Just completed our 2nd cruise on ACL. First was Florida Gulf Coast & Keys, the 2nd was the Cape Codder. A truly excellent experience on both. Top notch customer service, excursions, dining and enterta... See more

The entrie staff made it easy to enjoy this trip.
Cruise Director Jessica and waiter Gavanni ( I can not spell so I hope you can figure it out)
The overall process of selecting the cruise, ease of booking, updates pre-cruise, selection of adventures, size and atmosphere of the cruise ship and individual room, quality of the food, service, and just overall experience. We enjoyed our cruise very much!
The staff were efficient and friendly, the on-board entertainment was fantastic, and the accommodations were superb.
Had a great cruise in every way. My only complaint was that cocktail hour should start at 5:00, not 5:30.
We enjoyed the hands on service by all the crew, including the Captain! Impressed by their willingness to help at all times while not being pesty.
Food was First class!! Even the snack bar on the 3rd floor outside was excellent.
We love ACL - the crew is always amazing and the cabins and balconies are outstanding, especially the suites.

This cruise in lower Alaska through the Juneau intercostal waterways was absolutely breathtaking taking!
ACL got us right up to a couple glaciers and we also had some daily excursions to see other glaciers. Wonderful captain, officers and support staff!
The food onboard was absolutely delicious and the entertainment with Gosia & Ali was fabulous.
Our cruise featured an onboard historian who was also a wood carving artist and his knowledge was incredible!
I highly recommend this cruise and cruise line, especially if you enjoy cruising with under 200 passengers.
A bonus is that this ship also had 2 washer & dryer machines if you needed to take care of a little laundry.
Good staff, we had Fredia Thornton most meals in the dining room and she was delightful. She just had something special about her, easy smile and laughted with us. So much fun. Your staff, all in all worked very hard yo please.
Also staff on floor 4 in housekeeping never seemed to take a break, constantly cleaning and always wearing smiles.
We prefer crusing on smaller vessels and we will take that into considerstion for our next venture with ACL.
One other thing. The land part of out trip to Denali National Park and beyond was perfection!!!
Andrew, Jake and Tama what a team❤️
A small ship with big time attention to details! Great staff & comfortable surroundings.
The whole experience was great. The excursions, the food, the size of the rooms.

I prefer cruising with Bill and Laura because they add great spirit to the experience. I also appreciate the other staff because they add an attitude of old friends getting together. It’s like a great family reunion.
Thank You!
The small ship experience, the fantastic crew and the whold adventure was superb.
Complete satisfaction! Facilities, staff & crew were all excellent. Rooms were quiet and comfortable. Food was above average in taste and presentation, served by outstanding individuals. We enjoyed the variety of the nightly entertainment as well as the optional excursions. Another small ship cruise is definitely in our future vacation plans.
Your staff was so friendly and helpful. Our room was kept immaculate. The food was wonderful and we enjoyed the drinks and food upstairs and at the restaurant.

I already filled out the survey so review that. We have told many people about American Cruise Line and we know of one couple that went on it and loved it and another couples thinking about it but we’ve told many many. And one of the first things someone say it’s so expensive and then we explain everything is included. It doesn’t nickel dime you like the big cruise lines. It is worth every penny you pay to take American Cruise Line. And one of our favorite things is the historians that you have on every ship every cruise and on the Mississippi we had Mark Twain up on the Chesapeake we had been Franklin and it’s just very historical and sometimes just very fun when they bring on the characters. So please check out our survey.
The staff was very hospitable, but were not either a) very experienced or b) very well trained. Far more importantly:
1) Our toilet did not work when needed, often flushing in the middle of the night and interrupting our sleep. Texted a message to the hotel manager but got no response.
2) The newly installed captain sailed the ship through seas rough enough to send every item in our cabin that wasn't anchored flying - off tables, off the desk, off countertops. We were literally thinking what clothes we'd want to wear before we put our life jackets. The only way we stayed in bed was by literally holding on to the mattress. Submitted a message reporting this on the ship's app; no response.
3) We discovered that a drawer where my wife had put some of her clothes was infested with mites - too small to see but caused very annoying itching around your face and hair. We both experienced this and actually left the cruise after two nights to wash our clothes (flying from Martha's Vineyard to Boston). After we arrived back home, we spent days trying to get rid of these mites, from washing to insect spray with clothes spread all over the driveway. Ten days later, they're gone.
4) We wrote this experience to "Customer Service" (oxymoron) and, after threatening to have an attorney follow up, received an email essentially saying "not our problem".
There were other problems, but minor in comparison, so we'll let those go.
We've sailed many, many times and never had a complaint. Our ACL experience was a nightmare.
I have already sent in my review, but I forgot to mention Jesus (sp?), who was very friendly and helpful as were the others I mentioned.
