While it took some time, I have begun to trust Joel and Rob with the stock picks they provide. They don't always hit the mark, but the most people stand to lose is 20%. Altimetry is pretty adamant about getting out. I find AT TIMES I have ignored their recommendation to get out, but stayed. Sometime I made out, sometimes I lost, but that was my choice. What I most like, is they do not hype up issues as other services seem to do to catch your attention. They provide solid reviews and recommendations. I fully invested into their Lifetime service in 10/2025 and I have not regrated my discission. I learned quite a bit about personal finance through their Timetable Investor and Wealth Foundation letters. I would say that over 90% of my portfolio is based on their recommendations and I'm up (05/2026) over 44%. For Gov't and Military employees, they even acknowledge TSP. I've learned to trust their recommendations. Thank you Joel and Rob!

This company takes your money when you do not expect it and refuses to give a refund when you ask. I subscribed to a financial advice letter (apparently - I do not recall doing so nor do I recall ever reading anything useful from them) a year ago. A "renewal fee" was recently taken out of my credit card. By the time I saw that, my "window" had expired and they refused to refund, even though I have nearly a year's worth of "advice" remaining. Not an honest business, so how could anyone trust their advice?

I have been using the Altimetry service for a little over 3 years now. I have also subscribed to a number of other investment services. I always run every other stock pickers recommendations through the altimeter before deciding if I should invest. The importance of adjusting a company's GAAP stated earnings to uniform accounting cannot be over emphasized. The fact that all 10 of the nations top 10 money managers utilize their service speaks volumes. I have the "Partnership" level service so I get all their recommendations. They have a longer term approach. You generally should expect to stay in a stock they recommend for 9-24 months. If a recommendation falls more than 20% they recommend you sell. It's a disciplined approach. All recommendations must pass through their investment policy committee. All their recommendations are targeted to at least double from the recommended price. (Of course, not all of them do.) Their master classes are great. I have learned a lot. Did you know over 85% of all analysts recommendations are buy or hold? Had I taken the master classes in my 30's there is much I would have done differently and I would have a larger portfolio to manage. What stops me from giving them from 5 stars is better guidance on timing when to invest. They recommend dollar cost averaging your way in over time. If you do that, many recommendations reach their maximum buy price before you get fully in. A recent master class on how Joel Litman uses the altimeter to evaluate companies was very insightful for me. I feel like the longer I use the service, the better an investor I will become. I didn't dive in the deep end. Up until a few months ago, I still had more than half my investments in a growth stock fund and a high dividend fund. Even with that, I have beaten the S&P for the first 10 months of 2025, but only by about 3 percentage points. If I can't get up to beating it by 10% yearly within a few years of being fully invested in my Altimetry assisted picks, I will take Joel Litmans advice and just buy VOO and spend more time on my hobbies.
It is pricey, so you will need to consider how much you have to invest and whether you can earn enough extra return to make it worth the cost.
Scam. Pure and simple. Legit investors and TRULY talented financial advisors don't need to resort to these kinds of tactics to get you to pay. Do your research on this clown, and make your own INFORMED decision BEFORE you buy from him.
This service was a total waste of money! Littman sells a great story about being a sleuth at un-covering hidden earnings and revenue scams at certain companies. I signed up for their service and I was directed to a website that had little information and all I ever got from them were more emails asking for more money to access their premium services. In essence, I paid them so they could get my contact information and then solicit me endlessly for their premium services. I never saw anything from them that was useful. Run, run, run from these guys!
In couple of years I have been with them, I have not received one advice that can make me decent money, before the whole world is on it. They are selling smoke and mirrors. I should have known.
All they do is try to sell more and "better" creations of their own. Pathetic.
Their "success stories" are a joke, a real joke.
The is the worst X thousands of dollars spent in my life.
my encounter with the company showed them to be of very high integrity and honesty.
They promise free stock tips but like a lot of things from Stansberry, you have to watch a 60 min video to finally get one stick tip and a pitch for a $2500 non refundable 1 year subscription.
i just listened to the sales pitch video (promoted by Stansberry Research) on Altimetry - Joel Litman (not to be confused with a service with a similar name - Altimeter Capital) that promised a 2 stock recommendation and the reviews talked about a trial period. I call this a bait and switch( no 2 recommendations or 30 day trial mention in promo.)I did learn about the Russell reconstitution on June 28th.
Be aware of this kind sponsored advertisement. Their team back up each other to earn their bread and butter.not trustworthy.
Poor performance, warning the refund they talk about is limited to 30 days and I never saw it mentioned in the ad. These guys are connected to Chaikin who sent out a false pre-market SCMI BUY recommendation and were so incompetent that they didn't notify me of the error until after trading hours and the SCMI stock dropped over %10. I don’t expect them to be always right with advice, but I expect intentional advice, not erroneous costly advice.
Fortunately I read your website reviews. All are ex-members of your altimetry due to poor communication or no communication. lack of pleasant customer service and overcharging with no money returned during your 30 days refund period. your presentation was good but your sales follow through is the worst.
I have not used the service yet, but Altimetry is very transparent on their offer made this month. (The Chaikin and Litman video). The link provided at the end of the 1+ hour video still works as shown, and still provides all of the 'value' they claim. $2500 all in and the term is auto-renew by default. The refund is also CREDIT TOWARDS furture purchases, not back on the card, so best to be sold on subscribing before pushing the button. It looks like a strong offer for those willing to invest in Chaikin-style advise, using a different "Beyond-GAAP" lens.

Dear Altimetry…
I just finished watching the two hour joint presentation by chaikin and altimetry. The moderator said the offer would be open until midnight. After the long presentation I took time to eat dinner (I live in California), thinking I had plenty of time to respond to their offer. At 8 pm my time (11 pm east coast time, still one hour until midnight) I tried to log in to the web site shown several times during the presentation and found that it does not exist (try it yourself). I did find another web site showing chaikin, so clicked on that one. It showed content by the joint presenters that appeared to relate to this evening’s presentation, but with big letters saying the offer had expired. This was at 11: 08 pm, east coast time. I am so upset by these failures that I have no confidence in the offer that I missed out on. I just thought you would like to know about them.

I just checked my credit card statement and there is a healthy charge lister there. I was under the impression that our original agreement is ended at least a year ago.
Would you please check your records and let me know where I stand.

I have used Joel Litman and his service for nearly a year now! I enjoy getting up each days and looking at stocks and how they are rated. I can tell you he isn't perfect but darn close. My account is up because of him and working with Chaikin analytics. I used to use Fischer what a rip off. They want you to have 500,000 in your acct to start working with you so they can be paid on money they never earned! For those complaining about getting a credit on account instead of a full refund, ignore them. They are the ones trying to rip off Altimetry as it is fully disclosed upon signing up that they will not refund because of people taking advantage of using it then dumping it (the service). Keep up the good work guys!!
Stay Away!! I paid many thousands to join this service. I found the tools to be outdated and not current to the market. Most worrisome a creepy guy just called me from Altimetry and when I asked for reason for the call he said “did I get recent sales email”. I said don’t call me with solicitations the guy got very rude yelled at me. I’m really creeped out as they have my cell and address!!!! Not worth the money and creepy too!!!
Signed up for trial Altimetry. Did not agree to auto renewal. I cancelled after unauthorized auto renewal. For 2 years they debited my credit card. Finally agreed to give me a Altimetry credit for $178 not my credit card. So I’m out over $350. Don’t trust these people.
I canceled within the 7 day period and they wont refund my money.they sent me old info. from 2001 - 2002. They said they would send me my money back after i waited weeks and never did. Had to cancel my debit card so they could not keep charging me.its a shame Google lets these bums advertise ! I emailed Google and their responce was that companys like this slip through the cracks.well it must be a big CRACK ! Altinetry said that they are not a financial adviser their a financal reporter .more like a financal RIP OFF.
