This was poor from start to finish. We booked the Cotswold mystery weekend, confined the date we wanted was available twice before we paid for it, booked it and didn’t hear anything for two weeks. We then emailed them to find out what was going on, for them to say “I know it must be frustrating, but unfortunately the date you booked isn’t available and that’s why you haven’t heard from us”, I mean that’s poor customer service in itself. We went back and forward and they offered us a Premium picnic upgrade free of charge. Then we thought the matter was resolved.
We went to check-in to the hotel to be asked to pay as payment is required on arrival. I said we had already paid through AmazingCo, to which they said payment is only accepted on arrival and that we would need to sort it out with the company. So, we rang AmazingCo again and notified them of another issue. After many questions they then proceeded to resolve the issue. This took an hour of us going back and forward. The hotel was nice and the food was good, what was interesting is the hotel bill was £154, not the £242 that we were charged through AmazingCo.
The next day we did the picnic. The Cotswolds were lovely and the villages were very picturesque, although we couldn’t stop at the last stop as it was too busy and there were no parking spaces. However, with a premium upgrade the picnic cost £110. For this the food was incredibly underwhelming, and I would have expected a lot better. For £110 we received: a plain baguette, cheddar cheese, box of crackers, 2 x sausage rolls, 2 x chocolate brownies, a chickpea salad and 2 x cans of soft drink. We found this quality and quantity appalling.
We have done the Dorking picnic before, the quality and quantity of that picnic was miles better value for money.
All in this experience cost £316. I wouldn’t ever book with this company again
This was such a fun time! My husband and I really enjoyed the day out and the food was delicious!
My wife and I recently did the Amazing Co Mystery Picnic, and it turned out to be exactly what we needed.
It gave us a rare chance to step away from the day-to-day chaos of life with kids and just enjoy some uninterrupted time together. We spent the day solving clues, figuring out where to go next, and actually having fun working as a team again — something that’s easy to lose in the routine of everyday life.
One of the highlights was simply slowing down. We ended up walking through the botanical gardens, talking properly, and just enjoying each other’s company without distractions.
Overall, it was a genuinely great experience — a mix of fun, connection, and a bit of adventure. If you’re looking for something different to do as a couple, it’s well worth it.
Had an awesome time exploring new areas, eating different food and connecting with my husband. Recommend this experience.
The food choice and quality was amazing! There was a lot of food and no way could we get through it all! We did drive between destinations though and kind of glad we did as they were quite far between each other and could be hard to carry everything! Would also be good to have the meats/cheese near the end so it wouldn’t go warm? But overall 5 star and would highly recommend! 😊
Such a fun and lighthearted experience, with enjoyable challenges along the way. I especially appreciated that every stop featured local businesses—it made the activity feel authentic and community-focused.
Finishing with a relaxing picnic was the perfect reward. Highly recommended!
So this was a present that was gifted to me and we chose to use it for the Hyde Park AmazingCo day.
We followed the clues and stopped for a drink along the way to decipher our next clue.
There was a lot of walking so we were glad it wasn’t too hot, but after all the unbelievable food we got to eat along the way it was burned off pretty quickly.
I was would highly recommend doing one of these as a date day and a way to reconnect with your loved one
This was a fantastic experience. The clues were fun to solve but there were ways around them if too hard. It was fun to go to different places and collect a variety of produce. All staff at each establishment were very friendly. The food was delicious and the final picnic spot was beautiful and well chosen. A really delightful way to explore the Yarra Valley. Already booked our next picnic for Mother’s Day!
Just an Amazing experience.
Would love to do it again
Very well organised and clues were good and the places of interest were fantastic.
I received the Mystery Picnic gift for my birthday from my daughter. My husband and I did the Mystery Picnic to the Macedon Ranges. What a terrific experience!! We absolutely loved it. Solving the puzzles was great, such a lot of fun. We visited places we had never been to before and got to know some of the lovely local businesses as well. The produce we got to try was amazing and at the same time getting to help the local businesses as well. I have kept the details so that we can do this road trip again and visit this lovely businesses and places again. I highly recommend this mystery picnic, what a great idea!!
What a lovely experience! So easy to follow and everything was so well planned! Great experiences and delicious food!
Great day despite the rain! Lovely produce and fun games.
We had a great day out in the Hunter Valley with our mystery picnic. It was our anniversary, and we were given many questions about our relationship to make our day special.
The clues were not too hard to solve, and there was plenty of time to add extra stops to the game.
Had the best time exploring some amazing rooftop bars! It is a great way to explore the city and experience a fun evening.
We had a fun and beautiful picnic adventure in the Perth Hills. We opted for the premium package, and the extra inclusions made this extra special. Would highly recommend this experience.
Super disappointing and exhausting experience. We spent $160 plus fuel for a 90km round trip, only to end up at a very underwhelming picnic location—especially frustrating given we started in one of the most beautiful areas on the Central Coast.
The itinerary felt poorly planned. We were directed to have ice cream first, which would have made far more sense as a final stop. By the time we reached the picnic spot, the only standout item was the focaccia from Burnt Honey. Otherwise, the food offering was minimal—just dip, a small olive/eggplant/sundried tomato cup, crackers, and chips.
We also stopped at the Little Creek Cheese factory to taste four cheeses, but then had to purchase our own for the picnic, which felt unnecessary given the cost of the experience.
Having to drive from Copacabana to Wyong and surrounding areas made the day feel more like a long, disjointed road trip rather than a relaxing picnic. For $160, this did not represent good value. A picnic experience should feel seamless and enjoyable—not rushed and scattered, ending in an uninspiring location.
Unfortunately, we wouldn’t do this again.
I did with my boyfriend Mystery Picnic Date - Summerlin. Was amazing 😻

Good communication from the company. Customer service via email and phone call was all very helpful and polite. The day was well planned, very interesting, fun and great food places they partnered with. Recommend it for a couple as well as friends. I loved it all around and would do it again!

We have recently completed two mystery picnics with AmazingCo and have enjoyed both experiences. Our first picnic was based in the Dandenong Ranges (standard with valentine add on) and our second was on the Mornington Peninsula (premium picnic). Comparing the two, I would definitely recommend spending the extra for the premium experience, as we found the quality of the items and the additional stops really added value to our experience.
AmazingCo have provided a unique and interesting way to explore new places and connect with your partner, friends or family!
We can't wait for our next AmazingCo adventure

Mystery Picnic was such an amazing experience and created lasting memories. Every destination we visited was effortlessly enjoyable — from the friendly people we met to the fresh produce we collected along the way, all leading up to our final picnic spot.
The clues added a really fun and engaging touch to the whole experience, making it even more special.
Worth every penny
