Ambela is truly an amazing brand.
I have purchased two items from them this year, a pair of shorts and their new relaxed mum jeans. Both items have surprised me and made me feel so understood and also fall in love with jeans again. As a mum of three with an ever changing body, I hated wearing denim. The feel of them being too tight, too hot and suffocating like the jeans were quite literally sucking the moisture out of your skin, jeans were just uncomfortable. I saw Ambela on Instagram and their founder Cerys constantly showing them off and I honestly kept debating on buying them as they were very expensive and I was scared that it would be too good to be true. After the 100th video, I caved and honestly, I will never shop anywhere else for denim, they are soft, comfortable and YES you can literally do the splits in them without them pinching or tightening. With my mummy tummy I feel so comfortable and supported and honestly these jeans, I tell everyone about and if your struggling with your tummy in jeans please don’t hesitate, for the price it might seem expensive but you will want to wear them all the time and in girl math if I wear these every day from now till next summer they are basically free.

Perfect denim shorts, even can take a nap in them.

Love the denim. As a life long fatty I have struggled to find denim that fits well.

Then I was introduced to Ambela and it all changed! I’ve got a skort which is so comfortable and looks nice. The shorts underneath make me feel comfortable and do the job! Just ordered some shorts and I am so pleased with them too. Nice length very soft/comfortable denim.

In regards to ordering I found it easy, I would prefer a search mode that only shows on stock rather than what you can buy but it’s not the end of the world.

Item arrived in less than a week. All fully trackable. Yes it’s on the higher side cost wise but to actually have some comfortable denim which actually fits is the bonus. I really love the back adjustment as that’s often where I have issues with gapping.

The best shorts I have ever owned, since they have arrived I have refused to take them off. They are literally perfect for anything and the price is so worth it. Can’t wait for the skirt to be back in stock and definitely going to order more shorts

this crazy hot summer finally got me desperate for some shorts and there was a discount. Wish I had bought them at the beginning of the summer! So flattering and comfortable. Wash well. So good, great job Carys

I'm 11 weeks postpartum and in desperate need of jeans that feel comfortable on my body especially after a c section. I bought 2 sizes of the Ambela straight leg jeans and one of the new denim jacket. I was blown away by the quality and comfort of all the items. The jeans were so comfortable and I even had to return my order to downsize by 2 sizes as they were really comfortable and feel happy they would fit now when I have shifted the baby weight. The quality is honestly the best. I don't think I've felt as comfortable in a pair of jeans ever!! The stretch on them is amazing without giving the look of them being stretchy jeans. 10/10
I also highly rate the returns process. It has all been so smooth and easy! The products are well worth the money!! Can't recommend them enough!

Quick delivery. Good quality stretchy shorts. Ordered my normal size 12 and have to say they were a bit big (more round the legs and Im not a thin legged girl) so ordered down a size. This is the first pair of shorts I've worn outside in years but i feel confident enough in these. They are a nice length.....worry about my older legs. I like the fact they can be adjusted but I find the buckle a little uncomfortable on my back.....cant have everything I guess. Feel like these will last so expensive but worth it.

I bought a pair of vintage blue shorts in May after thinking about it for a few weeks, given the cost. Im between sizes and bought the bigger size as while I do like my jeans tighter, to give a more sculpting fit, I think shorts are better a bit bigger. They were a bit big but I loved them, however I was actively trying to lose weight and once I’d lost another stone they were too big so sold them on Vinted and bought a pair with the new raw hem. These seem to be slightly longer, which I do prefer, and a better fit on me. They are super comfy and I expect they’ll last forever. I have lipoedema, and wear compression tights, and if you can’t hide it make a thing of it as they say, so I wear my compression under the shorts and think it looks quite groovy (as groovy as wearing this kind of thing can look anyway). Delivery with both pairs was very quick.

I also have 2 pairs of straight leg jeans, which I bought off Vinted, which I love. I often have to buy wide leg with stage 3 lipoedema but these fit really well and aren’t too tight on my lumpy legs like many straight leg jeans are.

Both the jeans and the shorts have a buckle at the back of the waistband to tighten it to prevent gaping. While this is a great idea this buckle does dig in when I sit in certain chairs, most noticeably the car. Sadly I’d not be able to wear them if driving any length of time as it digs right into my spine, hence 4 stars. This wouldn’t stop me purchasing again though.

Absolutely love my raw hem shorts.
I was unsure at first due to the price, but I am so glad I bought them. They are a great length, so much stretch. I’m between a 16 & 18 and took a punt with the 16, they fit me perfectly and love the idea of being able to pull in the waist as I lose more weight. 💯 recommend.
Delivery was quick and they were packaged up really well.
I bought the shorts in vintage blue and the colour is perfect.
Looking at ordering the jeans next!

Ordered the denim jacket and it’s perfect in every way and just as described and shown online. Veryyyy happy. Haven’t actually worn anything else as a jacket since it’s been delivered. Also paid through Klarna which was a game changer for me so looking forward to purchasing some jeans now 👌🏼

Bought the raw hem shorts in size 8 and they were tiny!!!
Smaller than my high street shorts 🤷‍♀️
No give in the waist area at all.

I buy size 8 clothing but a size 8 in Ambels shorts felt way too tight on me.
I was very surprised.

I also bought the denim jacket, but I found it was too heavy for me and the long length in the arm, didn’t look right on me at all 🙈

The shorts arrived quickly and were well packaged. The fit is true to size and they look and feel great to wear.

So comfortable, perfect length for a mini and love the shorts underneath.

I ummed and arred over buying a skort and I'm so glad i did it. I bought the vintage blue and it is so so comfortable, flattering and although I've only had it a week it's appeared on my instagram page #taraslooksforless a few times already. It washed like a dream. Now I'd like the denim jacket. It's next paydays purchase

Great product, fast postage. Jeans fit beautifully as do the shorts. Sizing is accurate and I trusted the products would arrive. Communication through postage was excellent. Wish there was a sale so I could buy more! Can’t fault them.

I can finally wear a denim skirt comfortably all day long! May as well be wearing pyjamas it’s so comfy! Only thing I’d criticise is the shorts in the skort ride up but suppose, if they were any tighter they may not be as cozy … maybe need a grippy edge?
Otherwise, best clothing purchase I’ve made in a LONG time!
