On June 3, 2025, I purchased "Sound Explosion: 100+ Packs of Royalty Free Music & Sound Effects" on Humble Bundle, and since then, none of the included packs have worked for download. Each time I try, I get the message: "You are not authorized to download all the selected tracks. Please verify that you have purchased them!"

A few hours after my review, they resolved the download issue, so I changed the rating to five stars.

After clarifications:
Everything inside the bundles you bought from them (Humble Bundle, Fanatical) you get a PERMANENT (so NOT a 90-day-only) licence, you do not need a subscription of any kind. The links are expiring, but they'll send you new links after you e-mail them. (These will expire as well after about 6 months.) If you own more bundle, they send the links for all of them mixed together, so no need to ask them per bundle. (Probably the same applies if you own both HB and F bundles, I only bought HB bundles from them.) So, it's not a scam, but the method they chose is not the best to say the least. Hopefully they find a better way to deal this thing. (For e.g implementing the feature to access your downloads after loging in.)
Anyway, the quality of music/sounds is very good - maybe the best you could/can buy in (HB or F) bundles. You can download them in both wav and mp3, and then use them in your software of choice (any good software should handle both formats).

I purchased an AudioHero bundle through Humble Store and initially had some issues accessing the content. Customer service resolved everything quickly and efficiently. Their catalog is immense, with a wide variety of sounds that are perfect for creative projects. Excellent support and a smooth overall experience.

I purchased a bundle a while back and didn't download all of the files straight away. After going back to my bundle some time later, I found that some of the packs could not be downloaded. Contacted customer service and they sorted it out straight away. I am pleased to give audio hero a well-deserved five-star review.

The audio tracks are very good quality, and their customer support is very helpful and responsive.

I was looking for a very specific sound for my Theatre play and I could easily find it. I would totally recommend it for this kind of use.

Up until I stumbled across the YouTube and Podcasting Royalty Free Bundle on Fanatical, I never heard of Audio Hero before. Seeing how affordable the bundle was, I just could not resist adding it to cart.

What I found was great music packed in messy packages - Going through the files, finding just what you need, can and will try your patience.

But the biggest issue with buying music, especially, buying music for use on YouTube is the license - Is it a lifetime license? Does the license have an expiration date? Does the license last until your subscription last? What? Just how many hoops do you need to jump through?

So, I emailed Audio Hero Support. And I was promptly told that my license is perpetual. Forever. Until death do us part.

Now, whether or not I become a loyal Audio Hero customer, that's up to on just how successful my YouTube channel maybe. But if I am successful, I will definitely buy their bundles again. Maybe even sign up for a subscription.

They sell a pack of sound effects on humble bundle periodically, what they do not tell you is that this pack of sound effects is only valid and legally usable if you publish your project within 90 days from the time of redemption.

Let me repeat, you legally cannot use the sound effects your purchase unless you pay for an active subscription at time of publishing, and the subscription the bundle give you only lasts 90 days.

This is not made at all clear in their offering on humble bundle, they make it appear as though you are actually purchasing these sounds, when in actuality you are only purchasing a 90 subscription.

Our students have been loving using Audio Hero when working on their media communication-related projects. Not only has the product proved to be great but so has their customer service. There have been a couple of times where we've needed assistance and Florence has been quick to help resolve any issues we've had.

Very ugly and ancient web interface, wrongly tagged stuff, confusing license permission or even contradictory when bought from Fanatical or Humble Bundle. No upfront information about expiracies. Some tracks are very old and badly compressed, there's a lot of content that just feels like old TV commercials and not much of use for different kinds of media. Definitely not worth the price.

Edit: You say you've updated the web interface, it's still the old style from 30 years ago. Only a search bar that tells you it uses "AI" but that seems to never understand even your default prompts: always recommend the same ones that appear by default, most probably because tagging is wrong and tracks have all the taggs.
However you keep replying saying that your site works correctly and everything is well organized. Want to check for yourselves? See how the ambient effect tracks are inside the music category and not the sound...

Edit2: And about the license, it doesn't matter some random user stating they represent AudioHero replying that the bundles are "licensed in perpetuity". You should review your official documents and provide license files along those pack downloads. Because as it currently is, I didn't get any, and I have to download from your site, which has those conflicting terms. Any sheer number of posts in some reddit forums won't change or otherwise legally bind any fictionary license to begin with.

Last Edit: I'm not going to review any further replies. Just stating that your last update is a lie. I replied to both inquiries I received in my mail address from trustpilot about you, and in both cases provided evidence. Words are meaningless without action. Instead of giving excuses and argue with a customer online, do those chances you mention and give what you promised.

In fact, have been using this service for several years, but only the most recent date could be selected as the experience date, so we set it to 2024.
My impression after several years of use is that this is not a bad service. The response time can be a little slow, but as long as you are not pushing for something unreasonable from us, they do not let you down.
I use a translation to communicate with them, and sometimes it doesn't come across well, but they continue to be patient and supportive in those cases. Very favorable.

The music and sound effects provided are excellent. The quality of the sound effects, in particular, is excellent, as they are provided by a sound effects company that has been in business for many years. You will not lose anything by using this service.

I had the same experience as Premek below. I contacted AudioHero and they were able to provide me with the credits I purchased. They resolved the problem quickly and professionally. They were very friendly and willing to help me.

Their sounds truly elevated my work to a whole new level. I highly recommend AudioHero to anyone in search of great sound at a reasonable price.

Similar to others I had an issue claiming HumbleBundle bundle. Even though my code said expired I contacted support and they were kind enough to give me the downloads to my account manually.
Sound quality seems good enough, there is large variety of sounds for different project and I will definitely be using some of them

I regret to inform you that I, like many others, was deceived by audiohero.com through a Humble Bundle purchase. As countless online reviews attest, this company engages in deceptive business practices.

Contrary to the advertised "Content Licensed in perpetuity for customers," there is a hidden 90-day download limit. Moreover, continued use of the downloaded content is contingent upon an ongoing, paid subscription to AudioHero. This is unequivocally fraudulent.

It's worth noting that I redeemed the code promptly after purchase. However, the misleading claim of "Content licensed in perpetuity" persists on Humble Bundle's product page."
