Would give a 0 if possible, ordered on June 2021, after a few emails confirming progress and getting responses was emailed on 29th may 2023 to confirm address as the item was being shipped and should recieve it within 12 days. to this day have not heard anything and i have emailed and messaged on facebook

Ordered and paid for an item months ago. No response to emails. Just visited their website to be greeted with a message that they're going into insolvency !! 😠😠

After a few orders arriving fast and in good condition i suddenly stopped recieving my orders. Across two accounts i havw multiple unfulfilled orders that in total i have spent a few hundred pounds on. All of these orders were places last year and the preorders are way past their release date and are in stock on their website. I have attempted to contact them multiple times throughout the past few months and have heard nothing back. If they do not contact me and send me my missing orders after i post this review i will be taking further action through paypal to get a full refund on all my missing orders. Absolutely appauling company and disgraceful customer service. Avoid at all costs

Although I’d previously had great service from this company, their customer service has become non-existent.

I’ve sent multiple messages about a pre-order I made (and paid for in full) and, to date, have yet to hear back from them. By the look of other reviews here, it sounds like I’ll be waving goodbye to my money.

Pre ordered a figure back in January with this company that was due to be released in March. March came and went and the site updated to say the figure would be released in June.
June, too, came and went and the company has still not dispatched my order and have ignored multiple attempts to contact them.
My first experience with ordering from this site so I can only assume they are not a legitimate company.
I will be raising a dispute with my bank which I assume will be tough as it's been so long since I made the payment.
Avoid at all costs.

It has been nearly half a year since I first paid for my order, just to find that it was out of stock. I then chose the replacement for the statue and was promised a price difference. Yet to this day, I haven't received either. They kept prolonging the procedure, and took ages to reply to what I sent them.
I find this quite unacceptable from a company like this.

Wish I could give zero stars for this... ordered stock in December 2021 that was supposed to have arrived in the store in November 2021. I kept being told there were delays... it's August 2023 and I still haven't received it. PayPal won't let me claim refunds anymore so Animegami have effectively taken the money and ran.

Ordered eight months, in stock six months, no response to my emails. I haven't received anything until today. I have two orders, the second one should be sent during the war, but they doubt I will ever get it. Loss, roughly 320 euros. Too much money for me.

Still waiting on 6 figures, all are listed as in-stock on the website (and other retailers) for months but no dispatch. Ignored my attempts at contacting them.

Please contact me Animegami staff if you see this, I would very much like to work this out amicably. I will be raising a dispute with my bank soon.

Ordered several items from them in the past and always had excellent customer service.
Because of this I ordered 3 products for over £250 each and a couple for £40 each. Needless to say everything has gone downhill since and no products have been received months after they were supposed to.
I messaged them back in April and they responded in about a week with a proper helpful response.
Having still not heard anything since I tried to get in touch at end of June and have heard nothing.
Paid via Paypal for the cheaper items and because it has been over 180 days they will not help me. I could not do it in the time frame due to the release date being after it.
Paid via Partial.ly for the more expensive items and paid in instalments. I have just heard back from them that they cannot help me as the bank Animegami have are blocking them from giving out refunds to customers.
Do not purchase anything from them
UPDATE 15/8/23 - Website is now down and message up saying they are going into formal insolvency. Practitioners will be in touch with anybody owed money
UPDATE 18/8/23 - If you paid via VISA debit card (I think also Mastercard or AMEX) and your bank has told you that your payment was made over 120 days ago and cannot, tell them the following. According to MoneySavingExperts article on chargeback, you are covered for up to 120 days from the date you were to receive your order. Not many banks realise this information.

Pre-ordered and it never showed up!

I have pre-ordered a figurine in jan, it's been almost 8.months and I have not received it (I've seen it everywhere in stores so I know it's released). Contacted them to cancel the order months ago, at first they were slowly replying, and for the past month or so they haven't been replying at alll.

I ordered an 'in stock'! item in May 23 but it never arrived in the estimated time as stated by Company. No replies to emails etc. What do I do now!!! I am an 80yr old disabled pensioner who saved up for this item and no service at all has been shown. I am so angry and upset with the whole experience.

I preordered the Tomie statue and after I paid for shipping they went MIA and stopped replying to their emails. Now their USA website is gone. They are scamming everyone out of their preorders and not shipping anything out.

As many others on here I preordered one of their statues but never received anything. They sent out an e-mail that the product would ship out soon and even contacted me twice about any changes in my shipping address. That was a month ago. Since then I haven't received a shipping invoice or the product. I've tried messaging them but never received an answer. I'll have no other choice but to contact my bank. Please do not order here!

Ordered a Hatsune Miku figure on Pre order due for Feb 2023 (I ordered dec). No contact and no item arrived. They then said it’s due in April - April comes and nothing. I have been asking them since april for a refund and they haven’t gotten back to me. They have told my bank they disagree with my dispute but won’t even answer my emails so I can’t get my money back?

If I could rate this shop lower I would, I placed an order on June 1st, 2022 and I still haven't recived it. I have emailed about a refund, as I no longer wish to support this company, and have heard nothing back after months.

I am now a significant portion of money out with nothing to show for it, so I would encourage you all to not be as foolish as me. Do NOT order from this site, I fully believe it is a scam or, at best, horribly run with zero customer service. I emailed about a refund over a MONTH ago and have heard NOTHING back!

I made a number of pre-orders over a year ago using 10% discounts for paying up front. Sadly that offer was too good to be true. At first they gave constant delays to shipping dates despite other companies delivering the same products many months before. It now seems that the company has taken as much cash from up front pre-orders as possible before ceasing all communication, be it email, phone or social media. I never received a single item from them. If anyone is waiting for items to be delivered - they clearly won't be so I suggest contacting your bank immediately to see what they can do. Thankfully, mine was very helpful.

It's a real shame as it sounds like they were a reputable company until the end of last year. Hopefully as many people as possible can get their money back and whoever is responsible can be held to account.

I ordered a premium figure last summer with a 10% discount offer. It was due in September. The product page on the website was then updated to December and then to February despite the figure being readily available elsewhere. In March I contacted them to enquire what was going on and was told the shipment was delayed until end of May. I think they respond a first time just to give you false reassurance and delay you for a few months. By June still nothing had arrived so I contacted them again only this time no response at all other than an automated email stating they had too many requests and could not respond?! I then checked Trustpilot again and saw all the bad recent reviews. I contacted them again asking for a refund a week later and still nothing. Paypal said they could not help me because it was over 4 months which is all they guarantee for. I was told to contact my bank which I did and, thankfully, I managed to get my money refunded despite it being beyond the cover period. Please DO NOT order anything from this company. If I could give no stars I would. And if you pre-order anything from anywhere remember you are only guarateed cover for 4 months with Paypal or Credit Cards if something goes wrong!

Placed a preorder and paid in full for a pricey figure (£350) I sent a request to cancel the preorder and receive a refund. I have sent multiple emails and have not yet received a response, it has been over 3 weeks since my initial ticket (38252) and I have initiated a chargeback request due to the lack of response.
