Limited customer service hours

Why is it that this utility company restricts its customer service call number to regular office hours? How can they assume customers to take care of private business during our working time? Can they not establish a hotline also on weekends to allow customers to handle queries in their private time?

On 4/11/2025, Andeli sent this reply to my trustpilot review:

I apologize that you do not find our customer service to be sufficiently accessible. We are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. If you are unable to call during these hours, you are always welcome to send us an email at kundeservice @ andelenergi"

And here is my reply: Andeli's rationale is similar to asking a customer to have two meals a day because the restaurant will not open for dinner. Well, someone else will. It seems counterintuitive that you ask the customer to sacrifice his/her work productivity so that Andeli does not have to hire a few more customer service staff to allow for calls to be made outside of regular office hours. As a service provider, you adapt to your customers needs (understood this is not a wanton claim but a general concern), not the other way around.
