Its browser-based platform turns ideas into ready-to-publish content in seconds, bringing recording, AI generation, editing, and publishing into one cohesive environment - no tool-switching required. Async doesn't stop at creation - it's built to help content scale. Subtitles, translation, dubbing, reframing, eye contact correction, AI avatars, and short-form clipping are all part of the same system, making it easy to adapt content for any platform. And with the Engagement Booster, every piece is optimized to maximize performance. Millions of creators and businesses already rely on Async. By combining 100+ advanced AI generative models with a unified, prompt-driven workflow, Async makes high-quality content creation faster, more accessible, and ready to scale with the demands of modern creators.

Piece of junk. Lagging. Tools don't work as promised "magic dust" keeps failing on small clips, even a basic function like merging edited segments doesn't work. The CS is fairly responsive but they never solve the issue.

I understand that it's normal with technology that not everything is controlable. I had problem getting my recordings from the online platform. The Customer service crew resolved quickly my problem by giving me great guidance, advice to ensure the problem does not come up again, polite, timely and great customer service. Thanks to Helen and George for their support.

If i could leave 0 stars i would!!!! THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. I started a free trial and then a few days later i get charged almost $300. I reached out immediately once i noticed the charge on my account. They took 3 days to respond to tell me no they cant refund. I wrote several emails and they kept saying no they cant refund cause it's their "policy" This is something i never even used or wanted to use. DO NOT TRUST THEM !!!!! They have no ethics!

Podcastle has been a game-changer for my podcast.
The audio quality, editing tools, and AI features make the entire production process faster and smoother. Being able to record, edit, and publish in one place has saved me hours every week. Highly recommend it to any creator who wants a simple, powerful platform.

I had used podcastle for a few years and it has its issues, but overall was the best tool for cleaning and editing my audios.
In July they offered me a deal if I bought 12 months rather than the monthly subscription I had been paying. I bought the 12 month package. I hadn't used it for a month or so and when I came back to it today it was locked. They had changed the storage limits after I had paid for it. I was over the limit and couldn't use it until I had paid for an upgrade.
This is underhand, unethical and outright dishonest to change the product months after it has been bought and paid for. I am very unhappy indeed. An ai bot got back to me when I complained and said it undertood that I must be frustrated. Damn right I'm frustrated! Furious more like!!!
I have checked and this is illegal in the UK. They changed the storage from 40GB to 5GB without my consent meaning I could not use the platform until I had given them more money. I call that commercial terrorism.
I have never encountered such stubborn and unhelpful customer service reps. I think they are probably bots. It is illegal in the UK, but I don't have time to fight it. I will be changing supplier as soon as I have time to research the alternatives. BEWARE!

They have great customer service. Replied to my support email so fast and resolved the issue immediately.

Unsure whether I had an active subscription so I checked my account to confirm that I indeed have a "basic" free account.
However I was charged for an additional 3 months and when queried it turned out an "essentials" subscription was hidden in a separate workspace, almost impossible to find, that I did not set up.
I've raised this with the company, pointed out how deceptive the UX is, as well as the fact that my account has been inactive for those three months and they have refused to do anything.
There is no reason whatsoever for creating separate workspaces without telling you and hiding your subscription status in there, beyond making it hard to cancel.
Would strongly, strongly advise people against using a company who engages in such sneaky practices, who in their email back to me recognise how confusing this is but refuse to do the right thing and refund the charges.

Wonderful service. Easy system to use, with some pretty great features. I am new to editing and it is a breeze to figure out. I did have an issue where I got locked out of my email associated with my account. I reached out to the PodCastle support team and they were able to recover my PodCastle account and update my email very quickly. They were honestly so nice. I highly recommend PodCastle.

I’ve been using Podcastle for a while ! and I really like how simple and easy it is to record and edit my audio. The tools are clear, fast, and very beginner-friendly. It makes my workflow much easier and saves me a lot of time.
Overall, I’m very happy with the experience!

This is a scam company only after your money stay well away unless you have money to throw away!!! Disgusting customer service

PodCastle has been incredibly helpful every time I’ve had a tech issue or needed support—they’ve even helped me recover videos when something went wrong. Their team is always responsive, attentive, and genuinely cares about improving the product based on customer feedback. I’ve seen them upgrade features in real time when I’ve had questions about the AI editing, which is rare and so appreciated. I feel fully supported using their platform and see myself being a long-term customer.

I went to try the free 7-day plan and customarily entered my paypal details. They charged me with a pro-plan right away in a way that seems almost trickery. Still, they contacted me the day after to issue a full refund. The experience was not great, but for me if you have a very reactive customer service, that's where the money should go! Thank you Podcastle.

The AI tool does not work. I was told to clear my cookies, cut off extensions, close my browsers, and turn off my VPN. They are slow in responding, and I just got the service. AVOID!

Podcastle is very user-friendly and easy to use if you're a diy person as I am. It's very intuitive and easy to manage and still make your track sound like it is done professionally.
Many apps confuse first-time users, and in my experience Podcastle doesn't do that. And I did over 20 episodes on it. Also, for me it is great price range and it includes enough tools to make my episodes better. All in all, you'll find everything you need to make your podcasts sound amazing.

I have been a loyal customer and supporter of Podcastle for five months. In fact, I previously wrote two glowing reviews praising their innovation, reliability, and commitment to creators. Unfortunately, the company I once trusted has taken a drastic and alarming turn, and I now feel compelled to warn others.
After paying for a full year of service—which clearly included 10 hours of recording time per month—Podcastle unilaterally reduced my allowance to just 2 hours per month, offering no meaningful explanation except that they have “introduced new AI tools.” What they are not transparent about is that these “new tools” are simply a justification to push users into more expensive plans. This is not just an inconvenience—it is deceptive and unethical. I paid for a specific product, and they changed the terms after the fact.
To make matters worse, I have also faced serious issues with storage. Despite deleting almost everything, my available storage has not updated or reset. I reached out to customer support multiple times, only to receive generic guidance that I had already followed—which didn't solve anything. No escalation. No accountability. No resolution.
When I visited their Discord community, I saw dozens of users facing the same issues, all of which were being ignored. One user even commented that it feels like Podcastle is deliberately restricting access to force people into upgrading. Based on my experience, I fully agree.
This is not the company I once believed in. Their recent actions show a blatant disregard for customer trust, fairness, and professional integrity. They changed the terms of my subscription without consent, provided no meaningful support, and ignored community concerns. It feels exploitative and completely unacceptable.
In summary, Podcastle:
Reduced my paid features without consent
Pushing users toward higher plans through forced limitations
The storage system is broken, with no real support
Customers are being ignored in the community
A complete reversal from the values they once claimed to stand for
I am deeply disappointed and feel taken advantage of. I can no longer recommend Podcastle to anyone until they correct these predatory practices and restore the features that paying customers were promised.
Creators deserve respect—not manipulation.

Their website has been down for us for a couple months now... so I have not been able to use it, cancel or remove my card. But, they still collected money from our account. money that we would like back ASAP. Check your inbox!!!

The shittiest company ever. Doesn't reply, prompts you to move your project to a workspace where you have to pay another monthly fee for the same thing.

I've been with podcastle a few years and they used to be great. The editing is so easy, which is what I use it for.
The AI tools don't work for me at all, but I didn't really need them anyway.
My biggest issue is the dishonesty. The prices have kept jumping up significantly, while they are putting more and more limits on what we can use.
They had a big sale in July so I hesitantly paid for a year's subscription to try and manage the rising costs, however only three months in and there have been so many bugs and glitches that customer service doesn't seem to care too much about.
They've also changed the storage limit from 30GB+ (I don't know how much, but I had used 30GB with no issue) to 5 GB.
I emailed, saying that I had paid for the year expecting the limits to stay the same, and I was told they'd changed the limits because they'd added in more AI tools (Which don't work). I was given a small discount code to subscribe to the higher tier.
There is also no easy way to delete files. I asked for help as it was going to take hours to go through and delete every individual recording, and they said there was nothing they could do. Seems like a way to get people to spend more to save time when they could easily pop in a "select" tool to easier delete recordings.
I'm so angry that I gave podcastle so much money, but as soon as my year is up, I will be going elsewhere.

Atrocious service, very buggy, full of AI tools that don't work.
Worst is, when it comes to exporting your file, the service will just freeze and never full render it. Despite trying on multiple different devices and browsers was unable to export the project I'd spent hours in time for a deadline. Avoid at all costs

The service did what I needed it to.
However, they gave me a free subscription for one week and then charged me for an entire year. I couldn't cancel my subscription because I didn't have access to my computer and it won't let me login from my phone.
I tried to talk to a human about this, but all I got were bots.
Very scammy.
