Absolutely Disgraceful Customer…
Absolutely Disgraceful Customer Service. I have been going back and forth for nigh on two weeks now as my samebike throttle is erratic to say the least, the brakes are horrendous and the pedal assist does not work. The thing is a deathtrap. What do I get from these guys in response. A video of a display for a completely different bine asking me to film the bike whilst in use! Talk about stupid and dangerous. And now no response. An absolute shambles top to bottom. Just give me my money back. £900 quid down the drain .

the scooter itself is spot on but …
the scooter itself is spot on but unfortunately upon arrival the throttle was broke inside a small bit of plastic what holds the spring was snapped . I used superglue to fix it until the new throttle arrives . also the back suspension is leaking with fluid. batteries are pretty good 21 miles from my first charge using full 2400w level 3 . some of the time only using the throttle half way . all in great peice of kit sold my surron LBX to buy this and even though it's nowhere near as fast but it's still lots of fun and much less at risk of being stolen/robbed/confiscated . (UPDATE) Alphascootz has refunded me the money for my replacment throttle

I purchased an Evercross A1 electric scooter, which was advertised five times on their website as 28mph. On arrival it was limited to 15. I asked if I can increase the speed and, if not how I can return it for a refund as it is miss-sold.
Many emails later, they refuse to return the scooter, despite a legal responsibility to do so within 14 days. I have paid €600 for a machine I don't want and can't return.
The scooter looks fine, but please be aware their promises of excellent customer service are meaningless.

Legally, electric scooters with motor assistance are limited to a maximum speed of 25 km/h (15.5 mph). This restriction is standard across EU countries, ensuring that scooters remain classified as light vehicles, which allows them to be used without special licensing or registration.
Please note that the speed limit can be unlocked through a few simple steps directly from the screen of the device. However, it's important to understand that removing or bypassing speed limiters may have legal and safety implications. The rider will be responsible for operating the scooter on public roads.
