A great phone for an older person

A great phone for an older person who just needs to talk and talk and talk at people. However, she did show much disappointment that it wasn't a 'smartphone' and she couldn't find any porn on it

I wish I never had bought from your…

I wish I never had bought from your company. I have with experienced people wasted time trying to pair your new 2 phones with my old one and have returned your phones yesterday. I want my money back. In addition your help desk which is open very few hours a day is impossible to reach. Will not reccomend your company. B. Walters

We are sorry to hear of your disappointment with the phones you have recently purchased.

We would, however, like to clarify that following your contact with our team, we provided pairing instructions, a copy of the user manual and further troubleshooting assistance in an effort to resolve the issue. When this did not resolve the problem, we also arranged for a free returns label to be sent to you by post, as we understood you were unable to print one yourself.

As a retailer, we are unfortunately unable to carry out technical testing over the telephone. For this reason, where a fault is suspected, the product must be returned so that it can be properly inspected and tested. We also provided the manufacturer's contact details, as they may be able to offer additional technical guidance directly.

We understand this was not the immediate resolution you were hoping for, but please be assured that the return was arranged with the intention of ensuring the matter could be fully investigated and, where appropriate, resolved through a replacement or refund.

We are sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations and thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention.

Finally, also note we await your return and that we hope to be able to resolve your query promptly.

useful website.

It really helped that all your telephones are digital-suitable. Easy-ish for this non-techie to set up for blind friend, only gripe was that the diagram showing what should be in the box wasn't numbered so |I wasn't sure which cable was which. .. I still have one left over. But it works, which was the point.

Absolute criminals

Absolute criminals. Received a phone that was barely usable and returned for refund within 14 day window as per online selling regulations. They claimed it was damaged and after cleaning it there were marks that wouldn't come off. Eventually we had to pay for them to post it back. When recieved, we polished the screen with a cloth and there is not a single mark on it. It is in the same condition as we received it in. It is perfectly resealable. This company clearly prey on the vulnerable. My mother is severely vision impaired and we thought we had found a phone she could use. Instead she is £150 out of pocket. Avoid at all costs.
REPLY..... THAT IS AN ABSOLUTE LIE. THERE IS NOT A SINGLE MARK ON IT ANYWHERE. I HAVE PHOTOS AS PROOF. AGAIN SHOWING HOW UNTRUSTWORTHY THIS COMPANY IS

We appreciate you bringing your concerns to our attention, and we are very sorry to hear about the frustration this situation has caused.

Our returns team thoroughly inspected and tested the device upon its arrival at our warehouse. While no technical faults were identified during testing, our team noted marks on the screen and camera lens, signs of use on the charging base, and damage to the original packaging. For these reasons, the item did not meet the required criteria to be returned to our stock for resale.

We must adhere strictly to our published returns policy when items are not returned in their original condition, which is why we were unable to process a full refund.

We understand this is disappointing news, but the decision remains final based on the assessment of the phone.

Since the device has now been returned and is back in your possession, we would still love to help however we can. If your mother needs any assistance setting up or using the phone to best suit her needs, please do not hesitate to contact our helpdesk.

One of the phones doesn't work

One of the phones doesn't work. It repeatedly says out of range and the battery doesn't charge properly. The instructions leaflet is lousy too. Not easy for my elderly mum who is the customer.

No loud enough

No loud enough. My mother can not hear people talking on it .

phones had lots of problems i’d on…

phones had lots of problems i’d on charge all night and showing 3 bars charge but when incoming call came the battery was flat
i complained and sent one phone back for check was told there was no problem and i’d have to pay for its return
the othef 2 otherphones showing same fault, i’ve disposed of them and bought 3 new panasonic phones which are working well
i found customer support at amplified poor and almost rude

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you remain dissatisfied with your experience.

To clarify, the handset returned to us was tested by our returns team and no fault was identified during inspection. The handset powered on correctly, responded to button presses, and operated as expected during the testing that was possible. However, only a single handset was returned to us, without the base unit, charger or remaining handsets, which meant we were unable to carry out comprehensive testing of the full system or investigate the charging issue described across the other units.

Furthermore, we remained in contact throughout the process and explained that, in order to properly assess the reported issue, the remaining equipment would need to be returned for further testing.

Despite this, and in an effort to avoid further inconvenience, we ultimately advised that no further action would be required and arranged for the returned handset to be disposed of at our cost.

We are sorry that you felt our customer service fell short on this occasion, however we do respectfully disagree with the suggestion that assistance was not provided. Our team responded throughout the matter in line with our stated returns and testing procedures and attempted to help resolve the issue based on the items made available to us for inspection.

Poor service and communication

Paid for express delivery. Delivered to wrong address and amplified technology initial said I needed to wait it was being delivered via Royal Mail, which was incorrect. Had to chase multiple times to eventually receive goods over one week later. Terrible customer service. They offered to refund express delivery charge, but still nothing received. For a company selling communication devices their customer communication is awful.

You are correct that there was a mix-up in our first response regarding Royal Mail and we are sorry for the confusion it caused while tracking your parcel.

Regarding your refund for the express delivery charges, this was processed on our system on March 31st. Depending on your bank's processing times, this usually takes up to 5 working days to appear on your account. We have double-checked this at our end and can confirm the transaction was successful.

We are glad that the parcel was eventually delivered to you on April 9th, but we recognize this was well outside the service level you expected.
