Best caviar I’ve ever tried!

Walked past the Attilus shop and randomly decided to pop in for some caviar. Honestly did not expect it to be THAT good 😅 The texture and taste were amazing, super fresh and buttery. I’ve never really tried caviar like this before. Definitely recommend it to everyone!

Really good quality

Ordered from Attilus for Easter and truly loved it! Everything arrived fresh and in perfect condition. The taste is super rich, with the perfect amount of saltiness. I’m actually not a big fan of overly salty caviar… I’ve tried some before where the salt just kills the flavour. But here it’s really balanced, the salt actually enhances the taste instead of overpowering it. You can also feel that slight mineral almost nutty note, which I really liked. Really great quality! Would definitely order again☺️🙌

AVOID; EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISAPPOINTING



The customer service of this company is a total disaster; I've never seen anything like it from a seller that is selling upmarket products and not trying to look like a total scam! I've been unsuccessfully trying to reach someone to handle my issue for an almost entire 4 months now!

In December I made an order including several tins of caviar and a bottarga.
Firstly, the bottarga that I ordered simply wasn't included at all in the package. No warning, no explanation, no refund; nothing. I sent one message via their website about this right away and a second one in the weeks after about this, without any reply from them whatsoever so far.

The second issue is that one of the Royal Oscietra 125g Caviars was spoiled at opening! I opened it in the middle of February, so less than two months after receiving the order and it had an oxidized taste! The date of expiry on the back was 10 March and I stored it as always according to the instructions; this should not happen. Again, I sent several e-mails on this issue as well and called the hotline several times, all without ever receiving a reply for months now! What a joke!

Needles to say, in addition to the financial losses of around 170€, I also got myself twice into embarrassing situations with two dinners ruined because of the above. A full refund under those circumstances is really the bare minimum.

I've been ordering several times over the years from this company, so far without complaints. From what I'm reading online from similar reviews from Germany (where they are based), a recent takeover is to blame for the drastic drop in customer support quality and frequent mix-ups in orders. Therefore my honest advice is to avoid their services.

Great caviar

Great caviar, good customer service, reliable delivery. Also sell nice accessories and accompanying products like blinis. Have been using them for several years, never experienced a problem.

I have tried to contact customer…

I have tried to contact customer service several times with no response. I ordered cavier for my daughter, I live in Italy, DHL failed to deliver before the cavier was spoiled. DHL says it is up to shipper to file for refund of products. I spent over £200 euros and now have a spoiled product. No one has contacted me and I have sent all information with no response. it was supposed to be delivered on the Dec24 and was delivered on Dec 30, all ice was water and cavier in tins warm. Very bad service

Very bad service. Booked a shipment for dec 21st but never arrived. I had to spend one day to find a substitute product. Unreliable and no customer support at all. terrible

Unreliable, don’t care, fish egg sellers!

Previously dealt with this company with no problems, so decided to splash out for a surprise supper for my wife who loves caviar, sour cream and blinis - cost £150 for beluga and blinis.
Ordered with a week’s notice to make sure there was plenty of time for delivery, sorted out the sour cream and great communication from delivery company advising my package was arriving on time….what could possibly go wrong?
Opened the package and no blinis! Surprise ruined!!
Contacted Attilus, who advised they had run out of blinis, but sent the caviar anyway, and advised some customers, but not me despite having at least 2 days to allow me to find an alternative. Telling me I could have bought blinis elsewhere is not a sensible option when one lives in the countryside.
Good news, they kindly refunded £4.95 for the blinis not supplied. Bad news: TERRIBLE SERVICE, ruined surprise and £145 wasted.

Service beyond expectations

After carefully selecting reliable trader, I've placed my first caviar order with Attilus last week; it was meant to be a birthday present for my daughter. One of the main factors was that caviar comes from their own sustainable farms in Germany.

I've placed my order over the phone with Igor, the most considerate and friendly gentleman. Next day guaranteed delivery was organised brilliantly, absolutely fool proof, but Royal Mail messed it up anyway and I was only able to get my hands on it 2 days later. While getting ready to make a complaint to Royal Mail, I've called Igor to obtain postage receipt. He instantly told me that a replacement item would be posted to me immediately for the next day delivery and he would handle complaint himself. To say it was a pleasant surprise would be an understatement.

When customers are treated with so much respect and consideration, it's safe to assume that the quality of the product will also exceed any expectations, much like outstanding service I have received.

You've definitely got a new regular customer in me!
