While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

THIS IS A FRAUDULENT SITE!

In order to use the AnyConv site you are required to have an account. These are the steps listed on the website:

Get access to your content in 3 easy steps
1 Create your free account
2 Verify your account with a credit card
3 Get access to your content

At the top of the page where you enter a credit card.It states, "Your card WILL NOT BE CHARGED for the activation of your account."

However, within moments of my filling out the form on that page, that debit card was fraudulently charged $69.46!

The only contact on the website an email, the same one TrustPilot.com lists below. It is an invalid email. So they have not responded to my demand that they reverse the charges.

Hi John,

The situation you describe cannot be related to AnyConv. Our service has always been and remains 100% free, we do not have registration or user accounts, and we never ask for credit card details. There is no payment system on AnyConv at all, so we simply cannot charge anyone’s card.

This means the $69.46 charge must have come from another website, most likely a phishing or scam page using our name or similar text. Since some time has passed, we hope you were able to contact your bank/card issuer and successfully dispute the transaction, and that your card details were secured (blocked/replaced) if needed. If you still have the link or a screenshot of the page you used, please send it to us at info@anyconv.com so we can report the fraudulent site.

For other readers: the official AnyConv site is free, does not require registration, and never asks for payment details.

Best regards,
The AnyConv Team
