AP STEM Academy Reviews 

My son has taken assistance from AP STEM Academy for multiple subjects. He worked with experienced and knowledgeable teachers and had a very positive experience throughout the academic year. The AP STEM Academy teachers were excellent and helped my son gain a strong understanding of his subjects and perform well in assignments and tests. We highly recommend AP STEM Academy!

My daughter, a freshman, took AP Physics 1. She required more time to adjust and attention than her peers. However, all her teachers were incredibly patient and understanding of her needs and circumstances. They were very helpful and supportive throughout the year. As a result, she performed exceptionally well on her AP test and excelled in her schoolwork. We will be back for AP physics C.

I highly recommend AP STEM Academy to all the parents. My son was not doing well when his school year started. I luckily found Matt and his academy. My son started doing very good in school.

We joined the AP Physics 1 course during the last month before the exam, and it made a substantial difference for my daughter. The class gave her structure, helped organize the material in a manageable way, and allowed her to review very efficiently in a short period of time.

Matt was extremely receptive, supportive, and made her feel comfortable right away, which helped reduce a lot of the stress surrounding the exam. The experience was so positive that we are already considering enrolling in the AP Chemistry course next year.

I would definitely recommend this program to students who need focused, organized AP preparation.

My daughter is taking AP Physics in her junior year (2025-2026). After starting in mid-September (late in the game), having her take the classes and getting one-on-one tutoring to help her catch up on Unit 1 foundations, she solidly turned around her B- first quarter grade to a high nineties (A) grade since December without looking back.

I found APStemAcademy on Instagram and like any of us parents seeing those shorts you have your doubts and I felt like it was going to be too much of a gamble. But with AP Physics, the key is foundational knowledge that the program addresses head on with instruction, availability of tutors to answer questions (sent by students via email) and a lot of attention. Unlike other programs that make you sign up to watch a pre-recorded video, Matt Schrader (the founder and operator) personally had a video call with me and my daughter on a Saturday and mapped out the options. Initially the catch-up was hard since we joined mid-September rather than from the beginning but the classes build foundation and the one-on-one tutoring (at reasonable rates) by the APStemAcademy teachers really got my daughter the foundational knowledge that has helped her. Her difficulty with the MCQs and FRQs suddenly were a thing of the past by late-November and early December. I realize every student is different but this is a program with teachers that provide customized care and you will get your money's worth if you want them to succeed. My daughter is not a STEM-oriented student (her passions lie with the humanities) but if your child is taking AP Physics because college admissions require students to challenge themselves and you want to make sure your child comes out the other side with a good grade (even in a class that might not be necessarily their thing), I would look to APStemAcademy. Our only regret is that we didn't join when the classes first began to give her a head start and she had to play catch up (but catch up she did and she is on course to getting a final A grade).
