After initiating a ticket with arag and calling them 4 times I managed to get 5 mins on the phone with an advisor. If I was not part of a collective lay off to benefit from.the clarifications raised by other colleagues and would have been lerying on arag only I would.have missed the following: paid bonus and paid adv. In total 20 to 25 k. They simply advised.to.accept the severance as it was above minimum therefore indeed beneficial but they did not spend a.moment to scrutinise the company policies to maximise my reimbursement. I dont recommend them and I will stop with the once this is over.

Despite being a paying customer, the company is unwilling to help when needed. Save your money – putting it anywhere else would be better. This insurance is completely unreliable and does not provide the support it promises.

2 years ago i recieved the worst advice ftom Arag bywhich im still having trouble.
Arag gives almost no support when you need them. Everything takes so long. You need to call 100 times to ensure progress and all they think is to get rid of you instead standing beside you.
Its waste of money and time.

I had insurance with OHRA and previously filed a legal claim through DAS. The experience was quite positive — I received a call with legal advice within three days. I was surprised to learn that OHRA has since switched its legal service provider to ARAG. I submitted a claim, and after four days, I received an email stating that all further communication would be in Dutch. They also requested documents and an explanation that I had already included in my original claim. It felt like they had paid no attention to what I submitted — the response was completely unhelpful.

Very bad communication on their side and no support at all. I spent more than a year with them, only to find out that they will not be able to help or negotiate my case. Moreover, to finalize my case, I will be at a great loss even if it is successful! Despite all my questions, it was not communicated beforehand. This is something opposite of help and at my expense

ARAG is USELESS!!! You're paying for nothing. They do everything not to take the clear case against VVE. Asking all bunch of irrelevant questions to "assess" whether I am insured or not. I am cancelling the ARAG today.

I had a highly positive experience with ARAG, despite the long duration of legal processes in The Netherlands, which is more due to the backlog in the legal system than anything ARAG could control. From start to finish, ARAG provided exceptional support for my case.
Although my case was outsourced to a third party, both the initial lawyer and the second lawyer assigned to my case were outstanding. They stayed on top of every detail, communicated effectively, and ensured that all relevant information was presented to the court during the hearing. Thanks to their diligent efforts, we achieved the favorable outcome we had hoped for.
I have no negative experiences with ARAG whatsoever. As with any legal support, the quality of service can depend on the individual lawyers handling your case, and professional skills can vary. However, my experience with ARAG has been entirely positive, and their support was instrumental in navigating the complexities of the legal process.
Bunch of dishonest people who want to get things asap and not consider the client's best interest. Better to get FNV membership for work issues.
I'll make it short. I paid the most expensive personal insurance at Arag for more than three years. When I needed them they ended my contract and decided to stop answering emails for the case that was supposed to be covered by them. Absolute waste of money.

this company is literally unprofessional and don't do enough. made me only loose money . the lawyer don't know even what she is doing except making wrong decisions and making me loose money since last 2 years . everyother person and even other lawyers are now telling me they are not doing enough and they don't even know what they are doing . I suggest even if you are a victim and its proven don't go for help there . they will only make you loose money and make costs. totally waste of time.
We have had legal insurance for the last 10+ years and very rarely needed to use them. We used ARAG in different countries and they were very helpful in giving us guidance and general advice when purchasing property and other general legal matters, so we decided to use them here in the Netherlands.
Unfortunately, the experience we have had with ARAG here has been very very poor, to say the least. We have had more help from other legal sources that we haven't paid for than ARAG who we pay yearly.
The few times that we contact them, they give the impression that we are bothering them and they are doing us a favour.
The issues we contacted them for weren't complicated but since we are not lawyers or understand the legality of the situations we pay for advice and hope to be given options on the best way to approach a situation.
Unfortunately, to get any kind of assistance or guidance they first have to qualify whether your plan covers you for being able to talk to them. Once they qualify that you have paid them enough, they make you fill in forms to see if the matter warrants they time, and only then, they might contact you if they feel that it's worthwhile.
We have had to get help from other legal professionals because ARAG didn't bother contacting us or made it so hard that it was easier to approach other sources.
We tried to give them the benefit of the doubt the first couple of times but by the third time, that's when you know it's a company issue and not an individual issue.
I have never written a negative review in my life and prefer to be positive and give people the chance but when you are paying for services and not only are you not getting those services but they treat you with disrespect, arrogance and extreme rudeness, it's important to share with others. Please do your due diligence before using this provider.
Poor and slow service. Response time is very bad. Had to wait 2-3 weeks before I can get a response from a lawyer. If you want to lose than go to ARAG.
