Upgraded audit tool
The tool overview is excellent and assists in providing a easy to follow and validated report. The recent changes to the tool helps breakdown the interview and documentation summaries, but doesn't allow for tracking of differences between sites when writing the report. However, it is easy enough to manually track this and overall doesn't negatively impact the overall product.

I was very new to internal safety audits and started the course 'green'. I found the software easy to navigate and organized in it's setup as you work through the audit. The audit scope section provides a nice overview of the work involved with base visits and number of people to interview while at the same time remaining flexible as worksites vary. The Evidence Gathering section was laid out in a logical manner and the ability to add to existing comments was beneficial as a reminder available to how others had responded. I found the Summary Information section very helpful as you either type in a response in the box provided or simply attach the appropriate document. The software cross-checks information throughout, providing checkmarks on those portions completed which helps organize new auditors and provides the method of moving through the software steps to complete audit.
At times I needed to contact the AASP people for clarification, they were more than helpful, providing detailed answers and ever patient with their replies.

This was an easy to use and helpful software. It enabled me to remit my SECOR audit in a quick and timely manner. I received my results within a week of sending them to my qualifying partner. Highly recommend!

As you know large COR audits involving multiple external auditors are very costly to the client. The team auditor cost, of an additional $50 per team auditor, is significantly less that the cost associated with hours of manually duplicate the content from one audit to another. With AuditSoft you can merge the work of 20+ audits in seconds reducing the overall time of the audit and the associated non-value adding cost to the client. AuditSoft decided to charge a small fee, to offset the cost to develop and maintain the merging features, to the group that uses it (team auditors), rather than to distribute the cost over the general AuditSoft license fee. All-in the cost of AuditSoft is always significantly less than GST on the average external audit. That being said we would love to provide everything for free, but without income we just cannot continue to provide the ongoing improvements and support that our customers expect.
I know this will not make the $50 fee go away, but hopefully we provided some context to justify it.

The AuditSoft tool overall is very easy to use and follow! There are some great aspects to the program which is a definite improvement over the previous tool used. It would be great if we had more functionality over how the report is presented (ability to change spacing, or fonts, etc.)
