After last night's rubbish "upgrade" to my iPad, I was going to leave a shitty review. However, as an Apple user since 1986, I don't think I can say anything that hasn't been said. Apple have always manufactured nice hardware, but their software is rubbish. I gave up on them 10 years ago, moving to Windows 10 and Android. The iPad was a gift and I really am at a loss to say anything positive about it, other than good battery life.
I'm amazed that the great hoax that is post-Jobs Apple is continuing...
Repair Rip Off
I paid €1480 + VAT for a MacBook Air 13 inch M1 4 years ago. The MacBook developed a crack and I phoned to get it replaced. Apple say the price to replace the screen would be €530. Rip Off. No attempt to look after Customer Loyalty. I talked to the Apple manager and he said there is nothing that he can do.

I upgraded to airpods pro 3 which broke only after 2 weeks of usage. Instead of replacing them with a new pair and admitting that Apple sold me a faulty product, they offered me a repair which they said would take 2-3 days. Well it's been more than a week and still no update and no offer for a replacement. Now I'm left with no airpods and they took my money for a broken product.

Do NOT shop on the Apple store website. I bought a Mac, my order was cancelled without any notification, and I have still not been refunded days later. Support is useless, promises a refund and doesn't deliver.
Cancelation and refund
My order was cancelled on the same day, after the funds were changed already. I didn't received any notification about this and only noticed that next day. 6 business days later I'm still waiting my funds to be released.
Outstanding post-order customer service
Ordered another Macbook, great product but also outstanding customer support.
My courier dropped the package to the wrong location and didn't ask anyone to sign for it. Rather than make me wait or sort this out with the courier, Apple sent me a replacement which arrived next day!
The original one turned up outside my door about 2 weeks later, I called Apple and they sent another courier to collect it.

I’ve spent nearly €40 on applications through the App Store, only to discover that nowadays, anyone can create a non-functional app, upload it, and profit—even when the app completely fails to deliver on its promises.
I reported an app that was clearly broken and laid out all the facts. I even invited Apple to conduct a screen-sharing session to see the issue firsthand. Despite this, their response was dismissive: “The app doesn’t qualify for a refund.”
This is unacceptable. Customers are spending their hard-earned money on what turns out to be trash, and instead of taking accountability, Apple refuses to act. This platform, once known for quality and integrity, is now littered with poorly made, scammy apps.
Apple is becoming a massive disappointment. Allowing such garbage to thrive and dismissing genuine complaints is disgusting. Do better, Apple!
Really bad culture
Really bad culture. Camera fault on an iPhone 14 Plus which is less than 2 years old . They would not fix under warranty as bought in US. Looking in web it is a common fault with this phone . A car company would be obliged to recall. No decent Apple service in ireland . Went to Apple Store in Spain and replaced camera for €199. Had contacted customer service online and talked to ‘senior’ agent Sindy who promised to revert when researched - never did . Their culture is arrogant and dismissive. Looking for alternatives to get out of their web of control!

I was working in Apple for 4 years
I was working in Apple for 4 years, never saw a Racist and arrogant people like people there, Especially in Ireland work from Home or Cork, I reported the issue to CEO, and now I have a Case in Court against Apple and their Racism, and a case in WRC work relations, the issue is rhat many workers there are Active members of New Nazist and Racist groups and are widenly showing it in their Social Media Activities, but the worse is that they implement this in Apple towards other Employees, and Mangement and HR do nothing, as if they are Encoureging them
Very disappointed
My overall experience with the Apple Care refurbished program was disappointing:
1) Data Transfer Issues: The main reason I opted for a refurbished product delivered to my home was to switch all my apps from my current phone to the replacement. Instead, I was asked to turn off Find My Device and erase all data on my current phone before starting the process. The absurdity is that I was able to enable Find My Device after this and install the backup! When asked why the support was not able to explain why. Why!?
2) High Charges and Unreasonable Return Period: Apple charges the full amount of the replacement device (1200 euros) and gives only 10 days to return the original phone to avoid the charge. This period does not account for any delivery issues with the replacement device. In my case, UPS (as usual…) had issues delivering my device, making me worry I would be charged the full amount. When I contacted Apple support about UPS’s delay, they informed me that if I couldn’t send back the phone in time, I would incur a charge, but they couldn’t specify the amount of the charge in case of a delay.
3) Poor Quality of Refurbished Devices: Once I finally received the refurbished device, it died after just 2 days! This indicates the extremely low quality of their refurbished devices. I had to visit the Apple store where they couldn’t determine the problem. The technical support team were quite sorry and attempted to get me a new phone due to the poor experience. Unfortunately, Apple only provided another refurbished device, leaving me unsure of its longevity.
Given these experiences, I cannot recommend Apple’s refurbished program.

If I could I would give 0 stars. I got an iPhone plus as a bday gift but my boyfriend got the wrong model so we have been trying to return it as our right and it’s been 2 weeks now and nothing. We have been calling and begging to them to collect the wrong device so we can get the right one, but they do nothing. After 2 weeks they went to the wrong address to collect it and after we contacted them, they said we need to make a new claim and start it all over again. I’m fuming.

Zero loyalty shown to long term customers. I will NOT be buying apple products ever again after this. At least Samsung offer courier options and keep convenience a priority for their customers. Dreadful customer service.
I have an old Macbook Pro. It works well but every few years, I have to replace the power adaptor, at a cost of E85. I bought a new one 13 months ago and it also broke. I contacted Apple to see if it was under warranty (that was all I wanted to know) and they told me it might be but I had to go into an Apple reseller in order to find out. I didn't want to do this as I suspected they wouldn't be able to help so I left it for a few weeks and then I called them again. They told me to go into the shop again (I was on the phone to them for ages) so I drove 40 minutes in the rain and as suspected, they were useless. I returned home and called Apple. They kept me on the phone for about an hour and kept saying it was my computer that was the issue, not the newish adaptor. After an hour of a circular conversation, they eventually told me the adaptor was out of warranty (which was all I wanted to know).
I think their level of after sales service was worse than useless and I can't believe a company with Apple's reputation could make accessories that break so easily.
iPhone 14 Issues
Ordered a brand new phone a few days after Christmas which I received last week courtesy of Eir.
Unfortunately, when I powered off the phone and turned it back on, the phone started freezing and the screen became very glitchy and slow. I immediately contacted Apple Support but unfortunately, they were unable to help me rectify the issueI have had to do a factory reset on the phone (not sure if this will rectify the issue but will update this review.) Unfortunately, the data transfer takes an extremely long time from an iPhone 12 to an iPhone 14 so will complete this over the weekend and hopefully this will rectify the issue (again, I will update this review.)
Extremely disappointed as this is a brand new phone and wouldn’t expect this to happen to a brand new phone.

Dropped my phone into an Eir shop located in Swords Pavillions. The girl (Chloe) was very helpful. She attempted to do a data transfer but unfortunately, this did not work. We brought the phone to an Apple Store (here, Apple stores are called Select) and the staff there could not do anything with the phone as they said it was a fault with the phone itself. We returned to the Eir shop and they took the phone for a repair. I will update this review when I receive the newly repaired phone or a replacement phone

Selling phones with batteries which are to small and difficult to replace.
Deliberately slowing down old phones with software updates to make users upgrade.
Forcing users to use the icloud so that they will have to pay a subscription.

Just wondering what the point is in releasing a product and then not having enough made to fulfill any orders after the first week of its release? I bought the new iPhone a week ago through a third party store in Ireland and they still have zero stock, the same as every other store
