do not like it. It does not show up in your Apple subscriptions and cannot be cancelled there

Aura has become an extremely helpful tool in my journey towards managing anxiety and achieving restful sleep. Tried Aura’s free trial and really loved it! Been regularly using it for sleep and meditation. Even recommended the app to my friends and family!

Aura has been an absolute life-saver for my mental health for the past 2 years and is a world better than other similar apps. It has an impressive breadth of content and the coaches are world-class.

Signed up for trial subscription, gave the app a try, found it to be full of amateur "coaches" but was charged in full after one week before I had a chance to cancel
