Suspended my account and kept my money without delivering anything

I had a terrible experience with Aloaded.

I signed up and paid them to distribute a track. Before the release even reached any platforms, they suddenly suspended my account, claiming the song was based on an unreleased work by a major artist. As a result, they blocked the distribution entirely - nothing was delivered to Spotify, Apple Music, etc.

What makes this worse is that I had contacted Aloaded before opening my account to clearly explain that I wanted to distribute licensed cover songs, and they gave me a positive answer. Despite that, when I actually uploaded my track, they shut down my account and kept the money, even though no distribution service was ever provided.

Communication felt rigid and one-sided: they hid behind “legal risk”, took the payment, blocked the release and suspended the account. From my perspective, this is an extremely unfair way to treat artists and labels who try to do things transparently.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Aloaded at all. If you’re an independent artist or label, be very careful before trusting them with your releases and your money.

Hi, and thanks for your review. We want to clarify the context of this case, as it relates to both our policy and the communication that took place before the upload.

Ahead of account creation, we confirmed that Aloaded distributes licensed cover songs as long as the necessary documentation is provided and the original composition is officially released. We also informed you that, if there were questions around rights, you were welcome to supply agreements for review so we could reassess the material.

The track you uploaded was identified as being based on an unreleased work controlled by a major rights holder. This is legally distinct from a licensed cover of a released composition. DSPs treat these two categories entirely differently, and distributors are required to apply strict compliance procedures around unreleased IP.

Because of this, and in accordance with the Terms of Use accepted at signup, we were obligated to halt distribution and suspend the account. No distributor is permitted to knowingly deliver content derived from unreleased copyrighted material to Spotify, Apple Music, or any other DSP.

As part of onboarding any new label, we prepare delivery channels, validate catalogue standards, and ensure that material meets the compliance requirements set by our DSP partners. These processes are the reason we operate as a preferred provider with Spotify and are trusted by thousands of artists and labels.

When a release cannot legally proceed, the account is closed in line with the terms agreed at signup.

We understand it is frustrating when a release cannot move forward, but the steps taken followed the exact process defined in the terms you accepted and in line with the information we provided ahead of upload.

If you would like to revisit the details of your case, our support team is available to continue the conversation directly.

Aloaded is a Scam don't join.

Aloaded is a Scam don't join.

They charged me 300 Euros for Label Services which they didn't execute.
What's worse they don't want to show my royalties.

And they just a middle man for IIP-DDS which is a label previously named FUGA.

We’re sorry to hear that you’ve had a disappointing experience.

Just to clarify, FUGA is not a label - it's a technology provider offering distribution software. At Aloaded, we have direct deals with major platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and Amazon Music, as well as distribution to over a hundred other services worldwide.

Regarding royalties: we don’t automatically send statements to labels whose payouts are below our €50 payment threshold. However, you’re always welcome to reach out to our support team if you’d like an update on your royalty balance - we’ll gladly provide a full breakdown.

We also offer a generous refund policy as long as labels submit their pitch materials and follow the platform guidelines set by the streaming services. If you feel your case hasn’t been handled properly, we encourage you to reach out directly so we can resolve it together.

Kind regards,
Aloaded
