I have serious doubts about the fish I've bought being safe to eat. The company called me the day before it was delivered to say it had been frozen. When it arrived it had a shelf life of 48 hours, was not frozen and there was no label on the packing to say it had been frozen and defrosted. There was a strong smell, even though the fish is still in its wrapping. No response to two emails to customer services. Frankly I feel I've been fobbed off with fish that's very close to its use-by. There's insufficient paperwork, and the phone call I had was very misleading. No more orders from me.

Not a great customer service do not reply unless you send a couple of messages the fish arrived a bit smelly I think due to bad packaging as blood was dripping out making the box very wet give some where else a try for your online fish shop

Great service fast delivery and courteous follow up. My wife and I had Turbot for the first time today. Fish arrived fresh and delivered as was promised. Fish was absolutely delicious. It might have been our first purchase from AO Seafoods it won't be the last.

Your company is very good and we always order and delivered in very good service but unfortunately today your driver is so rude and not even putting our ordered fish in the right place as we requested politely to the driver to put it in our kitchen as it is in the side and he ignored it and just putting it infront of our shop so what happened was the smell of the fish stick to our customer dining area as the package dripping. So this kind of driver with a van PE68 UVH who delivered our order at 12:10pm today is not a customer service oriented he should not in your company as it affect your company's good reputation.

They prepped my salmon portions as required, and it was delivered vac packed as asked. It was the first time I'd eaten dressed crab and wasn't disappointed. The service was really friendly, and the cost was reasonable too.

I'm over the moon with the quality of fish I received today . Fresh well packed and the swordfish was delicious would definitely recommend and will be making my next order very shortly for my Christmas salmon and extras for the buffets planned

Never tasted shark before, so I was intrigued to see what it was like, they advised on how to cook it and it was delicious. I was quite surprised at how tasty it was, I'll definitely be back for more.

Fish delivered by DPD. The driver clearly didn’t know what was in the parcel; he didn’t ring the doorbell & dumped the box by the bin. Luckily I was home & immediately retrieved the box. I was surprised that there was only 3 ice packs as the box was not insulated. Clearly it was not enough as one of the cod fillets was thawed. Also, I ordered skinless but received skin on. I also ordered swordfish steaks. These were thin & not up to the quality of Regal Fish. I won’t be placing another order.

AO seafoods are scammers!

They send you smelly out of date fish and when you return it they do not refund you.

Further to this, they supplied us for years and we always trusted their weights of fish per kilo. We realised one day that they were invoicing for 10 kilos when there was only 9kilos of salmon for example. We intentionally didn't say anything to see if it was a mistake or not. the next 4 times they did the same thing. So they had clearly done this for years, possibly costing us tens of thousands.

I ordered fresh salmon, frozen cod loin and frozen tuna steaks. The order arrived quickly and well packaged. We ate the salmon on the same day and it was delicious. The frozen cod and tuna were a different story. I have never before experienced tough fish. Both the cod and tuna were incredibly tough however I cooked them. I even tried a Japanese braised tuna recipe braising them for an hour but it was still tough and threw half away. Fortunately I can now buy fish from a visiting van and get great quality fish.

My purchase from AO was probably one of the worst in my over 70 years.

I purchased a box of 10 frozen cod steaks (£34.44 order number 5882) when it arrived 3 of the steaks had completely thawed and 2 partly thawed no blame could be attributed to the delivery company as they had delivered on time in fact earlier, I emailed the company on the 28th May and as of today had no reply, I was interested to read their claim that day boats land the catch, they buy and prepare the freshest fish and then deliver them, this is interesting as on the box containing the fish it states the fish was caught by Royal Greenland Seafood in the North West Atlantic and packed in China as their address is in Burnley I fail to see how it can be true, needless to say I will not waste anymore money buying from this outfit who are making claims of freshness that can't be true I will stick to the big supermarkets who are at least honest about where their fish come from and price accordingly.

After a little hitch that was solved by Jack and a kind curtousy call from Adrian {thankyou both} my delivery came today. Carl and myself sat down to a delicious tuna supper. Generous portion and so flavoursome. Beautifully package and labeled, im looking forward to the mackeral i ordered next. Thank you for the order of lovely fish in these difficult times. You can always tell a good company to deal with when things go adrift and how they are handled. Well done A O Seafoods thank you and stay safe Michele.

Brilliant! The customer service was faultless and went above and beyond what I expected. All the fish I ordered (including salmon, king prawns and lobster) were superb! Will definitely be back!
