The worst customer service

They asked for ad campaign funding money up front so I sent them $50. When I tried to create an ad using the Axon app, it was too difficult to understand and I ended up not creating any ad campaigns. I contacted their horrible customer service department on March 8th to get a refund of the ad money that I never spent. The initial response took 4 days and then they didn't do what they said and issue a refund. So, I filed a dispute with my bank and it is now two weeks later and I am still waiting on my refund. The app is terrible and their customer service is even worse. Do not use this company to run ads for you.

Frustrating

They never respect the time allocated for advertisement in game. You have to see a presentation prior to the 12 seconds, and the buttons have to be hit multiple times. Also some ads are misleading. I truly dislike their methods

Same as everyone is saying

Same as everyone is saying, I've been complaining to everyone for months now. From the App I use that lists their ads, to the company itself, to Google.

EVERY AD forces the load of play store to close the ad, Which is giving them redirected credits for the ad purchaser.

Utter scumbag company.

Utter scumbag company.

They're not showing ads, they're hijacking your phone forcing it to go to play store. I would never, ever, download an app that advertise through AppLovin.

Intentionally bad

The adds require clicking them to close them, artificially inflating CTR. This is not only endangering the user by redirecting them, it also scams the advertisers.

These are the worst ads ever and lead you around in a circle. I will not play my game until this bullshit is gone. WWF are you listening? Deserves a zero but that is not an option. I see that many many people agree with me.

Fraudulent Advertising Practices

Every single one of their ads automatically redirects to the Play Store page without clicking on them. It seems to be a deliberate design choice, and I would be willing to bet they're doing this to misrepresent their success metrics and lie to clients about how much traffic is actually being driven by their ads. Scummy at best, tangible and possibly prosecutable fraud at worst.

This company does not regard privacy in…

This company does not regard privacy in any way, and put their tools in developers hand without telling the developer what the impact is. Because of that a few of my favorite games are now ruined. If I shake my phone while playing the game, a stupid icon pops up with some dashboard that I keep accidentally clicking, and the developers say they don't know how to deactivate it, but apparently, whatever it does to them, they don't want to deactivate the feature either. Dear GOD, please make AppLovin go bankrupt.

The worst company for mobile game developers. They suspend your account randomly, without any notice. They keep all the earning from developer. Do not use applovin if you want to lose money, unity game developers.

Inappropriate advertisements endorsed and supplied by AppLovin.com

For a company that claims to “create a culture of excellence, camaraderie, and awesomeness.” AppLovin certainly does NOT live up to neither its name nor ethos. They promote advertisements that are fat shaming, pseudo psychology, fake news fear inducing and inappropriate for under 14s.
Equally, when you write a negative review about an APP it is never displayed and that is, 100%, false advertising. The language within these adverts are poorly translated or simply have not gone through any editorial process whatsoever based on the spelling mistakes and complete lack of grammar. What exactly are you teaching children and vulnerable adults who are forced to endure these advertisements or pay weekly for them to be removed?
These advertisements would not be allowed on television or radio so how on earth are they so readily available through AppLovin who are employed (?) through even bigger multi-billion pound / dollar companies.
Who exactly is monitoring these advertisements?
Who is to be held responsible and accountable for these disgraceful debacles?
Making a game based on “childhood trauma” and neurodiversity such as ADHD, ASD, PTSD is never ever fun or funny. How dare you! How dare you disrespect all the people who struggle on a daily basis to function due to medical conditions that they have no control over. What’s next… games for the blind or the deaf or amputees or alcoholics or drug addicts or perhaps games for people with cancer?
Where exactly do you draw the line, accept responsibility and actually do something based on the greater good rather than lining your pockets with other peoples money.
Why not make 2025 the year that you revolutionised app development and marketing and actually create a culture of excellence, camaraderie, and awesomeness. Just a thought!
