Sadly disappointed
Lox locking earring backs. Not great I'm afraid. I thought this was the answer to my daughter losing her earrings. They push on ok but when she's in bed they push right into the back of her ear loves. They've also come off completely 3 times. Good idea but needs more work on the design before they claim to never losing an earring again!

Many thanks for your review and purchasing LOX. As the inventor of LOX, I am sorry to hear you have had trouble with your LOX.
I have honestly not had any reports of them tightening when being worn in bed.
We do however get occasional reports of people losing or nearly losing their earring which is always down to them not being used correctly.
At every stage of both the design and manufacture of LOX every effort has been made to ensure complete reliability and quality. Each back is carefully hand-assembled and tested to ensure it is perfect.
Providing LOX are used correctly they not only grip the earring post - the grip tightens the more you try to pull them off. The only way you should be able to remove them is by squeezing the metal clip and plastic tab together which will release their grip.
There are a couple of probable reasons why you lost your earring.
The first (and most common) is squeezing the metal clip and plastic tab together whilst applying them. On many occasions users believe they are using them correctly because LOX have a modicum of grip when used incorrectly. If you pick the back up at the sides it’s not possible do this. Just remember “push on squeeze off”. Also, once you have released the grip LOX must be removed completely and then re-applied as they will lose most of their grip.
Although the above might sound complicated, it is honestly really easy!
The second reason to be mindful of is 'playing' with your earrings. My wife, for example, often finds herself fiddling with her earrings. On the rare occasion, she accidentally squeezes the metal clip, which causes it to release its grip. When that happens, the back will need to be removed and re-applied to ensure it's secure again.
