Warning, read post before making decision done!

We flew all the way from Southern California to Turkey, believing it would be cheaper for surgery. I underwent gastric balloon surgery, which included all the necessary packages. They advertised it as one of the most risk-free surgeries, and very successful losing some weight, so we chose this option.
However, after a 14-hour flight each way for the procedure, I experienced severe vomiting and stomach aches during the FIRST WEEK and lost about 5 pounds.

From that point on, I dealt with SEVERE GAS and diarrhea for several months.
By the end of six months, I had only LOST 2 POUNDS in TOTAL. We had to come back for a stomach removal surgery and unexpectedly increased the cost from $400 to $600 per person, claiming the program had changed.
Overall, I spent $12.000 ( surgery and round flight ) and for LOSING 2 POUNDS , they charged me an additional $200

Please do not be misled by FALSE advertisements.
Do your research before deciding on a procedure. I don’t want anyone else to go through what I did and so much money for such minimal results by false advertisement!!!!

I want to leave a review to help those wondering if choosing Dr Serhan Derin is the right choice. Rest assured, you are in very skilled and caring hands. I am 4 months post op and am feeling very grateful and very happy about my results. After surgery, do not worry, Dr Mohamed will help answer any questions you have about your post op journey. He has made himself available all times of the day, any day of the week. Remember, everyone’s healing is different, so you may have many questions. He will have the answer. He is very patient, kind, and understanding. He has held my hand throughout my healing journey, and without him, I would not be doing what is best for the healing of my nose. After the long awaited decision to get a rhinoplasty, traveling, and money spent, I want to get the best possible result. Thank you, Dr. Mohamed!

I had surgery on October 24th, and before choosing Dr. Serhan, I reached out to friends from Istanbul for recommendations on the best surgeon. My procedure wasn’t only for appearance; I also had issues with breathing on my right side, so finding a highly skilled doctor was essential.

If you're looking for a doctor who truly knows his work, Dr. Serhan is absolutely the right choice. He is a highly skilled specialist who listens carefully and takes all your wishes for your nose into account. I couldn't be happier with the results; my nose looks very natural, which was incredibly important to me.

The staff was also wonderful. Post-op consultant Bahar was incredibly kind and helpful, assisting me with anything I needed. I could always reach out to Bahar, Selen, or the medical staff at the hotel for anything I needed, which made the entire process much easier.

The clinic was spotless and professionally managed. There’s really nothing negative I can say. Thank you so much to Dr. Serhan and the whole team for their help and kindness!

I completed a review about Arpanu, just after surgery and the service and care was fantastic. This post is to highlight the amazing aftercare I have had in the last year. I am 12 months post op today and am so grateful for the help and support from Dr Muhammed and Dietitian Selvi and Dietitian Doğa who are in a WhatsApp group with me. They have been there for help and support whenever I needed them and have stayed in contact and tracked my progress! Amazing service and support! Thank you!!

Dr Serhan is a consummate professional and it's clear he loves his work. Dr Serhan has a calm presence and listens attentatively to ones requests and offers feedback to consider. The whole package was very well arranged from booking with Diana to the hotel accommodation and the surgery.

Dr. Gökhan Mersinlioğlu, Dr. Mohammed and the whole surgery team was excellent. I had a great experience from the beginning with my medical advisor Simge keeping in contact with me and arranging all my transportation and hotel accommodations. Robert Isaaq was very helpful assisting me with translations and guiding me through the hospital to get me lab work done. I felt safe and the hospital was beautiful. Surgery went very well and I am healing wonderfully.

My experience with Arpanu has been extremely satisfying! From booking my surgery with the wonderful Simge who answered all my questions to the accommodations like the beautiful hotel and transportation everywhere to the surgery itself and also the wonderful post op follow up! Dr Gökhan is a brilliant surgeon who was honest about my starting point (broken and completely botched nose with no support) and he told me what needed to be done in order to help me fix my issue. Cartilage from my ribs were needed as my case was very complex. He was confident and I felt very safe undergoing surgery in his hands. I had zero pain in my face afterwards, but felt a little sting in my ribs only a few days after surgery. The cast removal with Dr Gökhan was a very exciting day! Finally, I got to see glimpse of how gorgeous my nose was turning out. The post op follow up with Dr Mohamed made me assured I was still in great hands as he gave me advice and answered all my questions as they popped up. He wants me to keep him posted on my recovery and I still send him and Dr Gökhan post op pictures for feedback. Today, 7 months post op, my nose has its support, it fits my petite face perfectly and I couldn't be happier! Just to think that it is still in recovery makes me feel extremely good! It keeps getting smaller and smaller every day, and did I mention how wonderful it feels to be able to breathe properly? I had no idea breathing was an issue until after my surgery and I noticed a world of difference! Thank you Dr Gökhan, Dr Mohamed and Arpanu for everything!

I booked my gastric sleeve surgery through Arpanu Clinic and had a brilliant experience. The client coordinator was available constantly via WhatsApp and answered all questions I had. She went above and beyond! I highly recommend booking through Arpanu Clinic.

I don’t recommend this agency and Serhan Derin because he can be deceptive. I sent inspiration photo to his assistant before my first nose surgery and was assured similar shape would be achieved, which was the result I paid for. My first surgery in March 2023 resulted in a completely different shape. He did changes to my nose without my knowledge and consent, such as very sharp nose tip, too thin bridge, and uneven nostrils, even though I wanted a rounded nose tip as shown in the inspiration photo. I got the complete opposite of what I wanted. Making changes without the patients consent is a very serious violation of medical ethics.

Despite my concerns, and the very severe harm caused, the issue was blamed on swelling even 7 months post-op. His assistant referred to my nose shape as "initial appearance," claiming it was too swollen and would change over time, even though it was 7 months after surgery. So that clearly seemed to be deceptive communication, intended to silence me to avoid responsibility.

After lots of effort and mentioning legal action, he accepted revision.
The outcome of the second surgery which was in February also failed to meet my expectations. The nosebridge was curved instead of straight, which wasn’t what was shown in the inspiration photo. The nostrils are still uneven, and the tip is still not quite as I wanted. Overall, the shape does not resemble the inspiration photo.

Based on my experience, due to his failure to deliver agreed-upon results and lack of accountability, I advise against choosing him.

Amazing, never been more satisfied with their support. They have always supported me through they journey. If i had any problems, they would solve it directly. They also answers super quickly and gives me that information i am asking about. They are super kind and friendly. They have a whole program that will help you through the journey. It has been 8 months and they until now contact me to see how everything is going. Thank you dr Muhammed, dietitian Selvi and dietitian Dôga. Would 100% recommend them!

Great medical care and procedures as well as customer service from arrival in Istanbul till departure. We did some dental work and plastic surgery. Both very well executed. Facilities first class. Full recommended

I'd be really careful with this company. The agent I spoke to was really reluctant to talk about client rights and protections. I specifically spent a really long time trying to get an answer to the question, what happens if something goes wrong or the results aren't what was agreed. In the end she told me to go somewhere else because she didn't want to answer my questions.

I booked my breast reduction surgery through Arpanu and honestly I had the best experience. Everything seemed so easy and straight forward, transfers, hotel and interpreters all booked for me hassle free. I can’t thank them enough for finding the best surgeon for my procedure. The communication before and during my stay was so efficient. I had a nurse in the hotel for any dressing changes and an agent on hand on WhatsApp for any advice. Cannot fault the experience at all. Special mention for Yetkin Dal who I consulted with through WhatsApp and arranged this whole experience for me.
