Convenient site to find a lawyer. However, you have to take time to vet the lawyers!

The best lawyer ever

Not a real review service! Dodgy to say the least. They dont publish negative reviews as they get paid by the laywers. Asking for confirmation for my "Mandatsverhaeltniss mit RA Florian Kersten" and ignoring my reply with the requested proof completely.

I met in mine life 3 lawyers. All of them were Jewish, 2 of them were good lawyers and he is in it. But he is also a good person. Thanks for your help. With kind of regards, Aghela Darwishi

On September 7, 2024, I registered for the “short consultation up to 30 minutes” package through Anwalt.De for 69 Euros. I submitted my query to Attorney Pinar Avsar-Birner via the platform, but I received no response for several days. I then contacted her by phone, and we had a 30-minute phone consultation. However, I was later sent an invoice for 150 Euros.

I discussed the matter with both Attorney Pinar Avsar-Birner and Anwalt.De. Attorney Pinar Avsar-Birner stated that the consultation fee was 150 Euros and suggested I contact Anwalt.De. When I reached out to Anwalt.De, they mentioned that occasional system errors can occur. Unfortunately, I ended up being the one at a loss. Attorney Pinar Avsar-Birner did not inform me in advance about her independent fee from Anwalt.De, and Anwalt.De did not resolve the issue or offer any refund. As a result, I had to pay the 150 Euro invoice.

I strongly advise anyone using Anwalt.De to proceed with caution. Always request a written fee agreement from the attorney beforehand to avoid unexpected charges.

Anwalt is a typical agency in Germany that prioritizes serving its paying clients (the lawyers) over protecting the clients of those lawyers, leading to a decline in service quality.

Anwalt prioritizes lawyers' interests to maximize profits, often at the expense of the public. This is especially evident to those who have lived in Germany for some time.

But you don't have to take my word for it; just visit their website and search for any lawyer. It's unusual to see so many uniformly high ratings for any service in Germany. A quick look at their webpage will show an overwhelming number of five-star reviews. Take a look, it's in a book, on their webpage!

In reality, customer support in Germany is often lacking, with little motivation for good performance beyond personal drive. It's challenging to find quality service, and this is not limited to Anwalt. Whenever you see hundreds of five-star reviews, be cautious—they might be misleading.

Currently, Anwalt continues to protect a client who has clearly broken the law multiple times to maintain their five-star ratings. However, they underestimate the scrutiny from Americans, who do not tolerate such practices.

In itself a good platform for finding a lawyer.
There is only one drawback, as the user is not allowed to rate whether a lawyer ignores inquiries, a completely false picture of the lawyer is created. For example, a rating of 5.0 does not mean that the lawyer responds at all.
Criticism of the rating guidelines is also consistently ignored by support and the user is referred to the guidelines.
A suggestion to display the response times of a lawyer was not even considered.

I can justify that an adjustment of the guidelines results in an improvement for lawyers and users with the experience that a 3.0 rating led to the reaction of a lawyer and a misunderstanding could be cleared up that my request was classified as spam and ignored. This resulted in a mandate and I deleted the rating, which Anwalt.de would have done anyway because it violated the guidelines as there was no mandate at the time!

But as is usual with large corporations, the user is at the very end and what they want and what would be good for the platform as a whole is irrelevant.
