Plz don't panic they are a legit company I think there just going through a bad time ATM, short of staff there obviously struggling somethings going on I'm not sure why it's taking this long who knows, but what I can say is I ordered prime 1 studio predator 2 city hunter statue it arrived, it come with broken toes they got me a replacement, I ordered Bruce lee blitzway statue it arrived, I preordered prime 1 jungle hunter big one 1/3 scale statue I cancelled they refunded me to my normal visa debit card of £3600, I have cancelled preordered with them they have always refunded me, ATM I've got the big one prime 1 studios bk on pre-order with them I'm sure the company will come round soon 👍👍👍

Unfortunatley I have been let down by Animegami. I am trying receive refund of an order. Since May 2023! I received reply until I asked for a refund and not shop credit.
The lack of response forefits any future custom that I would have anticipated with this store. It's a shame as I am a loyal customer and they have chosen to sacrifice that repeat business.

I paid through Partial.ly and once the first product was paid in full in April 2023, all communication just stopped. I keep getting automated emails that "we are busy". This is a scam company or have gone bust! They do not have an office in the UK and are based in Portugal.

Ordered Tomie and have had to wait over 2 years. Paid in full and $85 shipping over a month ago and now radio silence with no tracking number. Avoid these scammers at all costs

My order was supposed to be sent in December 2022, but was delayed and in May I was promised it will be sent by the end of month - it was not. Then I was told it's still delayed, and now it's July and I'm completely ignored by them. Only way to contact them is via ticket system as far as I'm aware, and now I have multiple tickets open with no response for any of them.
DO NOT buy anything from them!

One order was extremely delayed but was fine when it eventually arrived. I've now received on order which was damaged and can find no way to return it. I've tried numerous contact methods and raised support tickets and received no response for a month. I've now also tried to cancel my remaining pre-ordered which have been paid for but I've received no response about that either. I personally would not recommend this company.

Asked for a refund in a product in April 2023, being ignored by the automated e-mails and nobody that I can contact there. Now July 2023 & I will be pursuing legal action against them. Do not trust or buy anything from this site. Use hobbyultra instead, they actually run a real business

Nearly a year now with constant delays, yes they do update you every few month on updates with some communication. But once you ask for a refund they go quiet! I’ve emailed full details regarding my refund order #30863 AGUK32306. I want my refund!
Company seems to have great potential, but just taking the p**s now! Someone at Animegami needs to respond to me.

The company has now gone into liquidation, all we can do is wait for documentation to go up and hope from that we see some money. Doubt it though.

It's sad really, this company used to be so reliable and their customer service great. Now its just pathetic. ive been a customer of theirs since 2017 and bought many of my figmas and nendoroids from them. i currently have 1 preorder for xenoblade Pyra goodsmile figure AGUK30158 from august 2022 but the product page doesnt exist anymore, so i cant even view it on the website. Ive of course, emailed to get an update for this nearly 3 weeks ago but like everyone else, heard nothing back from them. My partner also has a lot of pre orders open with them, all paid up front and some from over 2 years ago and they still cant give an answer as to why he hasn't had these, he had a reply about his witcher nendoroid which they said was going to get shipped out and of course, he still hasnt received this order. From both of us, they now have a significant amount of our money and nothing to show for it. Ive asked for updates from someone who is currently going through small claims court with them but so far they have had no reply. They have clearly screwed themselves by expanding too big too quickly and couldnt cope but now the customer is suffering for it and from the looks of things on paperwork from the gov website, they are passing the sinking ship to someone else and now they arent even bothering to fix issues with anyone, they even stopped posting on socials. As voiced by everyone else, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY NOW, they have clearly shut down all communication and from the looks of things you wont get your money back or will struggle to. The issue is also, this product that i have on preorder is available on other websites to be bought now and i cant afford to buy it because Animegami already have full payment from me and because i paid in 3 on Partially im likely to never see that money again. I hope all that are having the same issue can get a resolution for this that involves getting our money back but im not holding my breath.

Placed a pre-order at the start of year and we're now past the release date and the items no longer appear on the site. Asked for a refund 1 month ago and only response was an automated one stating that their support team usually respond within 72 hours, and another one 4 days later claiming they have a high number of requests and will reply as quickly as possible. Now looking to refund this and another order that I'd placed. Competitive prices but awful customer service means this is one company to avoid.

Do not buy buy anything from these people how they have got away with things I don't know. Lots of emails to them,and no answers. Try to phone no phone lines working. I am got to contact tradeing standards. But it looks like I have lost about £500. This been going on over a year.

I pre-ordered an SH Figuarts through the site back in December with delivery due in January 2023. Absolute silence until I finally contacted them end of April to ask where my figure was. They replied reasonably promptly at first to explain there was a delay.

However, once I asked for a refund, they started stalling, asking for payment details they already had. It's now been over a month since they've replied to my emails and no sign of a refund. I just want my money back.

The wait times are simply ridiculous when it comes to pre-orders and overseas shipping with this company. I have checked every other figure distributor, and they all have figures available in stock at the moment or at least were available at a similar time to the said release date; these include other UK- or EU-based figures stores as well. However, animegami consistently pushes back release dates; a figure that was supposed to be released last year in September is still being pushed back to this day, almost a whole year later. Oh, but it’s been en route to their warehouse since about January. I want to add this figure isn’t even something big; it’s a general scale figure, and they still fail to deliver on the basics.

Furthermore, another figure, which is much more expensive, has also faced this issue. It was supposed to be released this year in March, but it has yet to go out of stock on the website. However, it’s “been en route to their warehouse” for four months. I can get something shipped from Japan in two months, so I don’t see how that is even possible. I contacted them, but they’ve pushed it back to August. And I know it will just be pushed back again when it gets to August. They don’t change the website dates but leave us hanging, leaving us, the customer, to enquire when we shouldn’t have to do this. Other stores automatically send emails regarding the change in release dates or delays. In contrast, animegami leaves you out of the loop.

This isn’t just me, either. You can check other reviews on this website or go to the Facebook group “animegami collectors” to see similar gripes and problems with the company. Some people have been waiting years for their products. I’d also like to add that they charge very high prices for specific figures, much higher than stores like local Gamersheek or abroad shops like AmiAmi or Solaris, even with the tax factored in. One thing I can compliment them on is that the figures they already have in the UK will get delivered in two days. However, expect to wait, in my experience and other me, years for your pre-orders or months for figures in the German warehouse. I must strongly advise people to STAY AWAY from this website. These pre-orders will be the last dealings with this company. I’m in the process of cancelling one and getting a refund for these figures as they have failed to meet what they set out to do, and honestly, they seem very shady in their practices.

I would not buy from this store. They make false promises, take your money. Been over 1yr and no sign of a delivery date. Cancelled and now no refund. All i get is the run around. Refund service unavailable BS at its fullest. Stole my money full stop. Nothing but modern day thief's.

Last year I purchased an item on 20th September and another on 20th October. The september order was due to be shipped out by end of January.

I contacted in Fabruary and got vague responses on delayes with shipper. One time in March I contacted again and said it would be with me by end of month, and then contacted again within the month or early April and told by someone else it would be by the end of August. Second figurine due to ship in April or May and no news on that either depite many others receiving these figures already from elsewhere.

This is beyond a Joke, today at 08/07/2023 it will be close to a year and no information of delivery at all, I have sent three emails in the past month and no response at all, radio silence, while I saw posts from people in America back in December last year and January recieving the same figurine and even seeing stocks of them in comic shops. I have today bought the same figurine from a Japanese webiste and had 8 in stock and will arrive in less than a week from across the world and I don't care about the additional postage costs at this point I just want what I bought and am willing to pay more if it guarantees delivery, AnimeGami I feel has been lying this whole time and I will definitely see if I can chargeback these payments, and filing them as scams because so far their operation and interaction is basically the same to a case study of a scam when I see one. I knwo a bit abotu scams due to workign in IT and if the company I work for was dealign with this kinmd of behaviour we would have pressed for a refund or got lawyers involved for this.

I don't know if the company was better before but back when I ordered the site had 4-5 stars here, I defintely would not have ordered seeing the feedback today and seems lots of other people have detected a change in the company. I am very lucky a Japanese website with very good customer service has the figure as these are literally limited production items. I tried giving Anime Gami benefit of the doubt and a delay of over six months I feel many can say I have given enough courtesy, a lot more than most would and I don;t blame those for giving less courtersy. My advice is to buy elsewhere while I try to get back my £100 from them via chargeback as they don't respond anymore, it's either a scam or the company is going bankrupt, refund or chargeback if you can, I wish I did so months ago.

Also I notice the figurine I bought is back up on their shop to buy listed as buy now, available soon, but last year in December I asked them why this item I bought vanished from their page and they said it's because they are all bought due to limited number of them made.

Edit 12/07/2023: 1st Chargeback with credit card successful so I have just over 50% of my money back, now on to the second. Also the figurine from Japan is enroute to here, zero Customs charge at least for me. I have ordered stuff from Japan that was over £100 twice before and got no customs.

Edit 24/07/2023: Just to update since the last one. I have successfully got both chargeback requests successful. And one ofthe figures I got from Japan has arrived, the other I bought from HongKong has also arrived a week ago. I don't understand how thsi compnay can be months late but I get quick service from across the globe and witht eh Japanese company I did contact them due to error in tracking number and they replied in less than a day both times with lots of details and assurance and apologetic for a really minor issue so customer service with them is already light years ahead. Also no customs was charged for both items (both under £70).

After a positive experience in the past, I pre-ordered two products, both of which have now been delayed for months. I was sent vague emails telling me the products would arrive at the end of the month, but they didn’t - and this reoccurred for three months. I’ve since requested a refund on numerous occasions and no one is responding. Something is very wrong. I don’t know what, but avoid this website at all costs. Either they’ve been purchased by scammers or they’re going out of business.

I've been waiting for +2Months for my order and they have it "In Stock". Chased multiple times and offered 1 ETA which they also unfulfilled but today when called +10times to their office they ignore it or simply turn down the call. I've been a customer for years but no more, this has been unacceptable really
