⭐ 1/5

⭐ 1/5 – Misleading delivery times and very poor communication

I had a very frustrating experience with Ariika Furniture (Cairo).

I ordered a recliner chair after being given an estimated delivery time of 2 weeks. After placing the order, I contacted customer support just to double-check everything — and only then did I discover, by chance, that the real delivery time was 75–90 days. This was never communicated clearly during the purchase process.

When I raised this issue and said I would cancel the order if it truly took 75 days (especially since I could order a similar chair from Amazon and receive it the next day), I was reassured that the chair would arrive at the beginning of January.

To be safe, I called again today to confirm — and shockingly, I was told again that the delivery would still take 75 days.

This back-and-forth, inconsistent information is extremely frustrating. Giving customers unrealistic delivery estimates and then changing the story later feels misleading and dishonest. If I hadn’t followed up myself, I would have been waiting for months without knowing the truth.

Very disappointing experience. I expected much better transparency and communication.

The worst customer service!

The worst customer service!
First, they charged me for premium shipping, nearly 500 EGP, despite my order totaling almost 10,000 EGP. Very odd and something I’ve never experienced before. Still, I went ahead expecting premium shipping to mean faster delivery within 3 to 5 working days at least.

Only after completing the payment did they inform me that the delivery would take 30 to 45 days, something that was never mentioned beforehand. In the end, my order, which included only bedsheets, a mattress topper, and towels (not furniture), took over two weeks to arrive, which is completely unreasonable given the so-called “premium” shipping fee.

Then came the refund issue. I returned one of the items and was told the refund would reflect in my account within 10 to 12 days. It’s now been almost a month, and every time I contact customer service, a different representative gives me a new date. No one is willing to provide proof of the transfer either.

For a company of this size, this level of service is completely unacceptable.

The worst experience ever

I made an order on 28 November 2024, they are too late, haven't received it until today 28 January 2025.
I called them and always the same reply "sorry, it will be delivered next week"
I couldn't even cancel the order because it prepaid. And they told me that i can't refund it.
Very very bad experience. The worst ever.

Don't use credit card

I ordered a small rug on 3 June which they said would take 3 weeks (to Australia - I paid $37 AUD shipping). It is 10 July and am still waiting. The tracking number (only provided when I asked them for it) takes me to a site where it says my rug went Cairo-Dubai-Sydney-Dubai-Sydney-Dubai-Singapore. Ridiculous. They are slow to respond to my queries and now they say that was a "mistake" and I must wait another 11 days. Goodness knows what address is on the item which seems to be bouncing all over the place. The shipping company (aramex) has not replied to my messages at all. Ariika haven't agreed to a refund and sadly I don't think I will ever receive my goods now. I would say to all prospective shoppers - don't shop with this business and don't shop with businesses that don't accept PayPal. At least with Paypal, you have a chance of sorting out a dispute.

So unprofessional

While their products might be good (they aren't cheap either) their customer service is terrible. especially if you have a refund for a product they didn't even have in stock or deliver. They have been wasting my time now for 2 months to give me back my money.

in short don't ever pay with a credit card if you buy from them. Just terrible
