Horrible management
Horrible management banned my tag without notice and then charged me still, then said they didn’t ban my account

I had membership in Abbotsford anytime fitness which is in Highstreet and I did a lot of email to the staff for cancellation my membership because I moved to Surrey with my friends and I told them every single day for cancellation and they ask me for my proper new address and as I am international student then how can I buy a house in few months but they told me show your billing for utilities and drivers license address this is not good thing and they charge me biweekly this is not good thing.
Stealing money
I was a member for 2 months then moved across state and canceled in person with the manager . I aslo sent emails provong my address change. My membership was never canceled. I've been trying to get this canceled for 7 months now. The auto payments continue biweekly . I've talked to corporate shown proof of everything yet the payments continue. In fact the last payment was raised to $70 . Do not use this gym!
I was interested in getting a…
I was interested in getting a membership here and called several times but received no callbacks. After listening to the recorded message, I decided to schedule a tour online for today, Monday, at 11:00 a.m. When I arrived for my tour, I rang the doorbell and waited for quite a while before a customer eventually opened the door. They informed me that no management was present and directed me to a trainer. I explained my 11:00 a.m. appointment to the trainer, but he mentioned that the manager was absent and he didn't know why. While he suggested I come back in a few hours, I had ridden my bike to the appointment, which added to my frustration. Overall, I am quite discouraged by the disorganized and unprofessional intake process. I don't think this will be the right gym for me, but I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss this matter with management.
Either nothing gets fixed
Either nothing gets fixed, or things take unacceptably long to fix. It's Life Fitness's Fault, but what steps have the higher-ups at Anytime Fitness taken to address Life Fitness dragging their feet? Just one example: last year, the lat pulldown was out of order. It took a month to fix it. About ten days later, it was out of order AGAIN and took a further TWO months to fix! At least half the spin bikes have displays that don't work, two of them are actually broken. Same with the assault bike. There are engineers from Life Fitness who examine the equipment, but nothing ever gets fixed. If people are treated the same way as defective gym equipment, I would hate to have a heart attack or stroke in the gym!
Also, Anytime Fitness needs to cracks down on people who overuse their phones. The worst offender is an individual who spends about 80% of his time in the gym using his phone whilst hogging equipment. Fish or cut bait! He uses the gym as his own personal office. (Leyton branch in London)
Hard to cancel membership
While registration is easy, cancelling the membership is a nightmare. They require members to send an email after the expiry date, which is unnecessarily troublesome. If they don’t receive the email (or claim not to), you’re automatically charged for another month—$99, no less! They also have a ridiculous 30-day notice period for cancellations. Why make it so hard for members to leave?
For a gym charging this much, the service should at least be decent. Instead, the staff are unprofessional, as seen in other Google reviews where someone was body-shamed. This is unacceptable. If I wanted to donate money, I’d give it to charity, not to a gym that lacks basic accountability.
Avoid this place unless you enjoy unnecessary fees and poor service.

Just made a trustpilot account so i can give them 0! They put me in a lock in contract even when i don't use the gym!
I visited Anytime Fitness Maghull for…
I visited Anytime Fitness Maghull for my first-day induction session. Unfortunately, during the session, I experienced severe leg pain, which worsened after I returned home. The next day, I visited the gym in person to inform the staff that I would not be able to continue due to my injury. The staff assured me that it was fine and mentioned that I could rejoin whenever I was ready.
A few months later, I received an email regarding my membership, to which I responded by explaining my situation again. However, despite this, I have now received a letter from a debt recovery agency demanding £147.
I find this practice by Anytime Fitness Maghull highly unprofessional. Charging a person £147 for a single induction session, despite clear communication about a medical issue, is unreasonable. This experience has been very disappointing, and I strongly advise others to be cautious before signing up. I am sharing this review to help prevent others from facing a similar situation.
Not recommended.

I definitely wouldn’t recommend anyone use anytime fitness. If you have a 12 month membership that’s ending and don’t give them a months notice of cancellation, they will charge you an additional month. It’s a corporate problem bc they are liberals from California.
Fantastic
Kyle and Donna at the Butterfield site do an exceptional job-day in and day out. Top shelf
Pricing is not convincing.
I'm writing a review here since the official website doesn't have this newly opened branch to provide feedback. I'm referring to the AF Singapore newly opened LeQuest branch. Signed up on early December but was told to pay the full subscription fee for the entire month. It doesn't make sense but was informed that that's just how it is. I think I have been cheated for my money after mulling it over. It was already past December, there's nothing I can do to backtrack time and use the gym facilities right? Yet I am still informed that the price is not prorated.
DONT GO TO THIS PLACE I WARN YOU!
Another Corporate Co, Steals Money from Hardworking Americans by Predatory Contracts.
Location is neat, clean and organized. Well managed. However, we requested cancellation of our membership due to an upcoming move and was assured to submit the request and all would be taken care of. We expected that there would be a cancellation fee and was prepared to compensate for it. Once we confirmed our new address, we were informed that since another location was within 15 miles from our new home, our account had to remain active. The nearest location is a 20 minute drive. There is at least 5-6 gyms around the block from our new home. Our recommendation; don’t join if you plan on moving anytime soon. Find a place that offers month to month non contract. Might just draft a press release and submit to a few local media contacts.
Hidden fees and misinformation
Hello, Anytime Fitness has hidden fees of euro 15 every six month for the gym improvements. I was not informed about it while signing and also did not see any improvements over the year. It is also a privet company, I found it unacceptable. When I signed in I pay for the key and was told that the money for it will be returned when I give it back. Yesterday I tried to give it back and was told that I bought it and I can keep it, it costs euro 35.
I also think that looking what is offered at another gyms Fitness First is too expensive for what they offer and what machines they use.
Chiswick branch is to be avoided
Warning Chiswick branch is to be avoided.
Really friendly when they want you to join and will lie through their teeth, making empty promises that never happen. The building leaks when it’s cold and yet they tell you it’s condensation. A quarter if the gym is not available due to classes which also means equipment like ski machine, rowing machines and weights are not always available.
Never mind the lack of paper towels and the non existent ventilation especially around the cardio machines.
Raising issues are futile as you simply get ignored.
Terrible
Terrible! The gym I go to is full of creepy men following women in and out of the gym and staring the whole time we are exercising. Also, if you are late for payment, your card bounces or anything like that, they charge you $19 A DAY for late fees. Stay away from this one and find a better gym.
Anytime fitness Silverbell rd Tucson Az
I came to Tucson with a goal of turning my health around. Being from Wisconsin I was abit skeptical in a new gym but my concerns were put to rest immediately. The management and its staff are the most respectful and helpful I have ever encountered. This is the cleanest gym I have ever seen. The staff and trainers are always at hand to answer any questions I’ve had and are the most friendly I’ve encountered. The customers seem very pleased from what I’ve witnessed. The gym on Silverbell rd is a model that should be followed through out the industry. I’m very pleased I sought this gym out
Squalid, Unstaffed, No Customer Service…
Gym is unstaffed and there is no customer service. No one answers the door or phone. No one returns phone calls. It is like no one works there. I bought a membership thru my health insurer but actually can't use it because no one is ever at the gym to give me my keyfob.
