Great event, ran really well, fun, creative, pretty much 50/50 male female. Would go again!
It’s not your regular go to dating event. It’s fun, engaging and a room full of delightful people. Recommended for singles who are looking for a fun way to meet people
The drawing idea is a fun concept but I thought it was dissapointing that every prompt was drawing the other person. Its hard to draw them if they are looking down ALSO drawing. It's also way too loud to talk which makes conversation awkward and none of us could understand the organisers when they announced a new challenge, maybe signs would be good or its already on the paper to be revealed? I went to one at a gay bar which obviously meant a queer audience but there was no consideration made for sexuality match ups, not an easy thing to execute perfectly but maybe that could be improved.
Fabulous event for meeting new people.
I attended a queer Sketch & Speed Date event, hosted at the Dalston Superstore and throughly enjoyed myself.
The organisers were wonderful and ethusiastic throughout. The concept of sketch and speed date gave completely different ice breakers to other speed dating events I have tried, allowing for a more organic conversation to strike up.
Truly cannot recommend this enough as a change of pace for anyone looking to meet new people.
I really had a great time meeting a range of new people and sketching (or attempting to sketch) to fun prompts that really let you get to know your partner. Favourite way to spend an evening!
I had so much fun at art dating club!! The hosts Jannah and Isabella made me feel so comfortable and the prompts were super fun :)
Had a great time! The hosts are super cool, well run event, great crowd and venue
Great logistics, nice space to have a different night in London with a artsy twist.
This was my 1st experience with Speed dating and I already think this is the best way to do it. Having the art aspect of it instantly breaks the Ice.
This was a really interesting experience, I’d never tried speed dating before, but art seemed like a great ice breaker for it. And I wasn’t disappointed, it was a great night and would gladly go again. Can’t recommend this enough 👌👌
Was a really good time, managed to talk to a lot of different people. Not able to draw in the slightest but still managed to create some stuff. The prompts was really creative too and definitely enabled me to ask more questions about the other person.
Would definitely go again
Something truly different — unique, full of energy, and packed with fun. Great vibes all around!
Highly recommend giving it a try — I’m confident you won’t be disappointed.
What a great event really fun an enjoyable met so many lovly ladies. The activities Isobella and Jannah created was out of this world I felt so homely and relaxed. Highly recommended
I had a great experience with Arts Dating Club. It’s such a refreshing idea to do something creative together it takes the pressure off and makes it easier to get to know people naturally, even in a speed-dating setting. I also loved the thoughtful prompts, which made conversations more engaging.
The post-event is also a lovely chance to either make new friends or continue connecting with someone you’re interested in!
