This place scams people. My mum bought a car from here and after a check from her own mechanic, he deemed that the car should not have passed its MOT. Faults found included a major fuel leak, oil leak and rust underneath that had been painted over. She part-exchanged her old car which they had apparently already sold 2 days later.
My mum requested a refunded well within the 30 day window and now Assured Cars Scotland are completely ignoring any attempt to contact. The after sales team hung up on her the other morning. They now have the car so their own mechanics can ‘look it over’ and have had it for 3 weeks with no update. My mum is down 2 cars and thousands of pounds because of these scammers. Do not use

Bought my car for a great price.
All staff were great with me and the best part was not feeling like I was being lied to or forced into buying a car.
Felt like a really friendly atmosphere.
My car is still running perfect and I've even recently returned to buy my girlfriend a new car whishe was over the moon with.
And the aftercare was tremendous.
Honestly felt like I was in safe hands with people that cared about there business. 5 star experience for me. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for there next car.

Paid a fare price for a car that was supposedly the machnics old car that had been well cared for (I even paid the money into a private account not the business account which I found strange). The problems started a week after purchasing. It was advertised that the car came with 2 keys I rang several times to ask for them to post the key, as it's a 4h drive to there premises. Iwas promised a return call each time but never got one. Then the service light came on after I was told it was recently serviced and the lights started to fog up internally. When I popped the hood and looked, one light had gaffer tape instead of the light cap, the other side had the cap with a small silicone bag sellotaped to the inside! Now I know why they wet the car on my arrival pretending it had been washed ready for me! To replace these lights involves removing the the bumper and is a very expensive do.The service light was on because all 4 glowplugs, yes 4 due the the car type needed replacing at £150 each! Apparently this comes under wear and tear which is not covered but the 6 months cover included in the sale, which is also not worth the paper it's written on quite frankly. I decided to get a full service as now I started to doubt if it had been done at all, to which more minor bodges were found. I'm a few weeks in now and more than 1.5 k down due to lies, negligence and possibly fraud. Don't touch them with a barge pole, they must have laughed at me as I drove away that day. I may not know a lot about cars, but I'm a dab hand on the internet. I have all proof on request just ask.

I had a great experience buying my car from Assured Cars Scotland. From the moment I arrived, everyone was friendly, helpful, and made me feel comfortable—no pushy sales tactics at all. They answered all my questions, took the time to explain everything, and made the whole process easy and stress-free. The car was exactly as described, super clean, and priced fairly. I left feeling confident and happy with my purchase. I’d happily recommend them to friends and family.

Initially all was good, I dealt with John however after I purchased the van and got it home things went downhill. A few problems came to light and it took them over 2 weeks to rectify it. John kept backtracking what was said/arranged and I had to constantly chase him up. Then after coming out the garage after 3 days it was still faulty (they had also left a spare part which was ordered from ebay in the back). Aftersales team were rude and had me in tears. The van needed to go back in for a second time for the same fault, Charlie helped organised this and she was very helpful. However when it came back out the bumper wasn't connected properly, I txt pictures and asked someone to contact me however they read the message and no one did. I've e-mailed 3 times and only the 3rd time did I get a reply. The aftersales team are shocking, no one can give me a managers name (no one seems to know who they report to) to escalate the issues to. All smiles while taking your money but VERY POOR aftercare.

Excellent customer service. Charlie is lovely and communication is fantastic. I arranged a viewing, went for a test drive and love the car, so bought it and all done within an hour. A management light came on after a few days and Assured cars have been brilliant, took the car back to fix and kept my updated constantly. Really good family run garage. Would highly recommend.
