I participated on a 7 day Mt Ararat tour put together and organized by Caria Pan Travel in late July of 2022. Our tour and mountain guide Yuksel had previously summited Mt Ararat approximately over 70 times, so experience played a key role. When you're summiting a mountain over 5,000 meters, you want your guide to be as experienced as possible and that's what we got. A pre Mt Ararat climb (Mt Artos / 3,500 meters) was included to get everyone acclimeitized. Many other tour offer this on Mt Ararat but it was nice to experience another scenic mountain. I would have to say that Caria Pan Travel's base camp facilities were probably the best on the mountain. Safety was alway paramount for Yuksel giving us nightly briefings of the next day's program and procedures. The tour also included opportunities to see some of eastern Anatolia's treasures like the Armenian church on Aktamar island, Van castle and archeological museum as well as Ishakpasa Palace.

The individual hiking week on the Lycian coast was perfectly organised. Service is the DNA of this company. Yüksel and Ci are really very experienced travel professionals. They not only think along, but ahead. The hiking routes were provided both digitally and in print, all transfers worked super punctually. Top!

After great experiences on the Lycian Way 2021, I entrusted myself to Caria Pan for the second time for a physical all-round reset. One week "Bays of Aphrodite individually" and then one week "Paulusweg - Hiking in the Taurus Mountains individually". Sensational for all my senses!
Hiking alone without local language, letting nature, animals, village communities and people take effect on you. Only occupied with myself with three to four liters of water, nuts and fish or Köfte in the evening - pure regeneration!

I have been on hiking trips, backcountry ski touring, as well as summiting Mt-Ararat with Yuksel. The fact that I am a repeat customer says it all, right? Caria Pan Travel, and my experience is predominantly with Yuksel, is that it is an excellent company to organise trips with due to easy communication and help arranging/planning travel/expeditions. Yüksel is amazing. He took us up Mt Ararat - an extremely challenging 5 day climb. I’m afraid of heights and he really looked after me. He was professional and caring throughout - even after I ate all his muesli! The equipment and the food were excellent. His coordination and preparation were faultless - everything went like clockwork. His knowledge of the mountain, its dangers and its beauty, and the flora and fauna was really impressive. He takes his work seriously and I would trust him with my life. He is also receptive to feedback and made changes as we went along to ensure we had the best experience.
