The best form of cure is prevention. When heart disease, cancer, dementia or metabolic diseases take hold they shorten our lies and destroy our quality of life. We want to be at the front lines of preventing these diseases, minimising the risks of our client getting them and even reversing them for those who may already have some health complications. The High Performance Health Program was founded by me - Andrew Marsham. I started out as an engineer working for defence manufacturer BAE Systems in Glasgow. After several promotions and a look at my corporate world future, I did not like what the future held. I had started my own health journey in 2011. I weighed 120lbs and had a sagging belly. I was “skinny fat”. I made my own radical transformation and became obsessed with health, nutrition and longevity. So when I no longer seen a definitive path in the corporate world I started my own fitness coaching program in 2018 after becoming certified as a trainer and nutritionist while working at BAE Systems. I built the business up over 2.5 years while working full time and then took a leap of faith in 2020 to go all in on my passion - Health Coaching. Our team is comprised of 19 full time employees which includes 9 dedicated and highly qualified coaches with more than 190 years experience between us.

This experience has taught me everything I was doing wrong. By having me log all of the food and drink that goes into my body and combining it with weight workouts that were challenging but that truly made me stronger and grew muscle. It's worthwhile just for that.
I explored many different fitness companies when I stumbled upon HPH in March ‘26. I could not articulate exactly what I was looking for when exploring various fitness and health coaching services, but HPH felt right. The team did not present sales gimmicks or pressure me to join on the spot but listened to me. They heard my struggles and what I was looking to achieve. I was matched with my coach, Scott, within a couple of days and my intro session was scheduled. Scott is amazing. I was looking to make significant changes in my diet and Scott allowed me the space to adjust. He developed a training plan to kick start my transition to the version of me I wanted; healthier, stronger, more energized. Scott holds me accountable, partners with me to progress my goals, and is an all around great individual. The community HPH has created is supportive and provides a thoughtful experience in supporting my health and wellness journey.

I was recommended to High Performance Health in late 2025 from a good friend of mine already in the program. He found success with HPH, and I was in need of some life changes as I approach fifty. I have always been in relatively good shape, but poor eating and repeating twenty-year-old gym workouts simply stopped working. I was starting to get a belly, and my digestive system was failing from poor eating and processed foods. It was time.
I started with HPH on 1/1/26 and was excited to be coached by Kyle Patterson (who was highly recommended to me). Kyle's incredibly smart, hard-working and relatable. Most importantly, he cares. He listened to my issue and goals and together we built a program around them. Kyle was able to quickly fix my GI issues with a mix of supplements and dietary changes. I felt better than I had in ten years. I also enjoyed my workouts and balance of weights and cardio. The app makes it easy to track everything and takes the guesswork out. The app along with Kyle kept me honest.
I'm now five months into the program and my life has changed. My digestive issues are resolved and I'm stronger than I've ever been in my life. I've lost 20 pounds (190 to 170) while building muscle. Any fat I had is gone. I’m excited to keep it going.
HPH works. Of course it takes hard work, but HPH has found the perfect mix of expert coaching and technology to make the program a long-term solution. I'm grateful for Kyle for the time he gives me and would recommend this program to anyone that will listen.

The program has been awesome! I love that it works with my everyday life. My husband and I have done this together and it has worked well for our work travel and busy lives. The exercises are a great combination of cardio and weights. Our coach David has been amazing and inspires us to stay the course! With his guidance I have lost over 25 pounds and feel healthier than I have ever felt. My husband has lost over 30 pounds. The weight training has made the biggest difference. Colin Hughes is the best. Encouraging yet firm in telling you when you are slacking. Helps you find solutions or overcome your barriers. True wisdom and coaching partner, pushes you when you need a kick in the pants and a hand up when you are about to throw in the towel at a plateau. He is the real deal no fads, just comes along side of you to make sure you deliver.
Really happy I chose to do this program. I’m eating better, sleeping better, and I love the workouts. My trainer Kyle has taught me so much in the gym, on healthy eating habits, and gives me the right amount of push each week. If you are struggling to get started and need a little extra accountability, this program will give you the tools and support you need to build long sustainable healthy habits!

James is the best online strength coach. I was skeptical that an online coach could really deliver the personal attention you’d get in person — James completely changed that. He understands that as an interventional cardiologist, my schedule is unpredictable and physically demanding — and he programs around that reality, not despite it. He collaborated with my physical therapist to work through issues I was dealing with, kept me accountable to my protein and nutritional goals, and was smart about not letting me push too hard — protecting me from injury and burnout in the process. Every plan is tailored specifically for you, and he’s always dialed into your progress. No cookie-cutter plans. His coaching feels genuinely personal even through a screen, and my strength gains speak for themselves. If you’re looking for an online coach who actually shows up for you, James is it.
Working with the High Performance Health team has been one of the most positive experiences I have had with personal coaches/trainers. Their ability to understand my athletic goals as well as my individual challenges, strengths and motivations has been second to none. It’s not cookie cutter. It’s personal training and nutrition goals that meet me where I am.
I have worked with James for several months and I find him to be thoughtful, knowledgeable and motivating. Great to work with. Was able to lose weight, which is nice, and build strength, which was essential. Allowed me to sustainably transition the sedentary path I was on to one of strength and health for decades. The accountability aspect of the coach was essential for success. I was hesitant about the cost and time commitment, but it was worth every penny for the life improvements I got out of it and they make the timing work within your schedule. They are the start of your journey, not the end, but how you start matters.

I took a leap of faith and joined this awesome program early in 2026. I am relatively fit but needed coaching on taking my fitness to the next step. James is my coach- he is knowledgeable and attentive, adjusting the plan based on my goals and life circumstances. He has pushed me in areas where I was intimidated (squats, bench press, etc) and taught me the importance of consistency and patience. I am feeling way more confident at the gym and have put on some solid muscle! As with any program-- you will get out what you put in!

I joined the program so that I could get into better shape. I made a considerable sacrifice given the expense of the program. So far, the expense has paid off. James Covington is my trainer and he's great. He's personable. He holds me accountable and we have frank discussions on what I need to do to improve my health. So far, the investment is paying off. When I joined the program, I was diabetic. Since joining, my A1C has dropped to pre-diabetic levels. I'm no longer taking metformin. I'm working to lower my weight. I recommend program.

I have last 30 lbs in 6 months working with High Performance Health. This group has helped me get focused on my eating habits and exercise while maintaining a very active work and personal life.
