Was super excited to try the black seed oil and tallow balm as it was described to be very good for clearing acne. I struggle with a decent amount of acne so gave it a try and 2 weeks into it saw no positive changes to my skin. Rather, I was breaking out more and found my skin only to be looking worse. At that point I had to stop it, and while it may simply be due to my skin type (as to why it didn’t work), I’m still disappointed I spent nearly $60 to see worse results than what I originally started with before even using the product.

I absolutely love the tallow and honey balm. I have mature skin, no breakouts ever, thankfully, just a tendency towards dryness. This balm is the best moisturiser I've ever used. I love it. I use it in the morning and night time. Ordering more now.

Dry Body Oil Review

The oil is lovely and absorbs quickly leaving the skin looking moisturized but not greasy. BUT because of the essential oils in it, it’s not safe to wear in the sun. Which is a bit disappointing. Because of that I won’t be buying it again.

However, I’ve been using their unscented tallow lotions and deodorant and love them! Those items I keep going back for.

As an avid Tropic user for over 10 years, I was sceptical about changing my skincare. However, this brand kept popping up on my Facebook feed, and I really liked the whole back-to-basics approach of using tallow. So, I thought, “Why not?” and decided to give it a try.

I’d seen a few reviews saying it made people’s skin break out, and to be fair, that can happen with any new skincare product your skin isn’t used to. For me, it was about trusting the process, so I wanted to give it a proper trial before leaving a review.

I’m so glad I did because, honestly, it’s been amazing. My skin looks and feels healthier, has a lovely natural glow, and I’ve definitely noticed a reduction in my fine lines and wrinkles. I’ve even had people tell me they think I’m much younger than I am, which is always a bonus!

I ordered the Original Tallow & Honey Balm back in February, and I’m still using the same jar, so a little really does go a long way. I’ve now ordered the Cleansing Balm to try, and I’m gradually replacing my Tropic products with yours.

It’s been refreshing to make a change, and the fact that your products are more affordable is an added bonus. I genuinely couldn’t be happier with the results!!

Absolute miracle cream! I’ve used multiple brands of tallow but this has to be the best, specifically the clarifying cream. I recently had a terrible reaction to deodorant leaving my underarms with dermatitis that was on and off for months, as well as a breakout of eczema across my stomach. After feeling itchy and low for a while, the clarifying cream cleared up most of the rashes in a week! I finally have comfortable underarms. Could not recommend this product enough and would love to see it in a larger size in the future

All I can say is MAGIC in the jar. My skin is very sensitive and I tried all the expensive creams. Nothing works. Tallow balm was my first -amazing!!!! Sunburn -sorted, takes away pain and leaves the skin soft and undamaged. Skin rush, getting better with every apply, dry skin..no more. Facial..omg, my face never felt so good. It's works for absolutely everything.. you name it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!

Started with adult acne to the point it was leaving scars. Haven’t had any since using these products. Best skincare product I’ve ever used and delivery was extremely quick. Couldn’t recommend more if I tried! A million stars! 🌟

After my return was delivered, I had to follow up to request my refund. The company issued only a partial refund. When I inquired about the missing amount, I was told they had received only two of the three items I returned.

I wanted to wait until I had been using the product over three months to give an honest review. I was worried about using the tallow as I have large pores and was worried about them getting clogged but I had nothing to worry about! It’s a fantastic product, my skin is plumper, fine lines are smoother and my complexion is better. I use the yellow honey tallow and it’s definitely worth the money. Such a great product I have ordered more.

Bought the tallow and black seed oil. I’ve been using for 2 months and it’s helped my psoriasis significantly. Just about to order my 2nd pot. No steroids used since using this product. Would recommend 👍🏻

I bought my second purchase of 3 jars. I really like the first. One of the 3 in the second purchase was quite dried out- Travis on their service team refused to replace so any satisfaction level they claim to provide is a lie. You get what you get and if you get a bad jar it’s your problem. Buyer beware here.

I got the tallow balm. I put it on at night and my face was glowing the next morning. I was even more pleased when someone said my skin looked nicetoday at work :) It smells lovely too. I love the adversiting, great job. The cleanser just popped up on my fb feed so ill be likely getting that next too. Thank you

I recently bought the Tallow and Honey Balm. The delivery was very fast. I only used it four times, but it caused my face to break out with acne.
If you don't usually have problems with breakouts and have dry skin, this product may work well for you. However, I would not recommend it for oily or acne-prone skin.
I also bought a deodorant from ancestralcosmetics. but unfortunately I was not impressed with that product either.

I cant say enough good things about this product. I was a little dubious and reluctant to spend this amount of money on a little pot of skin cream but im glad i did. It works wonders, smells lovely and the weeniest bit goes a long way. Worth every penny, i reccommend giving it a try.

I bought the unscented original and have been using it for four months now. I bought it for dry patches and it works as a moisturising balm, but the true miracle is I accidentally discovered that it’s excellent on the lips. I suffer from dry lips that peel if I don’t put lip balm on and this is by far the best hands down when it comes to prevent them from peeling. I like that it’s multipurpose. My partner has also become a fan.

Recently started using Tallow and Honey balm from Ancestral Cosmetics and it is brilliant. My skin is glowing and looks really healthy.

It's nice and feels great on my skin. However, has it done anything to my skin? Not really. Not sure if I'll purchase again, will finish the jar and then decide. I have nothing bad to say about the product, just thought I'd give my honest review.

Was worried about wasting more money on skincare espically after trying an alternative tallow brand first that made my skin react. I messaged before buying and was met with exceptional customer service recommended the unscented one and explained his differences to other brands. Knowing the potential of tallow being carnivore diet I was hoping this would be the one after 25 years searching for something. It was everything I wanted and needed it to be. Completely different texture and smell to other brand and after applying my skin feels like silk. Such beutiful well made product and can tell app of love and care goes into every product. Thank for giving me a natural skin care that works!

I have been using the original tallow and honey balm for a month now, on my face, dry skin areas such as knees and on some skin rashes on my arms that would not go, despite twelve different creams and pills from the drs. It is amazing the difference and hydration in my skin. I’ve just received the charcoal and tallo cleanser, using it before a shower and I have never had such hydrated skin after a shower! Not blotchy redness on my face, no dry tight skin. I had exceptional customer service when Royal Mail messed up my delivery also. Highly recommend. Give them a go.

Had absolutely no issues with shipping and it arrived quickly. Packaged well and nice face balm. It works really well under makeup, especially for filling in early fine lines as a sort of primer (but only using a little). I do think the sort of advertising used gives you the impression it's anti-aging, but actually the ingredients used aren't amazing, as in beef tallow and oils won't do much more than hydrate your skin rather than work effectively for anti-aging. I would look for a cheap moisturiser and decent retinol next time, but it does smell good and feels okay on my skin.
