They lied twice when they said it was shipped. It never was. Luckily I was able to get my money back after I refused to deal with them anymore. I do not recommend them to anyone! All they talk about 17 years of business. If they didn’t have one for my truck, just say so! Don’t say bullcrap until u get one. I am going to pay more money with a real company that can actually get me one. Beware if you buy from them!

Warning Beware of Atansmissions.com, Took my money, said would ship in 5 to 7 days. Call after two weeks, say will ship in a few days. Call a week later they say goes out tomorrow. Call another week later, said ships in the morning. They lied for months, no transmission ever shipped, These people are scammers. Finally got credit back on my credit card.
Took my money but have been lied to 4 times about shipping dates been a month now was told they haven't started it yet but maybe will be shipped Monday. If it is back ordered then just tell me don't keep giving me answers like it is in testing and should be shipped by this date.

I order transmission back in August put it in it failed called they sent another transmission it also had problems so on Dec 6th called talk with Kevin he agreed to just throw in the towel too. I would say I may do business in future but it took a while to get refunded and their customer service needs work. The only problem I really have is I was told a full refund and when check came it was about 400 short so i am going to try and figure out why. But if it was not for Kevin i would be extremely dissatisfied. But Kevin tried to make it right.
This is my second rebuilt tranny from them. First one from two years ago still running strong in a diff. vehicle. Both times they were helpful, on time for pick up, and charged me exactly what they said they would. Their price was better than what I found in the UP, even after traveling there to pick it up. Their warranty with unlimited mileage during the warranty period is also better than anything I found in the UP. I have recommended these guys to several of my friends and will continue to do so.

Ordered 4L60E transmission on 11/21/19, shipped to NC 12/11/2019, Delivered on 12/13/2019. OK ,not to bad for completion of order. Only problem I have is being told it was shipped on three different days only not to have been shipped at all. Even had a tracking number for one day that was not even working. So, here is the real deal, if I wanted it quick I would have had it rebuilt local. I knew it would take a couple of weeks to send, and for the price it was OK.
I understand the production and lack of cores and shipping problems, but just tell people you don't know if you don't have the info for them. And always call back with updates. Kevin was always there and was very quick to call me back. (Thank You) Transmission is being installed on 12/19/2019. Got everything I ordered except my oil cooler that was not shipped with trans. I will ask for a refund. Update after trans is installed.
UPDATE: 12/19/19 Trans was installed today along with rear main seal kit and a oil pan gasket. Everything seems to be in proper working order all gears will pull. I will test drive on 12/20/19. almost back to a five star rating. Also called Jen today for a refund on the oil cooler. Said she would process it ASAP.
12/20/2019 took truck out for a 50 mile drive and the trans was OK. All in All happy with transmission. Will update again after 3000 mile. Hope my refund for the oil cooler will be quick and easy because I am still under 30 days from my order date. Thanks Will

Was having issues with my 2003 silverado 4L60e. Spoke with kevin in engineering at atransmissions. I had to say that this gentlemen took his time with me listening to problem i was having. He advised me of a way to check the vehicle out myself to determine cause of the problem. I followed kevins instruction and turned out the vehicle speed sensor was bad. I replaced the speed sensor and the transmission is working great again. I just find it so cool that atransmissions was eilking to help me out and save me a ton of money right before christmas and if and when this transmission or any other does fail kevin and atransmissions definitely will grt all my business and all my relatives and friends just for their integrity. He stated that if he would have sold me a transmission it would have had the same problem and i didnt need one yet. Unbelievable values in todays day and age. What more can i say?
Transmission took 2 months to receive, I was told it would take 2-3 weeks. Received transmission and it wouldn't shift out of 3rd. Called them multiple times to get a servo shipped and that is still an ongoing process. They also sent me the wrong torque converter, so I sent it back and bought my own, still waiting for them to refund me for my purchase of the torque converter, its been over a month and they still haven't sent me my refund after I've called them countless times. Spoke with one of the managers named Jen on numerous occasions and I've yet to get anything accomplished. Horrible experience with this company, I'm a total of 4 months in dealing with these people..... I'm completely annoyed!!! Kevin the technician has lied to me multiple times and so has Jen!
No refund for my torque converter or servo shipped when I was told it was shipped. The lies continue!
Got a call from Kevin personally after I wrote this review, he apologized and said he's on it. Thanks Kevin

The transmission I’ve ordered have had little issues, but the customer service is a joke. Kevin and his group of crappy customer service members are a bunch or liars. The last transmission that I bough( 1995 Chevy K1500) took almost two months to receive. Then they tell me it’s going to take another two weeks to get a torque converter. So they said if I purchase my own they would Reimburse me. Well that only took one month and half to receive my money. Had to get my credit card company involved. Bunch of damn liars at this company.

I have never seen my son and husband go through so much frustration. My son paid in full. Got a rebuilt transmission that lasted about 300 miles. Warranty, rebuild, delivery all broken promises. He went about 3 months without a vehicle to drive. My husband ended up buying a new rebuild from another company. After threats of lawsuits, and having a sheriff come to the business to get the transmission. Suddenly they delivered a transmission. It will go in a junk pile. Trust me NEVER do business with this company. Many years of business name changes. Many complaints. Many empty promises. I hope and pray that Karma bites you hard in the *SS. We have spread the word. Gaylord Mi customer.

I've purchased many transmissions from this company until about a yr ago when things started going down hill. Had a 4l80 built and shipped from them with nothing but problems since purchase. Took 6 months from original purchase date to receive transmission. Then they send a tourqe converter for a 4l60 instead of the correct one and the wrong tailhousing on transmission. So customer purchased one from local parts store so trans could be installed. So it did great for literally 10 days until the transmission exploded all the trans fluid out of it onto the exhaust causing the truck to catch fire. Lucky fire was put out before any major damage was done. But I get same run around as many customers do when making a warranty claim, consistently lied to about shipping dates and what's actually happening .it has now been going on 3 months since since warrenty claim was made and Im yet to receive a working transmission or an accurate date or time when I actually will receive one. Also still have not received a refund for the wrong tourqe converter they sent, so it's been almost a yr since this started and haven't had a working transmission for more than 2 weeks through this process from the beginning. So warning to all find another place to order from you will NOT be happy with your purchase from atransmissions or gotallautoparts. P.s. Kevin ( manager) is the biggest POS working there he never gives actual true answers to any question or try to fix the problem and will not return phone calls voicemail or not nor will any other employee.

I would give less than 1 star if I could. This place is a joke. Do not be fooled by their 5 year warranty. It is absolutely BS. I purchased a transmission in February. It went out in October. Spoke with Kevin he said he would get me a Replacement transmission out. Done right? Not even close!!! I was told 6 different ship dates called every day I was told it was going to ship. Every time I called I got a different reason for why it didnt ship. Sometime Id call and get hung up on. Some days I would be put on hold and no one would come back. Then I call Kevin back and throw a fit. He then says it wasnt his problem. The customer service people were lieing to me and he had nothing to do with it. He says hes just an engineer and he cant control what they say or when they ship. Fast forward to a month later I finally get my transmission and pay 750.00 a second time to have it installed. Guess what .. its junk! Second gear is gone. Now im back to square one. They now want to send a servo and have me replace it on my dime. I am having a Chevrolet dealership do the work and they can attest to this rediculous behavior. It is going on two months and my transmission is still not fixed. The part was supposed to been recieved last Friday and now its almost friday again and no part. Please!! Consider yourself warned this place will be your worst mistake you ever make dealing with these people. I swear to you even if you have to pay double it would be worth it. Their 5 year warranty is a bait to get you to buy. Trust me it is not worth the paper it’s written on. Every single one of them are liars!!!
Reply to the BS reply- they have a 5 year no fault warranty. My complaint is my transmission went out October 13- it took till 11-14 to get one shipped while they LIED!!! Every other day because Thats when they said it would ship. Every time i call its a different excuse. Keep in mind I paid 750 to have it installed. Got the new one after the biggest hassle ever.. it was junk 2nd gear was gone. They wanted me to install a part to try to fix it... thats 165.00- so thats twice at 750 plus 165.. now IF they ship another one it gonna cost me another 750. So with total cost im in 3200 in their rebuilt transmission!!! My damn complaint is your lousy customer service. And lieing about when my replacement was being shipped. And when i recieved the junk one you sent I told you to come get both of them and fix one and send it back!! I know Kevin wrote this, you are the biggest Liar of them all! I talked to you the day my part didnt work and you said no problem, ill call you by the end of the day with a ship date . Like always NO CALL!!!! I was not surprised! Anybody want to verify my story call Rusty at Mike Alsop Chevrolet 765-280-4237. They installed them. They can attest to this s**t show. Its absolutely rediculous. There is nothing wrong with my truck besides the junk transmission in it!! My transmission was installed in February ! So it lasted 8 monthy. This response from them should be proof enough. As stated talked to them 10/7 its now 12/14 my truck is still in the shop waiting on a transmission!

Let me start by saying there would be a 5 star review if the torque converter was shipped with or even ordered at the time they shipped the transmission. Until they get this figured out expect to purchase your own. with that being said they did refund me for purchasing my own torque converter and they did it in a timely manner.
I ordered the transmission for my 95 Chevy Astro van on Nov 11 2019 and it was shipped to my door by Nov 21 2019, I had called and talked to Kevin and explained that this van was purpose built for car audio and asked if there were any upgrades available. He said he could install a towing shift kit and would do so without an extra fee, thumbs up to Kevin cause it will help greatly. But there was no torque converter in the shipment. After placing another phone call with a lady I did not catch her name, It was then explained that they are shipped from a different warehouse and that is understandable, but it had not even been ordered. So there I was 3 days before I planned on having it installed and no torque converter to install it with(never use your old one). But the lady reassured me that if I bought my own I would be reimbursed the total cost and at that time I had also noticed on there other website got all parts the transmission i ordered was $100 less then the atransmission website and inquired about a price match. after a brief 10 min hold they agreed to the price match. After I purchased the torque convert and sent them a copy of the receipt I was fully refunded the cost of the part plus the price match a total of $242.93 on Dec 4 2019.
The transmission has been installed and shifts smooth and so far runs great. I also added a transmission cooler in line with the radiator cooler to aid in cooling the trans on long hauls . I plan in having my first long drive this sun Dec 8th 2019. Wish me luck...
I would not hesitate to do business with them again they were in communication with me the whole process and never once left me hanging. They just need to add in the description hoe the torque converter ordering works so people know in advance.

I had my transmission fail in my 2008 dodge ram a 545RFE. I surched around and could get a high mileage transmission for the cost of a rebuild from atransmission. It's been 2 months now and running strong

I have been a self-employed business owner for over 30 years. I can honestly say this is one of the worse companies I have ever done business with. I was lied to from day one and every time I called to ask about the status of my transmission I was lied to again. After wasting 60 days, I had to contact my credit card to get a refund. Don't waste your time and money with these jokers.

I ordered a popular rebuilt transmission in September. Because of high demand it took longer than I hoped to receive it. The customer service was great though and Kevin was available for questions along the way. I would buy from A Transmission again. Thanks!

I ordered my transmission on October 23rd. I was told it would take 7 business days...it is now Nov 25th. Has not even shipped. Very disappointed and I will not recommend this company to any one at all
