Great service, other companies are dreaming off

Geeting in contact with the Sales department was really easy, and the people there really helpful und responded mostly on the same day of the day after. I had a spcial technical questin and Armortek put a lot of effort in giving me the right answers and propose an alternative solution. They even give me an outlook on what comes next. After sales during delivery, there where some troubles with UPS and the cusoms declaration. Armortek helped me to sort things out, even it was not their fault. Great service, other companies are dreaming off.
The model kit istself is a high quality product and what I learned from other Armortek tankers, the models are reliable and robust.

Armortek power module bursting into flames

Armortek are suppliers of their own 1/6 scale all metal tank kits costing in the region of £5K plus extra costs of £2.7 K for the necessary motion packs .
I bought a kit back in March this year and later the Motion Packs.
I had almost completed my build and everything installed and working by radio control when the Power supply module deep inside the tank suddenly BURST INTO FLAMES…. It was not protected by any fuse or breaker. It left my shocked and traumatised. Results could have been catastrophic as it was in an upstairs room in my house.
Armortek have since advised all builders to disconnect their batteries and not use the faulty power modules and are sending out re-designed power modules .
They are gaining a reputation of failing to answer emails and customer service is going downhill rapidly .
Because I complained I was punished by being blocked from the Armortek Forum and my account de-activated and my user name not recognised . They cannot take criticism or act correctly on complaints .
Beware
