Avoid at all costs I wish I had read the reviews, The dress I ordered came in a different colour a cheap nylon material it wasn’t even finished around the neckline, They advertise as a London boutique selling greatly reduced items when infact they come from china, I eventually got a 50% refund after several emails I will just accept my loss, I wouldn’t even give them 1 star

DO NOT GO NEAR THESE CROOKS. CHINA BASED NOT LONDON AS THEY PURPORT. Misleading origin, poor quality goods, and unreasonable return policy. Items were not as described or wearable. Told I must pay return postage to China despite substandard quality. Customer service felt automated rather than handled by real people, which made resolving a genuine complaint frustrating.
Would certainly NOT recommend.
Even one star is too many.

Do not buy from this site! It’s a scam. Not a UK business. Products are appalling quality and when you seek to return, they claim their UK warehouse is “under refurbishment” and all returns have to be sent to China (at your cost) for a refund. In blatant breach of customer protection regulations. Their “contact” is just a bot, there is no way of getting assistance.

I ordered from Aubrey & Rose believing it to be a UK-based brand, based on the .uk website and a Facebook profile listing London as their location.

The dress arrived faulty and misdescribed:
• frayed neckline on arrival
• sizing completely incorrect
• poor quality that did not match the product description

When I raised this, I was told the only options were:
• return the faulty item to China / Asia at my own expense, or
• accept a partial refund or store credit

Despite the item being faulty, the company refused a prepaid return or refund without return, repeatedly stating (in capital letters) that customers must pay all international return costs (see attached screenshot).

The overseas origin of the goods and the requirement to return faulty items to China were not made clear at the point of purchase, which I found misleading.

I would not have ordered had this been transparent. Posting this so other customers are fully aware before buying.

I was a bit unsure about ordering a jacket online, but this tailored jacket surprised me in a good way. The cut is flattering and doesn’t feel stiff when moving around. I emailed customer care to double check sizing and they replied fast and very clearly, which helped a lot. Shipping was smooth, no delays, no drama.

I believe this company is also trading as Aubrey's Boutique. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE WEBSITES. Exactly the same issues as Aubrey Rose - China based online outfit posing to be a physical UK retail store. Items are appalling quality, do not be fooled by discounts as there is no way you are buying an item which is worth the full price they advertise.

Returns are impossible despite a 30 day no fuss full refund guarantee on their website. They will offer you discount on further purchase and a no return/partial refund if you kick up a fuss and are quick to point out that postage back to China is rarely less than £40.

Awful company and should be shut down

Do not touch this company. Quality is beyond shocking . LED to believe it’s a company based in London.

This company make poor imitations of the clothes they advertise on their website. The clothes in the pictures they use are not what you receive. When challenged on this they refuse to acknowledge and say returns are only to china at your cost. I managed to get 50% refund after several emails complaining. Should have checked these reviews before ordering. Complete Scam and fraud, don’t waste your money.

Do not order. I ordered dress - quality was poor, it was see through. When asked about return, it needed to be sent to China. I ended up with partial refund and poor quality item which won’t be worn

I had my suspicions when the items ordered took 3 weeks to arrive. The dresses where poorly made, of a low quality fabric & didn't resemble anything like modeled.
When emailing the company for a refund they were prompt but said the UK site was closed and i would have to return the items to China.
I queried that their website lists a London shop, however that is not true and all returns have to be sent back to China. I would not recommend using this compamy

I liked the design of the blouse I ordered, and the size was correct. Unfortunately, the packaging was slightly damaged and it take away the pleasant feeling of receiving it.

Ordered one of the men’s jackets during the sale and honestly didn’t expect it to feel this premium. I usually struggle with sizing but their size guide was spot on, didnt need to exchange anything.

Dress arrived after about 2 weeks, looks nothing like what I ordered. My dog sleeps on better.
Should of read reviews but I didn’t so looks like I’m gunna have to take the loss

AVOID THIS COMPANY.
The products are nothing like described. Not from UK but Asia.
You cannot return unless to Asia at your own expense.
Feels like a scam.

SCAM site I would rate 0 stars if this were possible. Website needs closing down.
Falsley advertised as London based. Actually China based. Falsley advertise clothing. I bought what was advertised as a suede dress but when it arrived weeks later it was cheap material, badly made, tacky and different colour to website.
No point in returning as costs £23+ to return.
Steer well clear.

Bought a simple blouse for work and it’s become one of those easy grab and go pieces. Looks polished without trying too hard.

Does not deserve this 1 star at all!
After receiving my 3 dresses which were absolutely rubbish I tried to return for a full refund. It was going to cost me around £30 as i needed to send back to China not London as I thought! They offered me different options but I wanted to return & receive my full refund. I went through the process of filling out forms to send back but the return address was not recognised!I emailed the company and told them my attempt had failed so I would take the 20% option as I didn’t have another choice at that moment. Instead of them giving me the correct address or even saying it was correct they just apologised for my stress & they would sort my 20% refund immediately.
So I am now £104 down & they are complete fraudsters!
They should not be allowed to keep trading! So angry 🤬

Just to update I claimed my full refund back from my credit card company, just click on your purchase & press help & dispute.

I wouldn't even score a 1 absolute shite from China.. phony website phony everything i was sold a suede dress its terrible quality now terrible customer service offering return to China only..

Avoid at all costs, they are based in China, my item has never arrived. I have sent in excess of 12 emails with the same response , they have proof the courier has delivered . This has taken up hours of time in the evenings and I am now having to check if my credit card can investigate further. This is complete spam and they are imo not a reputable company . I would not even give one star but no other option. Ordered on 9t January supposedly delivered on the 21st January . I am happy to share all my correspondence .
