I bought a shift knob, the recommended adapter for the vehicle. When I received the package I went to install and realized the adapter didn’t work and the actual knob where the shift knob screws in was not deep enough. So I called to get a return label sent. Ben answered the phone and as soon as I said I wanted to return he started trying to get me not to which is fine, I understand that’s his job. After me telling him I only wanted to return that it wouldn’t work he kept insisting I needed a different adapter. Finally he got mad and told me it would be a .25 % restocking fee and he would email me a return label. I got the return label to find out I have to pay to send it back as well. It was a very dissatisfying and disappointing situation as well as customer service. Would not recommend this company to anyone. I am even a repeat customer but that didn’t seem to matter at all. If I return it would only get half back of $109 spent after restock charge and return shipping.

Funniest shift knobs around. I am always looking for unique shift knobs for my customers and American Shifter never lets me down. The caricatures they have are very distinct and will add a extra something to anyone's vehicle.

I just picked me up a 350TH transmission. Installed like it should and is driving like a champ. Customer service was top notch and they didn't stop helping until I was done. They even have a tech department that can help with things.

I am impressed with there big catalog of shift knobs. They have some real interesting ones that I have never seen before. Pretty much anything shifting or transmission related can be found here.
