Intentionally difficult to cancel?

In my opinion Apple intentionally makes it extremely difficult to cancel monthly subscriptions in the hope that the subscriber will just keep on paying for something he/she no longer wants. Do not accept a free trial!

Impossible to login

Impossible to login, when you do, the next time you attempt to login again it locks yr account. You then have to reactivate yr account and create a new password, frustrating and awful.

Don't see why you would bother

Don't see why you would bother, very limited content. Only sign up for the 3 months free and I now no why there giving it away. There main sell point is been able to stream or rent movies which you can do anywhere and not pay $12.99 month

Definitely not worth the money

Definitely not worth the money. Has done decent programmes on but you have to wait weekly for the next episodes of anything decent, more like a tv channel than a streaming site. The point of paying to stream is to be able watch any series at jy oace, not to be dictated to and having to come back. For anything you want to binge, it's really just poor shows. Small library and hard to find anything decent.

Not able to login-Apple support says no can do!

Not able to login, if not having an other Apple device like iPad or iPhone?
I have 3 other Mac, including the latest MacBook Pro M2. But i dont have (anymore) any IOS device - henseforth im not able to login to my AppleTV since the DEMAND from Apple is verifyring the Apple TV by IOS?
I called Apple Support, and they promised to get back, now waiting on week 3. So the only way to access my 4.gen AppleTV, was to login through my wifes account, since she still on an iPhone.
So the conclusion is: Do not buy any AppleTV unless you also buy an IOS device, iPad or Iphone.
Could you imagine, that one had to by a second car to be able to drive the first one?

Shocking falling short on content

I recently tried the 7 day trial as I was thinking of moving over from Netflix because they advertise as having Dolby atmos content which sounds great on the home cinema.. I was shocked at how poor this service was there was hardly anything on there that you have heard of or is worth watching and the movies you search for you have to pay extra for even old ones.. if you are looking for 4k atmos or imax enhanced Disney is your best bet if it’s just 4k you after you can’t beat Netflix do not waste your money on Apple TV it is absolutely shocking! And I’m still shocked at how bad it was! I didn’t even see out the 7 day trial cause there’s nothing to watch!

Poor administration

Like many others, I attempted to set up an account for apple tv plus but failed. Both my credit and debit cards were declined. The system then wanted payment by PayPal which I do not have. Their agent could not understand why my cards were declined either and couldn't help.
Avoid. There are better managed streaming service out there.

They don't let us award MINUS five stars- I want to suscribe but every time I try to purchase a subscription , the bank details convert me to a lady in Manitoba, Canada!!!!!.Obviously, MY credit card details won't match!!!! I don't want 7 days FREE necessarily, but you can't subscribe any other way. I have raised this issue before, months ago. Apple Tv + cannot sit wondering why their viewing figures are not increasing , if every UK applicant has to somehow provide the credit card details of some Canadian person. Apple TV actually admitted that they had knowledge of this "Canadian Blip" - obviously not bothered enough to assist future customers though!!! To say that the impression given by Apple TX+, as a 'communications Key Player'...forget it!!

Weekly drop and useless User Interface

Apple TV has a few good shows such as Slow Horses and Severance but the weekly drop and inadequate User Interface are off-putting. I'm currently on Silo Episode 3 and, after an absence, wish to start again at Ep 1 but there's no way to do this. Basic navigation is inexplicably missing and I'm considering canceling. Apple of all companies should know form and function are both necessary parts of good design. It's as if they aren't even trying.

Rubbish

Rubbish. I recently subscribed to AppleTV and in a nutshell you have to subscribe to rent or buy movies with limited access to paid for flix. The representation of the Apple experience is not great anymore and it’s become the typical extortion tactics that one can expect from the uncreatives. Darn it hurts. I read Steve Jobs biography written by Walter Isaacson. What a wonderful account of the dynamics of Apple. A passion for life and a sincere drive to introducing creativity in the world, with a realistic and acceptable approach to commerce. Even Andy Warhole enjoyed its value during Apple’s formative days, while creating simple drawings on an Apple II with a child in Steve’s house. There’s no creativity in promoting people to pay for movies after subscribing to your movie viewing service.

Apple tv is an absolute nightmare

Apple tv is an absolute nightmare. It requires me to reset my log in virtually every time i use it. I've just downloaded the app on my laptop but it won't scroll down so i can only see the top part of the page. I finally found a workaround so i could watch the show i wanted and it won't play sound despite playing it for the trailer that runs straight into the show. It's unbelievably bad.

Getting this 'free' with Barclays… still not worth it.

Getting this 'free' with Barclays Rewards (but they ditched the £5 bonus at same time). So this is costing me £5 a month rather than £8.99.

It works well on my Roku, Slow Horses is good but after that ... I'd say garbage. Anything that looks half good you need to pay extra (a lot extra) for, and these are sprinkled everywhere with no premium area £/€/$ sign on the thumbnail.

Marginal at £5, poor at £8.99 and absolute rip-off at £8.99 plus individual choices.

I'd say avoid and I have Apple products everywhere. A TV not worthy of the brand

Glad I got this free , because if I had paid a penny I would have wanted my money back, no relevant content , no worthwhile films , I see film adverts stating that they are Apple TV but on doing a search they don't even come up...useless,useless rubbish
