Ineffective diffuser, non-existent customer service
I ordered the 'S4 ScentGlide Sliver Waterless Diffuser With Fragrance For Him'. The diffuser 'worked' for a short time, less than 2 weeks. Now, it only works periodically and stops releasing the oil vapour even though the device is powered on. I can switch it on and come back in the room sometime later only to notice there is no scent because the nozzle isn't releasing any spray. I suspect the plastic tube connected to the nozzle inside becomes blocked with oil or trapped air which would suggest a major design flaw. Or it's simply defective. I'm not using any thick oils either, only citrus and lavender.
Also, during times when the device has worked, it leaks considerably and leaves a puddle of oil on top of the device resulting a waste of expensive essential oil.
The device came with a set of 3 'fragrances for him'. which are all very similar and and foul-smelling. They resemble cheap men's cologne and don't smell like essential oil scents, contrary to the description on the website.
I've emailed the company twice about these issues and had zero response. I also attempted to register a warranty shortly after my purchase via the website. I received no reply or acknowledgement for this either.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods supplied must be of satisfactory quality, be fit for purpose and match their description. Unfortunately the device I purchased is poor quality and does not work as intended.
Furthermore, I discovered that Amazon UK sells the identical same model (under a different brand) for almost half the price compared to Aroma Haven.
I would not recommend this company or product at all. I have reached out by email for a refund but have so far been ignored. My order number is #1116.
