Lots of miscommunication during renewal.
I have regular coverage for my esthetics practice and AMI coverage for my tattoo business. Since they are two companies and each branch covers different things they don't speak to each other very well. I get notices from ASCP about lack of payment for AMI. When I click on the link, it shows that I have already paid. When I send proof of payment to ASCP, I hear nothing back. It's extremely frustrating. There needs to be changes in the future. Also, ASCP does monthly payments and it auto renews AMI does quarterly payments and does not auto renew.

I enrolled in the insurance around June 14 or 15th, and I still have not received my certificate or any other information. I've called two times for them to send it out again they keep saying they've sent it out and I still have not received the information so it really does put a bad taste in my mouth.

Your Certificate of Insurance (COI) is available online at any time through your account, so you can access and download it whenever you need it. Physical copies sent by mail can take up to two weeks to arrive.

Getting ASCP was a no-brainer
I have been using ASCP ever since I became an esthetician in 2012. I had been using ABMP since a massage student in 2008 with no issues at all, so using ASCP was a no-brainer. The process to get insured is very easy and every person that I have spoken to has been very patient and professional. Will continue to use ASCP!
