Won't Answer the Phone

Doesn't matter what store you ring in Ireland they never answer the phone. The 1800 number gets you a UK call center who are useless when it comes to the Irish shops.

Unbelievable

I wanted to buy a folding treadmill. First it wasn't in stock. Then it's now in stock but no delivery to my postcode. How the devil are we suppose to buy large items? It won't fit in my car. So like many other potential customers I will go elsewhere. ARGOS will cease to exist at this rate.

Rubbish

Never known anything like it. Never in stock for delivery or collect. Argos was great when we had our own stall. Not going to waist my time even looking on the site anymore. Will be shopping elsewhere.

Don't order anything for collection online.

Ordered an oculus quest 2 64gb from their Irish website. Never got a reservation number. Never got an order number. Just got an email saying thank you for your reservation.
Absolute joke.
Edit: it is a week past the original pick up date and I've still to get a reservation number. I called customer services and they said its because they didn't have any stock. So why have the option to reserve on a date and not have any stock?
This is a joke.

Rubbish! Everything you want is not available for home delivery at numerous postcodes and not available for collection in store so how the hell do you buy anything!!

Don't Deliver

I have been trying to purchase a corner TV unit at £275 but apparently Argos don't deliver to my address slap bang in the central belt of Scotland. If Argos is happy to lose out on this purchase then so be it. Tried Chat function which was less than useless.

Why is Argos Ireland so expensive

Why is Argos Ireland so expensive
Went to buy a hedge trimmers (Ryobi RPT4545M ) and checked out Argos Ireland and the price was 170euro and on other web sites prices are between 105 and 140 euro. Argos use to be so good with their prices but anymore.

Never in stock, no way to filter.

Like others here, I used to love Argos. Shop online, collect, done. I just don't use anymore now because most of what I'm looking for isn't in stock, not available for home delivery. On sale items, not available anywhere, and most frustratingly, no way to filter out of stock items. Even that small change might entice many back. Fed up being delighted to find an item in Argos then find out it's not in stock.. again...

On the website there is no filter for…

On the website there is no filter for in stock items only. Every item I’ve tried to buy the website takes you through the process to find out at the very end they don’t have it in stock. It’s annoyed me so much I just ignore anything advertised by Argos because they never have it in stock anyway.

I don’t want to see what you’re not selling.

Stupidest page ever

Stupidest page ever. Each item should be checked individually to see if it is available in your or closer town.

Always available... but never in your town.
Always available...but never for delivery..

Very rude staff in Castlebar

Best word to summarise Argos - disappointment

I used to love Argos and often rely on it. What has happened to it?? Recent searches for at least 10 items found only 1 of them in stock about 25 miles from home. Also, why do you have so many things advertised but NOT available for home delivery?
This used to be an occasional annoyance but now it's just the norm. I pretty much don't feature Argos as my go-to retailer, when it used to be near the top. Don't even waste your time looking - whatever you're looking for, the odds are they won't have it. They're obviously winding down and hoping no one will notice and panic. Rest in flat-pack peace Argos.

9 times out of 10 I get to the end of…

Always out of stock!

9 times out of 10 I get to the end of the order only to find the item is out of stock and not available for delivery. I used to use them all the time but they're terrible now.

What has happened to Argos

What has happened to Argos, the service was once ok, went with my father to help him lift heavy item he purchased, then staff member started shouting no two people at collection the desk, how do you expect a person to carry item on his own.

Never again, horrific service

Ordered garden furniture that was supposedly 'in stock' at the beginning of May. Have now eventually cancelled the order because after weeks of calling to see when it would arrive, I have been told that they won't even be able to say when it will be in stock until August at the earliest. So it was obviously never 'in stock' to begin with and apparently the ability to check when stock will arrive has been disabled due to Covid. Completely ridiculous. Staff were condescending on the phone and overall quite unpleasant to deal with.
