The jacket does not fit me correctly…

The jacket does not fit me correctly and the fabric is much wilder than it appeared in the photo. I requested a refund and they will only return 20% of my purchase price although their website has a banner at the top saying "14-day postage paid returns." Now they claim that is only for damaged merchandised which is NOT stated on the website. VERY disappointed. I definitely would never order from them again. They said I could pay to return the item which I was going to do, but the address is too long to even type up in my mailing app.

I should have known better

I ordered a cute, long, sleeveless dress/shirt. I got a rag with threads hanging off it. Length that didn't even make it past my belly button. More like a halftop. Picture didn't match purchase.

My experience with AHB has been pleasant

Unlike the many reviews I've read, my experience was positive. I've been burned by some of the facebook stores, so I was leary. Did a bit of research...they are an on-line only store but had favorable reviews. The sizing is not quite right and a bit "all over the place." Have purchased several tops and they are lovely. One dress I returned for in-store credit. They were kind enough to give me a one time credit for that dress, as it was on sale. Customer Service has gotten right back to me. After reading these reviews, I consider myself quite lucky.

They take your money but avoid Customer Service refunds and returns.

How can this company have gained special awards in OK? Schayene Silva and Felipe Resende portray a wholesome family image with their pictures they post. If they would only spend time on customer service for their business. There would far less disappointed customers rating them on this site.
I made a purchase and failed to add my promo code for 25% off. My order was over $276.00, $69 discount. Once I realized the promo was not added I called left a message on their voicemail, 10 minutes after completing the purchase. Their message instructs you to reach them through their support email address.
They claim to respond within 24 hours in their marketing emails and voicemail message. I get marketing emails daily and often times more than one a day. I sent an email with the error made. I also stated if they would not add the promo for me to cancel the order.
I have sent 3 emails and 3 voice messages on 12/22-12/24, 12/28 & 12/29. I currently have spent over $500 this year. I can assure you I am now a former customer. I doubt they will respond for a return which will not be a refund of money but a store credit based on other reviews on this platform. I just got the order delivered. They are working to ship out but not to attend to customers.

You Gotta Love It, Credit is Unlikely

This was my first purchase. Looked super cute online. Fit like a sack when I got it. Wanted to return it, and started reading all the ifs, buts, and whys. I knew I had to get credit and they were upfront about this. But then there are all these return rules about the percentage of discounts and the credit you are entitled too and under most circumstances, you can't even get credit. Your final credit is whittled down to nothing. And if it's a sale and markdown, you're going to pay along the line for return shipping and purchase shipping and nearly any discount. Here is my advice: Be very sure you want something before you try it on and getting it "on sale" is a big mistake. You are better off paying full price as a credited return is next to impossible. Luckily, I can sew and I will be redesigning my sack so I can get something out of the $64 dollars I put into this top.

The sizes are all over the place

The sizes are all over the place. I normally wear a 1X, but i ordered a duster that is supposed to accommodate a 3X person. It does not even close over my chest. Get the sizes correct. Just measure & post it as such. 1X is supposed to fit over a 46" breast size. 3X is supposed to accommodate a 50" breast size. Get it right.

Unresponsive Company and Unresolved Gift Card Issue

This company has been completely unresponsive through every form of communication — phone, email, and their website. I have an outstanding gift card that I have been trying to use, but I continue to receive an error message every time I attempt to redeem it. Despite multiple attempts to contact customer service, I have received absolutely no response.

It is unacceptable for a business to ignore its customers and fail to address legitimate issues. The lack of communication and accountability is deeply concerning. If I do not receive a resolution soon, I plan to file formal complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the Consumer Protection Agency.

I strongly advise others to think twice before doing business with this company — it has proven to be untrustworthy and unresponsive.

They said the shirt ran big so I…

They said the shirt ran big so I ordered down. When it was too small I had to pay shipping back. They charged me for city tax twice when we don’t live in the city. When I tried to purchase the same shirt again in a different size they wouldn’t give a first time customer the same price. Such a ripoff. She said I wasn’t the right fit for her company and cancelled the order. So rude. Customer service is terrible. We’ll see if I actually get a refund.

Unique, High Quality Statement Pieces!

After seeing all the negative reviews, I had to leave my experience. I have ordered for at least 2 years (maybe 3) and have what is now a collection of their kimono and dusters along with a few fancier tank tops. Every single piece has been stunning. I am complimented all the time (to the point my husband now talks to others about the piece I am wearing). They take up zero room traveling, work all 4 seasons and I wear them to work instead of blazers and they transition well into evening. Talk about dressing up jeans and an old cotton tank top!!!

I ordered a jacket in XL and that should be way large enough. No, it is too tight to wear. I cannot find a place so that I can exchange it for a larger size. It is no good to me as it is and it was not cheap. You need better customer service. Jeri Senger

Buyer Beware - You are stuck with whatever you buy

Like other reviewers, I was excited to see so many great options in larger sizes, however the inability to return or even exchange something for a different size is RIDICULOUS in an e-commerce world. I have left voicemails and sent emails (48 hours reply? NOT) and they are to no avail. There is ZERO customer service and I strongly advise buying with extreme caution. If you ever waiver between sizes, don't do it. If you buy two of the same thing to decide on a size, you won't get to return the one that doesn't work for anything but a "store credit." And that's if anyone ever replies to you. Good luck with that. Off to report them to the Better Business Bureau....

I’M SO SAD TO SAY….

Most of the clothes that I’ve purchased are AWESOME, albeit slow, refunds (credit on account) are completed. My problem is the communication is shameful! I have been attempting to place an order (over $100) for nearly 2 weeks now, but have an issue with the website. I have tried leaving messages and have emailed and this, unfortunately, has not the first time this has happen which is why I’m considering finding a different company that has similar clothes ~ AHB is not the only company with cute clothes. I’m SO sad ~ I really thought I had found “my” clothing store :(

You are stuck with what you buy! No Customer Service

This company has no customer service which is a shame because I think the clothes are decent quality. I have several items from them that I really like, wear often and have gotten compliments on, and I always tell them where I got it! Quality usually seems fine to me. Only have 2 complaints - their product photos only occasionally show their tops with one or both sleeves raised so you can see how wide/roomy they are; often the 3-4 pictures that are shown of an item are all identical, with sleeves hanging straight down and partially hidden in the fabric of the bodice. I've ordered and returned (at my expense) probably half of my orders due to sleeves that turn out to be too tight because I couldn't see them clearly in the product images. Have suggested a couple times that they have their photographer always take one image showing sleeve size so customers aren't constantly paying shipping both ways in order to see for themselves, but I never got a response. Ladies like me needing large sizes like 3x-5x are gonna have large arms and NEED to see the sleeves. I also don't care for the fact that you can't get a refund, only store credit.

Apparently no quality control!

Should have checked them out before I ordered...now I am probably out $125...
Ordered three blouses. When they arrived, they were pretty...but SO much smaller than the website's size chart stated, it was ridiculous. All three shirts were ordered in a size that said it had a 42" bust...but I could barely squeeze them over my 37" bust. Got on their site to start a return, to discover that they ONLY issue store credits, no refunds....and the shirts I ordered are no longer available in larger sizes (that I would have to guess at anyway, since their size chart is bullsh*t). I sent them an email about this, they said they would get back to me within 48 hours...but from the other reviews I've read here, I doubt that and am concerned that they won't even come through with the store credit. Total scam. Stay away from them.

Back again!

Back again after receiving my 4th order. Bought an "on sale" blouse and a crochet blouse. BOTH are absolutely beautiful. The on sale blouse had one difference from what was viewed on their website. Instead of a royal blue, the color was more of a blueish, grey, blue. I actually liked it better. It will be beautiful with blue jeans. The quality is top notch. The fabric looks to be a polyester crepe. Has a
fluidity in the fabric when you move. When it comes to all the blouses from AHB.....EVERY SINGLE ONE should be washed by hand, in cold water with a good liquid detergent (Woolite) and air dried for the ultimate best results!

Ordered 2 blouses

Ordered 2 blouses, 1 medium, 1 large - neither fit. Even if they had fit I would have returned them. Very cheaply made. I cannot imagine they would make it through a wash. Of course, no money back - only store credit. Boy was I stupid! quality is terrible....don't buy here.

No customer service

I want to make a purchase but have questions before ordering. I left a message on their website with their promise to get back to me within 24-48 hours but did not. I called and left a message. I asked for assistance on their Facebook page.

I own 2 businesses and am the founder of a nonprofit organization and I must say this is the worst example of customer service before the sale. No response gives me no confidence, and after reading the other reviews about Angel Heart on Trustpilot, all of my apprehension has been confirmed. Too bad, I liked the fashions shown. What a shame.

I ordered online from this company

I ordered online from this company, via a Facebook ad. Wow, not what I expected to encounter in terms of lack of customer service. They sent me a product that is 4 inches smaller than what they themselves published on their site. Then expected me to fill out an archaic paper return form and pay for shipping myself-- when they gave me faulty merchandise to begin with. No refund of money, just a gift card to come back to them and maybe go through the same experience again and again and pay my own shipping. Not a company I can ever recommend. Oh and if you confront them on Facebook, they just block you and delete you from expressing your opinion and experiences with them. So sad for those who will be taken by this company. Update-- this company has changed their business name to Life is Chic and also their Facebook page, etc.
