I got a good technician and came within 2 hours of booking the appointment. He was Russian, and wasn't super friendly, but did a good job. However, he charged me $320 for a LG Drain Pump that should... See more

Terrible customer service
Although my washer is working now, and their response time for service request was prompt, this is possibly top 3 in worst and most frustrating customer service I've ever experienced. It is a rarity for me to give a review but really felt I needed to share this. I emailed a number of times to request an invoice and receipt for a $540 repair service on my washer. No response. Called a couple of numbers provided online and in the "Rate your Service" emails and phone rings 4 times and line drops. I was unable to leave a message. However, I did get a call back a few minutes later, so obviously they are seeing the calls come in and have my contact info from my phone number showing up on their display. It will be interesting to see if I ever get the invoice and receipt. I DO NOT recommend this company on the basis of poor communication.
It's unfortunate for skilled repair persons to get painted with a negative brush.
I addition, I received a suspicious text from 507-556-8738 indicating that I have an appointment with Anastasiia Oharova this afternoon, but hadn't booked an appointment. Who are they selling my number to?

When I had questions regarding…scammers
When I had questions regarding invoicing and pricing I was unable to reach anyone and found several different phone numbers on the website. None of the numbers listed has VM or anyone answering, it just rang and went dead. After speaking to the callback person I was unable to get phone contact numbers or info for a manager. I then received a text from someone who would not identify themselves by name or what role they had in the company whom provided zero info to me, at the same time the tech started texting me asking me why I was contacting the company. In the end I got zero customer service or answers. These are scammers! Do not use them. They also buy 5 star Google reviews promising a $15 refund!
I scheduled a dryer repair with this…
I scheduled a dryer repair with this company on May 26, and the appointment was confirmed for May 28. I received a text around 2 PM that the technician was on the way, but he didn’t arrive until 4:15 PM. He showed up in a noticeably bad mood, asked me if I had any different tools to offer (which I found unprofessional), and spent about 13 minutes looking at the dryer before telling me I needed a vent cleaning — then charged me $147.
When my first card didn’t work, I told him I would use another one, and he responded, “I don’t have time for payment issues, I’ll be stuck in traffic,” which felt unnecessarily rude and rushed.
I later had the vent professionally cleaned, but the dryer issue persisted. When I called the company again, they said the technician would follow up. He did contact me and asked if I got the vent cleaned. When I said yes but didn’t have an invoice because I paid cash, he sarcastically responded, “I’m sure you never lied in your life.”
To make matters worse, my washer also started showing an error code, which I sent to him, and he completely ignored it.
I rely on a working washer and dryer because I care for my elderly mother who has incontinence issues. This situation has caused unnecessary stress, delays, and inconvenience. I’m extremely disappointed in the lack of professionalism and follow-through, and I would not recommend this company based on my experience
Scammers stay away from this fake…
Scammers stay away from this fake company. I disputed the charge on my credit card and was refunded. Any 5 star reviews on their fake website are also fake.
SCAMMERS
SCAMMERS. Do not use them. I reported the error code on my 3 year old LG fridge, CH-E (which means the compressor is not working and no longer cooling) I was quoted $89 for the diagnosis service call fee, but told it would be waived if they did the actual repair work. The repair guy took a quick look and wouldn't touch it, said we had to go through a repair company that was "certified to do warranty work". They knew from the beginning that they couldn't do the repair. Had to pay again for a real repair company to come out. AVOID THIS COMPANY!
Stay away!!
Stay away!!! I went with them because they could come same day and boy am I paying for that. The technician was unable to provide a fix and when I decided to go through insurance it's been 4 days and they will not fill out the report for me to submit to insurance. I call the calls get dropped. They call back from Spam #s. Do not use.

Absolutely the worst service experience…
This company is beyond words.
My experience was with the mississauga location, and in my search to give them a bad review it turns out they have horrible reviews online all over Ontario plus they don't care.
So here is my story
Absolutely the worst service experience I’ve ever had. I hired this company to repair my washer and dryer. The technician Shakeel assured me the dryer would be 'good as new' after the repair. Instead, it completely stopped working after just one load. When I contacted them for support, I was met with delays, excuses, and blatant unprofessionalism.
The technician himself was incredibly rude, when I asked for a refund, he yelled at me over the phone and hung up. The manager "Ben", when he finally reached out, was just as dismissive and provocative, twisting the situation around and accusing me of yelling, even though I was simply trying to resolve the issue calmly.
They refused to stand behind their work, refused to refund me, and after multiple visits and a lot of wasted time, my dryer is still broken. This company talks about valuing customer satisfaction, but based on my experience, it’s all just empty words. Save yourself the frustration take your business somewhere else.
The company shows no commitment to…
The company shows no commitment to customer service. They take advance payment for parts and repair jobs, but after receiving the payment, they stop responding to complaints and do not complete the work. I paid for the repair service, and even after 21 days, no technician has come to complete the job. I have called their customer care many times, but every time I only get the same response: "We will update you soon" — and then nothing happens. Very disappointed with their service and lack of responsibility.
They are the real scammers don’t get…
They are the real scammers don’t get your things fixed by them. They have promised me to fix my machine in $89 but I got a invoice of $187 guys. Please be aware in Saskatoon area if you received a textfrom appliancerepairexpert do not entertain them otherwise you will get scam. nobody answering their customer service calls.
Check my below complaint but nobody replied or reach back to me
Hello
I am writing to formally address a discrepancy I encountered regarding the invoice I received for a recent service.
When I initially booked my appointment on Tuesday, I spoke with an associate who clearly stated that the technician’s visit would incur an $89 fee for the inspection and any necessary repairs, provided they were straightforward. However, I was informed that additional costs would apply only if parts were required.
This morning, the technician arrived and examined the issue with my washing machine. He confirmed that the rubber had come loose and, with my assistance, reattached it. He stated that it was a simple fix. However, when I received the invoice, the charge was $200. When I inquired about the discrepancy, the technician explained that this was the standard fee, despite what I had been told earlier.
I reminded him that I was informed by the associate that the cost would be $89, with extra charges only for parts, and the technician responded dismissively, saying that I would need to contact the company to resolve the issue. He also mentioned that $89 would not even cover the cost of his gas, which I found unprofessional and inappropriate.
After receiving the invoice, I attempted to contact the company using the toll-free numbers provided (+1 866-311-5583 and 866-223-5498), making over 30 calls without success. I have yet to receive a response, which is incredibly frustrating and concerning.
Given these circumstances, I feel I have been misled, and I am requesting a prompt resolution to this matter. I would appreciate a thorough review of my case, and I hope to receive a refund for the difference in charges. If this is a legitimate company, I trust you will address my concerns with the seriousness they warrant.
Please let me know how you intend to proceed.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this issue.

Over priced for incredibly poor service!
Incredibly poor service, highly recommend you choose a different repair service. They take payment for work before it's done and don't show up for the scheduled repair! It's been a very upsetting experience, do not use this company.
Horrible Company!
This company sends unprepared technicians who pretend to do their job, charge you full price and nothing gets fixed. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

This is a scam business
This is a scam business. Do not use them. We hired them in January to fix our dryer, and for about 1 week it worked but it was burning hot to the touch and died again. We called them back because they promised if it broke within 3 months they would come back free of charge. Well there was constantly an excuse why they couldn't come back to fix it. Our tech went on vacation, then they changed the story to oh he quit etc. we ended up having to contact our credit card and the BBB. The credit card has refunded us the total amount thank god. They left us hanging for weeks making up lies about why they couldn't send a different tech.
Absolute Scam—Avoid at All Costs!
Absolute Scam—Avoid at All Costs!
If I could give this sham of a company zero stars, I would. Dimitriy Polidva should be ashamed to have his name attached to this disaster. This isn’t just bad service—it’s straight-up fraud.
Their so-called “technician,” Kamal, couldn’t change a lightbulb if his life depended on it, yet somehow he managed to double-charge us before vanishing into thin air. And good luck getting help—when you call their outsourced excuse for a customer service center, you’ll quickly realize that their only job is to stonewall you until you give up. No solutions, no accountability, just a black hole of incompetence. Eventually, they’ll just stop answering altogether.
And the cherry on top? Their voicemail proudly claims they “pride themselves on customer service.” Maybe they mean they’re proud of not having any, because that’s the only thing they’re consistent at. I’m already looking into legal action because this level of negligence should be criminal.
Stay far, far away from this joke of a company. Lesson learned—next time, I’ll do my research before trusting a “fix-it” scam operation like this one

Avoid this company – highly unprofessional and possibly a scam.
Avoid this company, highly unprofessional and possibly a scam.
I contacted this company to fix my dishwasher, and it has been an absolute nightmare. Wes, the only technician servicing Burlington, has been “fixing” my dishwasher for almost a year. He initially claimed that my dishwasher needed a part, asked me to pay in advance, and then took months to get back to me despite multiple follow-ups.
When he finally showed up, he installed the wrong part, which was not my fault, and my dishwasher still didn’t work. Instead of taking responsibility, he then claimed another part needed to be replaced—at an additional cost.
This experience has been frustrating, costly, and completely unprofessional. I strongly advise against hiring this company unless you want to waste time and money.
This company was THE WORST
This company was THE WORST. They sent a service person five days after our initial call. The person took apart our machine, and then said they had to order a part. They said the part was late, and it took another visit because they didn't have the right part. Five days later, when the service person was finally supposed to arrive, they were two hours late and they still hadn't got the part yet. Then someone else called to say the technician wasn't working for them anymore. DO NOT use this company.

They are scammers. Stay vigilant and cautious.
First, you can only book an appointment online, but no one can help you in person. Despite there being at least six different phone numbers to contact, customer service is nonexistent. This should alarm you… Second, though you have the option to cancel the technician's visit not less than 3 hours in advance, it does not mean what you may think—this is not a real option... Third, even though no one ever came to your house, they will email you an invoice for “Diagnose and Repair of Electric Appliance” (attached). After a week, you'll get “your final warning regarding the unsettled balance on your account with Appliance Repair Expert. Ignoring this notice may lead to legal proceedings and additional costs. To discuss a payment, contact our billing department at 6474788363” (attached)... However, as I've said, none of their phone numbers ever get answered... New development, 14 months later: Initially, I called this company a scammer, but in fact, they are criminals. To steal my money, they engaged a collection agency, Dixon Commercial Investigators, which sent me an ugly letter in January 2026. It did not help them... On March 27, 2026, they complained about my review on Trustpilot, which asked me to “provide some extra information within 3 days.” I provided it promptly. On March 31, I received a letter from Appliance Repair Expert’s manager, Alex Gill, saying, “I want to sincerely apologize for the situation you’ve experienced. After reviewing your case and the details you’ve shared, I can confirm that this should not have happened, especially given that the appointment was cancelled and no service was completed. Regarding the collections matter, we will take full responsibility for resolving this. I will personally ensure that your account related to invoice #84469 is removed from Dixon Commercial Investigators and that no further collection actions are pursued.” On April 11, I received a letter regarding the same issue from another collection agency, In-House Receivable Services Ltd. That is, Appliance Repair Expert lied to both the collection agencies, saying I owed them money, and to me, saying “no further collection actions are pursued.”

Do Not Trust Appliance Repair Experts
My Frigidaire Freezer (just off warranty) was leaking on the left back side. The repair person said I needed a new ice maker. He never got back to me for a month and when I reached out to him he said he was waiting for a valve that was on back order. I checked with Reliable Parts and found the parts in stock. I then called another repair service who came out and diagnosed the problem as a known issue with the freezers and it was NOT the icemaker. Appliance Repair Experts are NOT to be trusted.
