Update: customer service reached out and agreed to top up back to the original value so didn’t need to do a second transfer.

Original: Apparently the money didn’t arrive in their uk bank quick enough (despite doing bank transfer straight away) which meant they changed the rate (didn’t ask me if I still want to go ahead at the lower rate) so had to do another transfer to make up the £7 shortfall due to rate change. Won’t be using again, in hindsight should have just stuck with Wise as would have worked out cheaper in the end.

Cheapest rate on the market for Euro to £. If you need to do this currency transaction regularly Atlantic Money works like a charm. I didn't have any trouble with the know your customer paperwork. They do what they say and they do it cheap. There is a slow transfer and fast transfer choice. The faster option is slightly more expansive but still incredibly competitive.

The very best: 3€ flat charge. Proven. Much better than Wise. Unbeatable.

for small amounts it's ok, incredibly slow and boring for slightly larger amounts over a few k - they make it so hard to be able to use the service. I'll look for a direct alternative

The rolling amounts are not true either - after two transactions, they ask for additional info or you can‘t do anything. They are incredibly annoying compared to any other service in verifying - they keep asking for more info- you provide all documents ie names, relationship to person etc and a day later you get more questions. This has been going on for days; it‘s like they dont want you to get verified bc it‘s not profitable enough or smth. At some point for me they told me to contact them via chat - the wait time was 1-2 hours😂 when they came back they randomly increased to around 80% of account shown per year without comment - which was far off from what they advertise. After that you are supposed to prove any additional penny.

You also randomly chat to someone via imessage who is not helpful and rather rude. When trying to make my case they simply blocked the account - stay as far away as you can.

I needed to prove the source of income for an outstanding urgent transfer. Customer service followed up all my needs using whatsapp chat. It was VERY effective and VERY quick. And the currency exchange rate was VERY good! Honestly, exceptional customer service !

Was sceptical and worried after sending bank transfers euros to pounds via Atlantic , but customer services were great in reassuring me about the process and then the money came into my bank, sometimes longer than I thought which made me anxious, did I put in the correct account numbers/ codes etc ? Pleased to say Atlantic works well and great rates too, will be using again , thanks

I have been telling all of my friends about Atlantic Money and all of them use it now, the most fantastic service out there and best price for large money transfers/exchanges (above €1,000). Nobody else on the market had nailed the large transfer market because though Wise is great they charge a percentage fee which gets incredibly high the larger the amount of the transfer. I am an incredibly satisfied user of their super simple app and great customer service over WhatsApp. Now I only use Wise for my USD to EUR exchanges (and Atlantic Money for EUR to USD) but once Atlantic Money launches USD to EUR then I will completely ditch Wise.

Atlantic Money is brilliant. I like to wait for the best possible exchange rate to come up on the app and then I press that button. Simple as that (and kinda fun too).

I recommend this service in the strongest terms. It just works. No fuss, no hassle.

I understand it feels a bit daunting at first as you need to send your money to another country but in the end you are using a service that is fully approved and regulated by the FCA. It's safe as milk (well as long as you are not lactose intolerant).

I want to commend the customer service team for answering my questions via whatsapp and giving me the peace of mind I needed.

Atlantic Money is fantastic! They completely blow out the major banks on how they are charging so much for money transfers, thank you so much Atlantic money. Their system is slightly different so read their instructions however straightforward, secure and works.

I use Atlantic Money for large and small transactions, the exchange rates are great, fees for instant transfers very reasonable, when they say instant the money flow is instant and the process and system is exceptional, top quality, highly recommended.

I used atlantic money 11 times exchanging Euro to GBP and GBP to USD. Every transaction was like clockwork. I always was informed about every step of my transactions. Best exchange rate and fees I found online. Will use them again.

Fantastic - nearly as good as Wise but much cheaper. I had to transfer a large EUR sum to GBP recently and used Atantic Money, Wise and Currencies Direct to do it in stages - so it was a great opportunity to compare all 3. I would recommend all 3, but Atlantic Money were my favoured one down simply to price and ease of using the app. Only irritation was that at times the express service was not available for the amount I wanted (sometimes it was very low for a number of hours/all day) - which is why I reverted to Wise at these times. The fx rate was the same as Wise, but the difference was the fee (0.01% for express with Atlantic with Wise being 0.05% for similar service - so x5 the price). I also used the standard service - and if you are doing regular/smaller amounts and are not in a major rush then Atlantic Money blows Wise away.

Reliable, economical, easy to use way to make international transfers in US$. Reasonable exchange rate Euro to USD, only a small fixed transfer fee. Highly recommended.

I have noticed a lot of people complaining about the referrals not being honoured, here on Trust Pilot reviews, but the copy paste answer states "fair use", but you do not explain or show where "fair use" is defined.

Also, I see that a lot of currencies are not yet available using your service, so while I wait for that currency to appear, can't I use the referral link for others who might use the app for other currencies while I do not?

Also, the app gives several errors at different stages of its use, without a proper message to understand what happened.

LATER EDIT: after your reply here... why do you not clarify here publicly the referral issues? It is really annoying to see vague and copy-paste answers , I do not think it is good for me to email privately when these are public complaints

Great price if you’re not in a hurry, very convenient for regular transfers without hassle, highly recommended.

Absolutely brilliant. Real value for money service avoiding all the various rip offs around. I went through the additional money laundering, its no hassle, its a part of life these days and hopefully stops some scum bags using it. Thanks for setting this up.

Wish I'd known about this app a long time ago. Been losing thousands to TransferWise's crappy service every year. But unfortunately Wise got away with lying about exchange rates of competitors so I always assumed I was getting the best deal.

fairly simple to setup on the App, i did have a few questions and contacted them on whats app and the response was prompt, initially i transferred a small amount and it arrived at the destination bank 1 day earlier than expected. All at the agreed mid market rate, and only GBP3, so far so good and i will continue to use
