This scam happened to me

I am so glad I saw and thank Sandra Worsfold for her review, as this scam happened to me quite recently. I returned from holiday on September 23 and read a letter from access PaySuite stating $74.99 was taken from my account on September 18, in my absence. I contacted them and spoke with a man who said the money covered five appliances and would be paid every three months! He said he would cancel the policy and that $74.99 would be returned to my account with 3-4 working days. I waited and checked my account and phoned on a number of occasions only to be told the money would be refunded but this did not happen.
On November 7 I called D&G and spoke of these reviews and said that someone in their company was advising Appliance Breakdown of D&G’s clients and taking money from their accounts. D&G are “escalating” this and recommended that I go to my bank (Santander) immediately, which I did yesterday morning November 8 and explained the situation. What then amazed me was that they simply put $74.99 into my account and then will take this up with Appliance Breakdown. I hope all banks will do the same and that Appliance Breakdown and connecting companies be brought to task and prosecuted.
