He did a thorough review of our financial situation and we then made decisions based on his advice regarding our pensions. Aries provided a thorough review of my financial position and future lifestyle requirements before recommending any potential products or services that might be of interest and clearly explained what market options were available and the risks/benefits that applied to each.

Throughout this somewhat elongated stop-start review process, at no time did I feel under any pressure to make decisions without careful consideration of the options being given. However, when and if market conditions indicated a speedy decision was necessary, Aries did make a point of highlighting this.

I decided, in my case, to proceed with an annuity to manage my ongoing pension requirements.

The annuity application process was completed very rapidly (much more quickly that many larger firms or institutions would suggest it would take) and I don’t doubt this was largely due to Aries experience and knowledge of the vagaries and operational foibles of the annuity and wider pensions marketplace.

Aries were able to predict potential bottlenecks/ issues in this process and either pre-empt or mitigate their impact with minimal input from myself once the application had been initiated. This was particularly important to me as my preceding pension arrangements were somewhat complex !

I will certainly be considering using Aries again for additional financial advice in the future and I would recommend them to anyone in a similar position.
