AMAXS recently completed a seven-month renovation project for us, and I would highly recommend them.

The project included an extension above the garage, opening up the downstairs space, upgrading to a high-pressure water system, and installing underfloor heating. The team were hardworking, highly reliable, and a genuine pleasure to have on site. They often worked weekends and bank holidays to help speed things along.

Monika and Slavek genuinely care about their clients and consistently went out of their way to support and advise us throughout the process. They were also extremely flexible in accommodating changes in scope and adapting to additional requirements, including those arising from mistakes made by our architects. This project would have likely gone array if it was not for their knowledge, flexibility and integrity.

AMAXS built a new porch extension for our house. Build quality is excellent, and builders were always on time and took on questions and small adjustments professionally. Communication with Monika was outstanding. Anytime we had a query or question, it was dealt with promptly and in a pleasant manner. Couldn’t ask for more!

Amaxs undertook a 9 month renovation of an old, damp 3 bedroom house, and left us with a 3 story, 5 bedroom home with heated floors and new electrics and plumbing throughout. Every room was rebuilt or renovated. Kitchen, bathrooms, living rooms, study and patio.

They were incredibly attentive and worked to the highest quality. We were so happy with the results. A very professional and positive team.

We went on to use them again for 2 other projects —a full garage conversion and a new garden outbuilding.

Finally, my daughter chose Amaxs for her 6 month home renovation. They really couldn’t do a better job.

We used AMAXS for a project to re-model an existing single-storey, flat-roof extension with a new pitched roof, large sliding glass doors to the garden, a new kitchen in the space and new flooring throughout. Steve, Monika and their team were very professional, hard-working and cleaned up after themselves every day. The quality of the work was very good and if anything wasn't quite right they sorted it out. We would use AMAXS again and have recommended them to several friends.

Amaxs have completed a couple of large and complex projects for us that required their full range of skills and also relied on their ability to work well with our architect and any other contractors required for specialist work. Their work has been to a high standard throughout. From quote to completion, costs were clear and plans were translated into actual pragmatic solutions. If any issues came up, as they always will, Amaxs worked with us to find solutions. They have also made suggestions to allow us to consider finishing solutions we'd not thought about. Monika and Steve have been responsive and easy to deal with and we would highly recommend them and their team.

If you would like one company from the start to the end of your project I will highly recommend Amaxs. We bought an older property needed a total renovation. With a very short notice Amaxs team completed a whole house rewiring, brand new central heating system and remodel our kitchen and dining area. Through out the whole project they where very professional and tidy. Great communication with Monika and Steve from the quote to the finish job. All the work was completed to the high standards and kept within budget. I’m already planning to use Amaxs again.

I recently had a bathroom fitted and bedroom conversion by AMAXS. Throughout the work, I was very happy with their professional friendly service, high quality workmanship at a reasonable price. What's not to like 😀
Great communication with Monika from the initial quote to the finished job and waste disposal. I appreciated the advice from staff and tradesmen and would highly recommend AMAXS construction to anyone looking for home improvements no matter how big or small.

As a new community cafe in the local area I asked if AMAXS could fit a coffee machine. It involved significant rewiring, plumbing etc. Steve and his team were quick, left no mess and were very friendly. Their kindness extended further as they completed the work for free for us as it was to benefit the local community. I’m so grateful to them for their work and kindness - highly recommend!!

We needed a small job repairing some floorboards and replacing the carpet in our upper hall landing done quickly and efficiently. After an initial quotation to view the job, it was completed by two very personable workmen who followed all Covid-19 distancing procedures. We would highly recommend this company's service and would definitely use them again!
