Best OS Customizatsion

I use AtlasOS for about 1,5 years. And i can tell, that that customizatsion for your os is the gratest option for mid-low range PC's. It can boost your perfomance :)

I’ve been using AtlasOS for maybe a little over a year now, I’ve noticed pretty good performance increases and definitely less ram and cpu usage. I really like AtlasOS and I think it’s the best optimization you can use at the current point in time.

It shuts down services windows depends on

i installed atlas os yesterday and this morning I booted my PC and it said that my pin wasn't available and to setup it again. and after I clicked setup my pin it said Group Policy service(gpsvc) failed the sign in, please consult system adiminstrator.

I asked the discord community for help and they said to read again their documentation. How is that going to help? My PC is bricked and I need to read documentation?

And the problem was they disabling Windows Hello and not specifying it in the documentation. and the gpsvc issue was even dumber. why would you disable their policy service. without it enabled Microsoft thinks that I violated thei TOS. attest document yourself before disabling, again not specifying that gpsvc was disabled in the documentation.

and about the performance part is even more of an lie. they said that the processes will go from 150 to 63. guess what happend, it was from 145 to 140. but not only the CPU was not being optimised, also the ram usage. they said on their website that my ram will go from 4.4 gb on idle to 2.2. but it actually increased, it got from 4.3 to 4.6.

overall don't install it. it won't help with fps an performance in general. only if you want an destroyed windows.

Hi Andrei,

We appreciate your feedback, but the claims you've made are incorrect. AtlasOS does not disable the Group Policy Service (GPSVC), and Windows Hello is not disabled either. If you're experiencing issues with your PIN or login, it's likely due to an incorrect installation or modifications from an unofficial source rather than AtlasOS itself.

Regarding performance, our listed improvements are based on benchmarked results. If you didn’t see the expected changes, it’s highly likely that you are not running an official installation of AtlasOS or that other system factors, such as background applications, are affecting your performance.

Our Discord community and documentation exist to help users troubleshoot issues effectively. Reading the documentation is the single driving factor of our open-source and technically dependant project, without reading it will end up in a pre-mature installation of AtlasOS.

Way better than Stock Windows And "Other OS"

The overall system response time is faster and some of the UI changes are a plus for productivity . System fully debloated and its easy to restore anything you have removed and without any issues like others tools .
Tested with 5 different antivirus and they report it clean . Have not encounter any suspicious connections with GlassWire or any CMD silent runs so AtlasOS seems clean. If you like me are so exhausted from debloating and trying to have some privacy in windows you can give it a try .

Never had my computers been this performant!

I have been following Windows major changes since Windows 10 was in beta. I've been a Windows Insider for years. When I had enough of seeing bloat and unnecessary services, drivers and bloatware slow down my machine, I've installed AtlasOS.
It's now been a year and never had my computers been this stable and performant.
I thank all the team for this incredible work. Keep it up!
