I rode my IP66-rated Apollo scooter for just five weeks, including some rain—conditions exactly like what’s shown in their ads. It completely died, leaving me with about $800 in damage that isn’t covered under warranty.

Just something to keep in mind if you’re considering one.

Bought my stellar and never worked the way it’s supposed to, second week had to take it to shop and it was two weeks in shop. Still not working properly, my advice is stay away from Apollo scooters
They are more social, and talk and less good product and innovation that works.
5000 dollar for my stellar and it’s a piece of shit

Failure to communicate and actually ship product

I ordered an Apollo City on the evening of August 25th, 2025 online. Apollo took the funds right away as expected and I received an order confirmation email as well. Order CAD49330

The next day I created an account and signed up to the newsletters and I installed the shop app as recommended. I have received a shit load of marketing emails asking me to purchase accessories for a device I have not received.

Since then, there has been no change to the status of my order, and we are 10 days in (7 working days). I have tried every form of communications that I can find, email, online web forms, chat, ai chat bot and nothing.

The website states that in 24 - 48 hours I should have had a shipping / tracking number and that I should have received my product within 7 to 10 days.

If I still have no response by tomorrow I am going to demand a FULL refund and also file a dispute process with my cc company as I expect to be ignored by Apollo on this as well and will have to get my cc to force the refund.

Great for short rides… but it WILL die before 1,000 miles.

I was a fan of Apollo and really wanted to believe in their scooters. If you’re only using it for short, casual rides, sure, it’ll feel great. But don’t make the mistake of relying on it as your main form of transportation.

Despite careful use and maintenance, the battery died completely after just 1,000 miles, when it should last closer to 10,000 miles for a high-end scooter like this. And now the only option is to buy a new battery that costs $400, almost half the price of a new scooter.

I even reached out to Apollo and offered to pay half for the battery, just to be fair, and they refused. That’s what disappointed me the most. They just won’t stand behind their product.

This company needs to do better. They need to take responsibility for key components that fail far too soon. A battery is not optional, it’s essential. This is like buying a car and having the transmission fail at 5,000 miles. Even if the warranty is over, any serious manufacturer would recognize that as a defect and offer a real solution.

Apollo looks good on the surface, but once the warranty ends, so does their support.
It’s not just a bad battery, it’s a total betrayal of customer trust.

Life Changing Scooter

Life Changing Scooter! Best I've owned
For me, owning 2 Apollo City scooters has been absolutely life changing.
For the 1st time I feel very safe on the streets, The scooters are well made, heavy enough, battery lasts forever and speed is great.
Having said that, One broken screw caused one of scooters to be disabled for 2.5 months. Apollo kindly sent me the parts (City 2022 folding mechanism) but didn't bother to warn me this is a new different mechanism which is impossible to figure out how to install. they didn't have explainer videos so I got stuck for a long time.
Eventually, thank God, Josh from Apollo Scooters got on a video support call with me. and went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help my install the mechanism. His attitude was friendly, welcoming, and caring. thanks to that My scooter is back on the road and l'm relieved.
Thank you Josh !

Extremely Poor Customer Service

I ordered in electric scooter from Apollo in Canada. Every single commitment on delivery was broken and I still have not received my product. Even up to last week I received an email apologising and promising that my product will be delivered, only for it to be another broken promise. My experience with Apollo has been horrible and disappointing as the company has absolutely no commitment to keeping promises. Please be aware that if you buy a product from Apollo scooters, you cannot depend on the company to deliver when they promise, if at all. I still do not have my product shipped and I’m now looking at another scooter company to buy a electric scooter. Unfortunately, there are many many customers with my same experience. It’s quite sad because I understand and make a good scooter but the customer service is absolutely the worst I’ve ever experienced in my life. BEWARE! Save some time and buy another brand!
